For my card I have used Lil' Spanish Lolita Willow. I absolutely love her to bits. I decided to paper piece her gorgeous dress. You might think it is too difficult to paper piece a digi image but it is actually quite easy to do. I just printed out a copy of Willow on regular copy paper after I printed her on the my Copic paper. I adhered the patterned paper from the My Minds Eye On the Bright Side 6x6 paper pad over the image on the copy paper with re-positional adhesive and then ran it through the printer again. Now that then image is printed on the patterned paper, I cut out the dress, inked the edges with chalk ink, added some shading with my Copic T1 marker, then I adhered it with 2 way liquid glue. I also coloured a second pair of Willow's hands and cut them out and adhered them over the patterned paper dress.  I love adding some sparkle to my images with my Sakura Stardust pen and I just spread it around with my finger to soften the sparkle.  I cut the MFT Jumbo Monarch Border Die-namics die from Kraft cardstock but I used the negative portion of the die this time as it is as pretty as the positive. To embellish I added some cotton lace trim, Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, some twine and a smattering of half pearls, here and there.

Photobucket
Here is the inside....I re-sized Willow and printed her on the white cardstock. I used another sentiment from the MFT Finishing Flourishes set and used the Layered Labels Die-namics and the Clearly Sentimental label Die-namics.

Well, thanks SO much for hopping by to see my card with Lil' Lolita Spanish Willow. Please hop on over to Yani's blog and see what wonderful inspiration she has in store for you! Then be sure to pop by the Tickled Pink Stamps shop where all the March Lil' Lolitas are now available!

Hope you have a crafty day!!!
Hugs,

La-La Land Crafts...Inspiration Friday...The Great Outdoors!

Photobucket
I am back with my second post for today and my very first La-La Land Crafts card....Whoo-hoo!! I'm super happy with how this card turned out too. I got this adorable Capri Marci and two other Marci stamps from Lora at One Crazy Stamper. She had a few La-La Land stamps on sale and I have been SO tempted by Inge and Jo's gorgeous La-La Land creations that I just couldn't resist these CUTE stamps any longer.

I made this card for the La-La Land Crafts blog Friday Inspiration Theme...The Great Outdoors. Since I only have a few La-La Land stamps to pick from I decided to use Capri Marci and created a bit of an outdoor scene around her with QuicKutz and MFT Die-namics. The Sentiment is from MFT Great Outdoors Sentiments Set.
Photobucket
I used more gorgeous MME Miss Caroline paper this time from the Dolled Up 6x6 paper pad. I coloured Marci with my Copics and cut her out and sat her on some grass cut with a QuicKutz 2x2 die. The clouds, tent and tress are also QuicKutz 2x2 dies. I am glad I got to use them and really should try and use them more often since I have so many from my scrapbooking days. I used several MFT Die-namics dies here too...they will be down at the bottom in my supplies list. I embellished with some lace trim, hemp twine, white half pearls, and some Wild Orchid Crafts cherry blossoms.
Photobucket
Here is the inside...I stamped Capri Marci with Lady Bug Memento ink and used another sentiment from the MFT The Great Outdoors stamp set.

Well, thanks SO much for stopping by again and having a wee peek at my very first La-La Land Crafts card. I have a feeling this won't be my last...oh boy, just what I need another stamp addiction, lol!

Hugs,

So for my card I made an easel card and I used my new fave BG Hello Luscious 6x6 paper pad.....I love this paper it is just so gorgeous!!! Sorry, but I think you will be seeing a lot of it over the next while, smile. I made this card for my friend and co-worker, Julie, it was her b-day this week and I wanted to make her a special card.
