My Favorite Things Stamps...WSC # 173...Cheer Up

Hey stampin' friends! Just popping on here to share the card that I made with this week's My favorite Things Stamps - Wednesday Stamp Club # 173!

 Have you ever had a "crafting injury"? Well, a piece of cardstock jabbed under the fingernail of my pointer finger; on my right hand. It separated the nail from the nail bed and It hurts SOOOO badly. I think it may even be a wee bit infected...OUCH! It is making it difficult to type and so I'm going to keep it short and sweet tonight!

I flipped the great sketch around and made a 5.5 X 5.5 square card to fit my image!

I inked up this sweet NEW Pure Innocence Sunny Thoughts girl...I absolutely adore her!!! I coloured her with my Copics and paper pieced her out-fit with these pretty BasicGrey Fresh Cut 6X6 papers. I matted with MFT Replenishments Heavyweight Card Stock in Razzle Berry and Berrylicious.

I left the New Sunny Thoughts girl in the Rectangle STAX Die-namics and inked with Tumbled Glass and Pumice Stone Distress ink. I stamped a sentiment from the Sunny Thoughts Stamp set in Razzle Berry Premium Dye ink on Sweet Tooth Heavyweight Card Stock. Instead of the heart that the sketch called for I added a few cute clouds from the NEW Cloud Cover-Up Die-namics.  Lastly, I added a few YNS Sparkly White Gum Drops and some pink AC Hemp cord.

I finished off the inside too...The square stitched panel is from the NEW Blueprints 14. I stamped a shadow image of the PI Sunny Thoughts in Berrylicious Premium Dye Ink and stamped another sentiment from the set in Razzle Berry Premium Dye ink. Again, I added a few more cute clouds from the Cloud Cover-Up Die-namics and a little sun.

My Favorite Things Stamps...WSC # 172 & CPC # 4...Friend Request!

Hello stampin' friends! I made a card for this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club challenge - MFTWSC172 and thought I would team it up with the April MFT Color Palette Challenge while I was at it!

I flipped the sketch around and swapped out the oval panel for the LLD Smart Phone Die-namics.

This is the pretty spring colour palette that I used with MFT Replenishments Card Stock!

I'm all smiles...I finally switched over to an iPhone after having a Blackberry for many years! I was a little apprehensive about the touch keyboard as I've always loved the blackberry keyboard but I am loving my iPhone and all it can do! So, I thought I would use the fun LLD Smart Phone Die-namics for my card in honour of my cute new blue iPhone 5C! I used the stitched panel from Blueprints 13 cut from Natural Heavyweight Card Stock and stamped with the Wood Plank Background Stamp in Natural Premium Dye Ink. I cut the Razzle Berry Heavyweight Card Stock panel with the Swiss Dots Die-namics and layered it over Blu Raspberry Heavyweight Card Stock to mimic the iPhone 5C cases with the holes.

I cut out the "Hello" sentiment from the LLD Smart Phone Die-namics and the "smile" sentiment is from Blueprints 11. I added a few Blue Gumdrops from Your Next Stamp and wrapped and tied a bow with AC pink hemp cord.

I finished the inside of the card too...I used the Sweet Stack Die-namics and Blueprints 12 to create the sentiment panel and stamped the sentiments from the LLD Friend Request Stamp set in Razzle Berry and Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink. I also added a wee blue iPhone from the LLD Accent It - Cute Cameras.
