This is the FAB SFYTT # 16...

http://colorthrowdown.blogspot.ca/2014/08/color-throwdown-307-countdown.html

and I used the gorgeous color combo that they have over at the Color Throwdown # 307!

I used the MME Kate & Co. Oxford Lane 6X6 paper pad...perfect for the color combo that they have over at the Color Throwdown and the inspirational image that they have for the CTD # 307 inspired me to pull out my Reverse Confetti Petals 'n Posies Stamp set and coordinating Petals 'N Posies Confetti Cuts. I replaced the rectangle panel on the sketch with the fabulous RC Tag Me, Too Confetii Cuts and used the fabulous script word confetti cuts that come with it. I embellished with some AC twine and blue Gumdrops.

I cut out the "for you" sentiment 4 times from Lemon Drop Heavyweight Card Stock and adhered them together to create dimension. This also adds a lot of stability to the delicate word die cuts...I just love the way it pops up the sentiment!

I finished off the inside of the card too....I used the Circles 'N Scallops Confetti Cuts and layered a sentiment from the Petals 'N Posies.

Thanks SO much for popping by and havin' a little look at my card for the September SFYTT # 16! I can't wait to see what you make with your RC stamps and Confetti Cuts and this month's sketch!

LOVE this sketch...perfect for a Pure Innocence girl.

I wanted to colour up this sweet Pure Innocence Close-Knit girl and this sketch was perfect for my idea to embellish with a knit flower. That circle element was the perfect spot to add the knit flower from MME - The Sweetest Things - Tangerine line and I added a coordinating Epoxy brad to the centre of the flower. I also used MME Tangerine 6X6 paper pad for my card and matted with MFT Replenishments Heavyweight Card Stock in Red Hot, Bubblegum Pink, Sno Cone and Primitive Cream

I coloured the PI Close-Knit girl with my Copics and cut the image out with the Pierced Rectangle STAX. I left the image in the die and inked with Spun Sugar Distress ink and Tea Dye Distress ink. I stamped a sentiment from the Pure Innocence - Love is in the Air Stamp set on Primitive Cream Heavyweight Card Stock in Red Hot Premium Dye Ink.

Here is the inside... I stamped a shadow image of the Pure Innocence Close-Knit girl in Red Hot Premium Dye Ink. I used my all time fave Layered Label Die-namics and the Fishtail Flags and Fishtail Layers STAX to make my sentiment panel. I love the sentiments in the PI Close-Knit stamp set and I stamped this one in Red Hot Premium Dye Ink

Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a little look at my card for this week's My Favorite Things Stamps - Wednesday Stamp Club # 161 with the Pure Innocence Close-Knit Stamp set

Cute Card Thursday # 299...Boy and the Dog...Warm Wishes!

Hey Stampin' friends! I've been busy trying to get caught up on my Christmas card making and so I thought the Challenge over at, Cute Card Thursday # 229...Christmas Catch up, was perfect as I'm definitely trying to get a few more whipped up.

I saw this little Boy and the Dog 018 digi stamp at Heather Ellis' Etsy shop and thought he was just SO cute that I had to have him.  I printed him out and coloured him with my Copics.

 photo PIBoyWarmWishes_edited-1RS3_zpsb9a53dbc.jpg

I made the card-base 6X6 from Kraft cardstock and used MFT Replenishments Heavyweight Card Stock in Red Hot, Olive, and Steel Blue, and Primitive White and used papers from MME Christmas Wish 6X6 paper pad.  I used the Pierced Oval STAX and Oval STAX Die-namics and added a border cut from Steel Blue Replenishments Heavyweight Card Stock cut with the Mini Double Dots Border Die-namics.

I cut the image out with the Oval STAX Die-namics, left the image in die and inked with Tumbled Glass and Tea Dye Distress Ink.  I add a few corrugated cardboard snowflakes with Red Hot Buttons tied with hemp cord. I cut out the snowflakes with the Let It Snowflake Die-namics. I stamped a sentiment from the PI Warm Wishes Stamp set in Red Hot Premium Dye Ink on the Stitched Sentiment Strip from Blueprints 2.

Here is the inside...again I used the Pierced Oval STAX and Oval STAX with the Layered Treat Tag Die-namics to make the sentiment panel.  The sentiment is from the PI Warm Winter Stamp set and stamped in Red Hot Premium Dye Ink.

Well, thanks SO much for stopping by and havin' a wee peek at another Christmas card with this cute Boy and the Dog 018 Digi from Heather Ellis Etsy shop for the Cute Card Challenge # 229...Christmas Catch Up Challenge!
