I am planning on attending as long as the weather cooperates...fingers crossed!!! I would love to see you there!!!  For the class lineup and to sign-up, go to The Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps website here!!! Can't wait to see you there!!!

Photobucket
I also made a card tonight for the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge # 111. They have a fantastic sketch by Krafty Girl, Nicole, and I have been dying to ink up, the super sweet, Bella, so I thought I would play along!!! I also made this card for the challenge over at BasicGrey Challenges, Something New...(I have used my new Mini Tab Die-namics Foursome and Bella is a new stamp).

I made my card base 6x6 from American Crafts cardstock and used BasicGrey Piccadilly 6x6 paper pad. I also used the Crown Die-namics border on my card. I coloured Bella with my Copics but I had some problems with my Neenah card bleeding. I am usually pretty happy with the results that I get with the Neenah cardstock. I guess it was a bad sheet or something. Well, this was the second image I coloured for this card and I was getting frustrated and tired, so, please don't look too closely at the colouring job on this one....no my best work.  I left the image in the die and inked with Old Paper Distress ink. The sentiment is a Melissa Frances rub-on. It is on white cardstock cut with one of the Mini Tab Die-namics Foursome.  I also added some bling, lot of Stickles and ribbon from my stash with a BasicGrey button.

Photobucket
Here is the inside...I stamped Bella again with Ladybug Red Memento ink and used a sentiment from Kimmie's Everyday Sentiment set.

Well, I really hope you can make it to the Guelph Mega Crop on Saturday and hang out with Kimmie, the Krafty Girls and me too!

Thanks for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card with this week's sketch at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge and for BG Challenges!

Hugs,

Pink Ink # 4, Just Magnolia # 121 and BG Challenges #51...Happiness!

Photobucket
Hi stampin' friends! This morning I have a card to share that I made yesterday for 3 challenges. I followed the great sketch that they have at Pink Ink Sketch Challenges by Cheri. I also played along with the Bingo Challenge at Just Magnolia and hAngler sTangler. I love Bingo Challenges and for my card I used the diagonal line, Gems, Flowers, Lace and Ribbon and finally I used some gorgeous BasicGrey Oxford 6x6 papers so I would like to enter my card in the Anything Goes Challenge at BasicGrey Challenges

I started out colouring up this image, Tilda Gone Fishing, using the No Black Lines technique that is everywhere in blogland and looks so gorgeous! It is really tough to do though and I ended up tossing the image in the bin it was so terrible. I will try again and hopefully I will end up with something worth putting on a card. I had to colour up another image of this sweet Tilda and went with lines this time, lol! I am not into fishing but for some reason I just adore this image. I coloured Tilda with my Copics and did that spotted background around her with some Warm Grey Copics. I also inked with Pumice Stone Distress ink.

Photobucket

I love the BasicGrey Oxford papers they are such beautiful papers and I love the colours. I used some Melissa Frances rub-ons for the sentiments and the one on the image says....A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work! I suppose that is true even if you aren't much into fishing, he, he, he. I added a few small flowers, some brown seam binding and cotton lace trim and a sprinkling of blue gems.
Photobucket
Here is the inside....pretty simple. The sentiment is from the MFT More Essential Sentiments set.

Well, Thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card!

Hope you have a stampin' great day!

BasicGrey Challenges # 47 and Magnolia Down Under Challenge # 102...Happy Birthday!!!

Photobucket
Me again! Yup, I am back with another card to share with you this morning! Today we have more fun challenges over at BasicGrey Challenges and at Magnolia Down Under Challenge. I thought I would combine my cards this week as the challenges went perfectly together! Over at BG Challenges we would like to see Stitching on your card or creation and at MDUC the challenge is Stitching and Swirls. Sounds like fun, eh!?

Well, I hope you can mange to squeeze in some stampin' time and join both challenges! Just remember that at BasicGrey Challenges you must use at least one BasicGrey product on you card or creation and please list that item in your post so it easy for the DT to see what BG product you have used as there are so many gorgeous BG products available now! Over at MDUC the requirement is to use a Magnolia stamped image on your creation ( it doesn't have to be Tilda or Edwin it can be an accessory stamp)!

If you join us at BasicGrey Challenges we have a fabulous prize....a random winner will be selected to receive a $25.00 gift voucher for the Simon Says Stamp Superstore....Whoo hoo!!!!!!
Photobucket
For my card I used BasicGrey Life of the party 6x6 papers. I stamped my stitiching with trusty and beloved Kelly Panacci Acrylic Stitching stamps. I stamped around the edges of the papers with Vintage Photo Distress ink. The image I used is this cute Tilda with Heart Package from the Magnolia Spring 2008 release. I think I have only inked her up once before, which, is a real shame as she is just soooooo cute! It's nice to use our older Tilda stamps too, isn't it!? So, I coloured her with my Copics, of course and cut the image out with my Nesties and inked with Spun Sugar Distress ink. I cut a smaller mat from red American Crafts cardstock with my glass mat and Fiskars Finger Tip Craft knife and cut around the outer edge of the die. The swirls were cut on my Silhouette Digical Craft Cutter and I added a few red half pearls on the swirls.  I tied some crinkled seam binding around the card and tied a double bow and added a BG button and some twine. The label sentiment is from Catslife Press stamped with Ladybug Memento Ink on Kraft cardstock and the other sentiment is a Melissa Frances Rub-on.

Well, thanks so much for swingin' by again and having a wee peek at my BG Challenges and MDUC card today! I hope you can join the challenges! Please pop by the challenge blogs and have a look at all the gorgeous inspiration by the BG and MDUC DTs too!

Have a Stampin' Great Day!

Here is the inspirational picture....so Let's get Fruity!!!!!

For my card this week I decide to use my new BasicGrey, Sweet Threads, 6x6 papers, painted brads and a Glazed Epoxy brad...such lovely fruity and summery colours in this collection...love it....my new fave BG papers, for now anyways, smile. Then I went in search of a stamp in my stash with fruit in it. I just so happened to have this absolutely adorable Belles N' Whistles stamp called Sunshine and Apples, on my desk and so I inked it up and coloured it with my Copic markers. I cut the image out with one of my older Nesties Label 1 that I haven't used in a while but it is one of my all time favourite label Nestie. I left the image in the die and inked with Spun Sugar Distress ink and I used my glass cutting mat and Fiskars Finger tip control craft knife to cut around the outer edge of the Nestie die to get the slim mat for my image.

Photobucket
I used a MFT Die-namics Scalloped Ribbon border die and also added some natural twill tape, some Prima flowers and a sprinkling of pink gems here and there. The sentiment is a Melissa Frances rub-on.

Thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card for this week's fruity Simon Says Stamp Challenge! Simon Says Stamp....Father's Day or Masculine card....I {Heart} My Daddy!

Photobucket

Good morning stampin' friends and Happy Hump day! Today I'm sharing the card that I made for the fun challenge that we have this week over at Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog! This week the DT is featuring Tim Holtz products and the challenge is to make a Father's Day card or a Masculine card! We would love to see what you create with your Tim Holtz products but it is not a requirement of the challenge.

As usual, Heidi, is offering up a fabulous $50.00 gift voucher for the Simon Says Stamp Superstore. I know you won't have any trouble spending the voucher in the superstore as it is full of gorgeous stamps and crafty supplies! I hope you get some time to make a Father's day or Masculine card and join us for the challenge!

For my card this week I used BasicGrey 6x6 Marjorline papers and this super cute Magnolia stamp called Brother and Sister from the Cozy Family collection. I decided to use this stamp as I thought that Tilda and Edwin could represent my kids, Hannah and Kieran and they can give this card to their Dad for Father's day! I'm so thankful that Chris is such an amazing and involved Father and a wonderful Hubby too...we are so lucky to have him!
Photobucket
So....back to my card....I stamped the papers with my Kelly Panacci stitching stamps with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress ink and inked all the edges of the papers with Vintage Photo Distress ink with my Ranger blending tool and foam pads. I LOVE the blending tool and foam pads and I LOVE  my Craft Spinner that I bought at Simon Says stamp Superstore to store them. I coloured Tilda and Edwin with my Copics and cut the image out with my Circle Netsies and then used a script stamp from a Tim Hotlz stamp set called Urban Grunge and stamped it with Tea Dye Distress ink around the edges of the image.  I also used my My Favorite Things Simply Scalloped border die. The sentiment is 2 different Melissa France rub-ons that I cut up and combined to make the perfect sentiment for my card. I added a stitched BasicGrey brad and then a few half pearls here and there.

Well, thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card! I really hope you can join us and I'm looking forward to see all you great Father's day or masculine cards! Also, swing by the Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog to see all the gorgeous cards that the DT have made to inspire you....then join us!!!!

Have a stampin' great day!

BasicGrey Challenges # 45 and Magnolia Down Under Challenge # 98...Cherish!

Photobucket
Hey stampin' friends! I am back with another card today.  I made this card for BasicGrey Challenges, which is, is Shabby Chic and at Magnolia Down Under Challenges, Kylie, has designed a gorgeous sketch for us to use! I will definitely be using this gorgeous sketch again, Kylie!!!

Once again we have a fabulous prize at BasicGrey Challenges. To be eligible for the generous $25.00  gift voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore you need to make a Shabby Chic project and use at least one BasicGrey product on your card or creation and indicate in your post what BG item you have used. For the MDUC challenge we ask that you use a Magnolia stamp on your creation and we have a wonderful prize up for grabs this week too from our very own talented Denise, a set of her new gorgeous papers!!!

Photobucket
For my card this week I used this sweet stamp, Tilda with Butterfly Jeans. She is just too cute for words! I coloured her with my Copics and cut her out and then pop-dotted her on the rectangle mat cut from a rectangle Nesties.  I used BasicGrey Cappella 6x6 papers and 3 painted BG brads but I am not sure which line they are from. I roughed up the edges of the papers with my Tim Holtz Paper Distressing tool and then pained the papers with Picket Fence Distress Crackle paint. I am really loving the gauze that I am seeing on so many gorgeous vintage and Shabby cards out there in blogland. So, I raided the first aid kit and used some gauze on this card for the first time and I love it....I spritzed it with Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Mist first and let it dry. I added some cotton lace trim, crinkled seam binding and I also used my Magnolia Tilda Lace border die. I pained the Prima flowers with the white crackle paint too and then added the BG brads to the centres. The butterflies are cut from QuicKutz cork material with my Martha Stewart Butterfly punch and then pained with white crackle paint. I added a few half pearls here and there. The sentiment is a Melissa Frances rub-on, on a tag cut with a QuicKutz tag die.

Well, thanks so much for popping by again to see my BG Challenges and MDUC Challenges card! I really hope you can join both challenges! Please visit the DTs too and check out the gorgeous creations that they have made to inspire you!

Happy stampin'!

Photobucket

Hey stampin' friends! Time for another fun challenge over at Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog! This week the challenge is Sparkle and Shine and the DT is featuring Tattered Angels/Glimmer Mist this week! We would love to see how you use your Glimmer Mist or any of the Tattered Angles products that you have in your stash on your creation but it is not a requirement....just make them cards and projects sparkle and shine!!!

Photobucket
So, for my card I used this pretty paper that has such a sweet country feel to it called Emma's Shoppe by Crate paper.  I also, inked up this adorable Tilda from the Butterfly Dreams collection called Hello Little Butterfly. I coloured the image with my Copics and cut it out and pop-dotted it on this fabulous doily that I cut out on my Silhouette Digital Craft Cutter. I love this doily and it looks so much like the My Favorite Things Dizzy Doily Die-namics too. I cut a Nestie circle for the middle of the doily from patterned paper and the sentiment is a Melissa Frances rub-on. To add to the country feel of this card I cut a denim Knee patch that I had in my stash with my My Favorite Things, Perfect Bracket Edge Die-namics border die. I added some Prima flowers and spritzed  them with Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Mist, which, unfortunately, doesn't show up in my pics but adds a nice sparkle IRL and this pretty ribbon also adds some shimmer! To finish this off I added a sprinkling of pretty soft green half pearls here and there.

Photobucket
Here is the inside...the sentiment is also a Melissa Frances Rub-on!

I have been dying to ink up this adorable image, Tilda holding egg basket, from the Butterfly Dreams collection. I stamped the grunge stamp with Memento Desert Sand ink around the image and I added some shading and grass with my Prismacolour pencils and odorless minerals spirits. To embellish I added Martha Stewart seam binding, Prima flowers with BasicGrey Hello Luscious painted brads and some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers. So for my card I made an easel card and I used my new fave BG Hello Luscious 6x6 paper pad.....I love this paper it is just so gorgeous!!! Sorry, but I think you will be seeing a lot of it over the next while, smile. I made this card for my friend and co-worker, Julie, it was her b-day this week and I wanted to make her a special card. I was so happy she liked it and I know her daughter Olivia will love it too as she is a big fan of Tilda.

I used this sweet Balloon Tilda from the You're So Special Collection. I coloured her with my Copics and I added Glossy Accents to the balloon. I also used a Melissa Frances rub-on and a Magnolia sentiment from the Butterfly Dreams collection. There is lots of bling on this card and I also added some crinkled seam binding and a BG button. Flowers are mix of Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts flowers. The sentiment on the bottom of the easel is from My Favorite Things, Die-namics Polka Dots Greetings die and stamp set.
