I used Prima and WOC flowers, and other flowers from my stash, AC ribbon and a sprinkling of brown half pearls! Exciting News and Magnolia Down Under Challenge # 64...Fancy Folds...Happy Birthday to you...!!!
So, my exciting news is.......I am one of the 4 new DT members for Magnolia Down Under Challenges blog...Whoo Hoo...I'm so super excited! What a fabulous DT and challenge blog they have!!! I am so honoured to have been picked alongside the likes of Camillia, Debbie Dolphin and Denise, 3 amazingly talented stampers!!! WOW!!! A total surprise for me and I am just soooo ecstatic!
So, I made this envelope box for a card I made a while back and have been saving to give to my friend's daughter on her upcoming birthday! When I first saw Annika's tutorial using the MS Score Board I was very intrigued...then I saw the MS score board at Micheals so I picked one up and today I attempted my first envelope box! It was super easy following along with Annika's tutorial and I am so glad to finally know how to make these fabulous boxes for my bulky easel cards! So I made this box to go with this easel card for Olivia ! She just loves the Tilda cards I make for her and she loves princesses too...what 4 yer old, soon to be 5, doesn't, right!
So, I thought to celebrate my exciting news, about joining the Magnolia Down Under Challenges DT, I would join the challenge even though this envelope box is a bit of a stretch for the "Fancy Folds" challenge! I have been dieing to colour this Tilda as a Ballerina image for a while. I also know that Olivia has been taking ballet lessons too...so I thought it would be perfect! I am very happy with how Tilda turned out. I added a lot of Glamour dust to her tiara and the swirls! I pop-dotted her on the front panel of the envelobox and coordinated it to match the Tilda Princess card and added her name to the box with QK Maddie Anne.
Well, I hope that you will be able play along with the me and the fabulous DT over at the Magnolia Down Under Challenges blog every Sunday! I offically start at the begining of October and I am so excitited...eeekkk!

Please pay them a visit. I know you will be totally inspired to join the challenge when you see the gorgeousness for yourself!
So, Kieran has a b-day party to go to this evening and this is the card that I made for him to give to his freind. What 10 year old boy wouldn't like a card made with this very cool Pirate, Billy Blyth!? I coloured Billy here with my Copics and I'm quite happy with how he came out...I used my Clay E44 Copic to grunge him up a bit. So, Kieran, totally approved of this card...we are good to go, phew! (The kids are always my toughest critics, lol!) Kieran said he liked the distressing of the edges of the paper and Billy's gun the best...ugghh...what is it about boys and guns, anyways?! Well, I did the distressing of the edges with my Tim Holtz Distresser tool. The papers are fabulous, aren't they? They are MME Spider's Web....love em'...perfect for this Pirate card and for Halloween and perfect for this Mostly Black and White Challenge!
Here is the inside of my card....again, I kept it pretty simple...both sentiments on this card are from Kimmie's Pirate Sentiment set.
Thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge card! I hope you can join the challenge!
Happy Stampin'!

Good morning crafty friends! Whoo hoo! it is the weekend and I am soooooo happy to be able to spend the day stamping up a storm, lol, but first I want to say that we have a new challenge for you over at BasicGrey Challengs blog and it's a sketch by little ol' me, smile! Of, course our very talented and computer savvy BG Boss, Martine, made it look all professional for me! Thanks, hun! So, I hope you can join us over the next 2 weeks at BG Challenges and try my sketch! I'm so looking forward to seeing all the fab creations with it! Just remember to be eligible for the fabulous 25 dollar voucher for the Simon Says Stamps Superstore you must use at least one BG item on your card or project! Also, please visit the BG DT as they have all made such gorgeous creations with my sketch. They are all sure to inspire you to paly along with us this fortnight!
So for my card I used BasiGrey Basics Manila 6x6 paper pad. Oh, I just love, love, love these papers they are soooooo fabulous and I also used a Kioshi paper as well from the 6x6 paper pad. The fabulous sentiment inspired this card. It is one of my all time favourite sentiments that I picked up at Stamping Bella! I stamped it with Versamark ink and used American Crafts Zing Chestnut Embossing powder. I coloured up this cutie pie Tilda with my Copics and cut her out and pop-dotted her on the Nestie cut circles and large scalloped circle. The ribbon is from my stash and I embellished with Prima Flowers and BG Wisteria brads and sprinkled a few half pearls here and there.
Here is the inside...this sentiment and cute little butterfly are Melissa Frances rub-on and I left a space that a note can be written to the recipient of this card on the BG Basics lined paper.
Well, thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my BasicGrey Challenges card! I also want to thank all my lovely crafty friends who visit me and leave me such sweet comments....I'm sorry I haven't been so good lately at returning the favour...but I hope to be around to visit very soon. I also have a card for the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps challenge to share with you later this morning so pop back around to have a peek!!!

My Favorite Things...WSC Challenge...Super Star!
For my card I decided to use the Who's that Girl Goes Green set and I used this fab Scenic Route paper that I just love! I am getting down to my last few sheets....eeeekkk! Well, this paper, just so happens, to have these fabulous stars on it, so, it was perfect for my card! I paper pieced the WTG and her shopping bags with co-ordinating Scenic Route paper and coloured the rest of the image with my Copics. I added some American Crafts ribbon and I just stamped the word "organic" from one of the sentiments that comes in the set and used this great sisal nameplate with red BG brads. Then I found the 100% acrylic embellishment in my stash!
Here is the inside...pretty simple...I used another one of the sentiments that comes in the set and I cut out the panel with my Nestie die, left the image in the die and inked with Old Paper Distress ink.
Thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card!

Belles 'n Whistles Stamps Challenge..Lace & Frills and Sketch Saturday # 120...You Make me Happy!
So, for my card I made the base 6x6 from brown Colorbok Cardstock. I used this gorgeous MME Quite Contrary paper and matted with pink American Crafts cardstock. The Challenge at B 'n' W is Lace and Frills so I use some cotton lace trim and made a pleated frill with pink crepe paper which I have been meaning to forever and finally got to it and love how it looks. I also used some yummy Martha Stewart Seam Binding that I've crinkled myself and tied a double messy bow and added BG button with hemp twine in the centre. I also added some pink Prima flowers with BG Nook and Pantry brads and one of these gorgeous WOC roses!!!! I just love this chartreuse green...OMGosh, so yummy...I'm hording the rest of them, smile! The sentiment is from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and giggle is a rub-on that I had in my stash!
I used this adorable B 'n' W image called Beary Big Hugs and coloured it with my Copics and added darker shadows, well, I attempted to, add darker shadows with Brushed Corduroy Distress ink and a dry brush like I saw on Angie Hunt's blog Scrap Girl here. Mine doesn't even look close to her gorgeous colouring but I will keep practicing with this dry brush technique but I think I need a better and smaller brush, lol!
Well, thanks so much for stopping by having a wee peek at my B 'n' W card!

My Favorite Things...WSC Challenge...Back 2 School Blues?!
So, Today I have a card to share with you that I made on the weekend for the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club Challenge...Back 2 School Blues...is the challenge this week! But first I need to say what a fabulously exciting MFT week last week was for me! First, I was one of the "Favorite Finds" with my Expecting Love Baby Bump set card that I made for the BG Challenge and then I won a $15.00 MFT voucher for last week's MFT WSC...sketch challenge with this card...whoo hoo!!! Talk about a great week!!!
So, for my card I used this Making Memories 6x6 paper pad called Chloe's Closet and I used this cutie PI Girl called Book in hand. I paper pieced her skirt and I stamped 2 images on Nennah card and coloured her sweater hand and book on the one and then cut that out and pieced it as well. If I just pieced her skirt and coloured the rest of the image then it would've looked like her sweater was under her skirt. This just keeps all the dimensions right. I picked up this little tip from Michele Boyer...she is so talented and the bestest paper piecer ever!!! I cut the image out with my Nesties and inked with Old Paper Distress ink. Also, if you are paper piecing and plan on cutting your image out with a Nestie die, do that first and then glue the pieces on so that it doesn't get smooshed in your die cutting machine....I picked this up by trial and error, lol.
I love the look of stitching on cards but I haven't ventured into the sewing thing yet....but my Kelly Panacci Stitching stamps always give me great results and look pretty realistic too. I stamped them with Vintage Photo Distress ink. I used my new Notebook Edge Di-namics die and I use some of this scrumptious stripped twill ribbon that came in my VIP set too. I used these cute felt flowers that I had in my stash and a felt button and decided to put BG brads in the holes just for a change. The sentiment is a Melissa Frances rub-on and Making Memories glitter letter stickers.
Here is the inside...pretty simple the sentiment is from the My Umbrella PI set.
Well, Thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my WSC card!
Happy Stampin'!

Simon Says...STAMP-TEMBER Blog Hop....Holiday Wishes!
Well, then I got to work making my card and I thought I would use this adorable Tilda that I coloured with my Copics! I thought she would be great for a Christmas card...she is blowing you Holiday Wishes, smile!!!! I also used the fabulous sketch by Dawny P over at the Just Magnolia Challenge blog. I did deviate from the design a wee bit but not intentionally. I just went of track from my original plan mid way and well this is what I came up with but I think you can still see Dawny's fabulous sketch in there under all the flowers and bling, lol!
I used BG Eskimo Kisses 6x6 paper pad and Bazzill Basic Bling cardstock and made a6x6 easel card. I did some masking with Tilda and the Magnolia envelope stamp and then used the "Out of the Box" technique and cut Tilda out with my Oal Nesties as I didn't want to cut away all the little sparkles in the image. To embellish I used lots of Prima flowers, one WOC blue Gardenia, lots of bling, Glimmer Mist and Glamor Dust! I used some American Crafts ribbon and the pink ruffle trim is form my BG Teamie and blogging friend, Tara W. The sentiments are Melissa Frances rub-ons (which I just so happen to get at Simon Says Stamp) and the Holiday Wishes sentiment is a Kraftin' Kimmie Sentiment stamp.
Well, thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my Simon Says STAMP-TEMBER Blog hop Challenge card!
I am keeping my fingers crossed...maybe I will get lucky and win the big $100 shopping spree or maybe some of the delish candy the DT have available on their blogs! Why don't you get hopping!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps September Release Preview # 2...Furever Friends!
So, for my card today I used Jayne one of the gorgeous Pin Up Girls from the Moonlight Whispers collection and coloured her in with my Copics, of course. I thought I would keep her more innocent looking for this card and so I picked papers and colours that downplayed her sex-kitten demeanour and tried to bring out her demure side, lol! I, once again, used Life is Good pp by Echo Park...I can't even begin, to tell you how much, I love this paper!!! I also used more Martha Stewart crinkled seam binding with a double buttony bow, lots of pearls and Primas too! I used a Kraftin' Kimmie sentiment stamp that comes with Roxy and Bernice and "Cherish" is a Mellisa Frances rub-on.
Well, thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek and my Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps preview card! I will be back on Saturday for the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge with another preview card and I will be back on Sunday with the KKS Blog Hop to celebrate the new stamps release! I hope you can come by and check out all the kraftiness we have in store!
Have a stampin' great day!

Just Magnolia # 71, MDU # 62, A Spoonful Of Sugar, #120...You're Fintastic!
I made a 6x6 easel card from Colorbok cardstock and used Echo Park It's a Good Life which is just gorgeous paper and I am so in love with it. I can't wait to get the Christmas ranges of Echo Park they both look scrumptious. So I used the Magnolia Doohickey tag and cut it from craft cardstock I stamped the Magnolia Seahorse and then distressed the tag, crumpled it up and inked it with Tumbled Glass Distress inks. I then applied a thin coat of Rock Candy Distress Stickles and let it dry...it is very sparkly IRL and has a very cool affect IRL, unfortunately it didn't photograph well...I think I'm going to get the Rock Candy Distress Crackle Paint though because that would actually crackle and give the Cracked Glass effect. I stamped Tilda as a Mermaid and coloured her with my Copics and cut her out with my Circle Nesties and then inked with Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Shabby Shutters. I then put a thin coat of the Rock Candy on Tilda's Tail and shell bikini top. I also added some Colorbok rain dots stickers and bling on the bubbles.
I added a few Prima flowers, American Crafts ribbon, and lace trim, and lots of bling here and there. The sentiment on the tag is a Melissa Frances rub-on and the other two sentiments are Kraftin' Kimmie sentiments stamps. Now, have you noticed my larger pics on my blog...I just figured out how to do this. It has been a long process for me to figure this out, I'm so not computer savvy but I am thrilled that I finally have bigger pics...although some of them have been too big, me thinks, but I am getting the hang of it so bare with me, lol!
well, Thanks so much for popping by and having a wee peek at my card and thank you so much for all the sweet comments you leave me, friends...you are so thoughtful and they mean so much to me!

I coloured it with my Copics and cut it out with my circle Nestie and inked with Spun Sugar Distress inks. I added some gorgeous ribbon from My Favorite Things, some bling and for all the scrumptious scalloped layers, I used the Jumbo scalloped edge Di-namics die also from My Favorite Things.
Here is the inside...I printed the sentiment out on the computer and added some bling.
Well, thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card! I really hope you can join us at the Whiff of Joy challenge!
