Funko Pop! Quidditch Harry & Spider-Man

Hello Stampin' friends! It has been a very long time since I've made a card and posted it here on my blog but I thought I would share two cards that I made recently for a friend at work. She recently shared with me her obsession with collecting Funko Pop! figurines (I can see why...they are SO cute) and her LOVE of Harry Potter Funko Pop!

This got my crafty senses working and and I wondered if I could find a Funko Pop! digital stamp or image so I could make my friend a Funko Pop! Harry Potter card. I did a quick google search and discovered these super cute Funko Pop! colouring pages HERE. Quidditch Harry and Spider-Man were exactly what I was looking for!

I resized the image to fit my card, printed Quidditch Harry on Neenah Solar White Cardstock and coloured him up with my Copics. I cut him out with MFT Stamps Rectangle STAX and left the image in the die and inked with Mustard Seed Distress ink. I also did the "Ink Smooshing" technique with various Tim Holtz Distress inks to create the background paper. I used my Reverse Confetti All Framed Up Confetti Cuts cut from RC Salsa Cardstock. I embellished with some grey Hemp cord and Your Next Stamp gold sparkly Gumdrops!  I printed the sentiment with the free Harry P font from DaFont.com and cut it out with the the Reverse Confetti Bitty Banners Confetti Cuts and inked with Mustard Seed Distress ink

I finished the inside of the card too. I resized Quidditch Harry and printed him out on Neenah Solar White Cardstock to create a shadow image and then cut the card panel from MFT Blueprints #11. I used the Harry P font to create the sentiment with a Harry Potter movie quote that I found on Pinterest. I cut out the printed sentiment with MFT Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics and inked it with Mustard Seed Distress ink and layered it with the MFT Layered Treat Bag Die-namics

I had so much fun making the Funko Pop! Quidditch Harry card that I made another card with Funko Pop! Spider-Man. This card is for her great-grandson's upcoming 2nd birthday!

Again, I resized Spider-man, printed him on Neenah Solar White Cardstock and coloured him with my Copics. I fussy cut around the image and popped it up on the Reverse Confetti Web Tag Layer Confetti Cuts cut from silver glitter cardstock. I created some background paper using the "Ink Smooshing" technique with Tim Holtz Distress inks and used the Reverse Confetti All Framed up Confetti Cuts for the stitched border cut from RC Brick Cardstock

I tied the tag with grey Hemp Twine and embellished with some YNS Red Gumdrops. I stamped a sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Tie-rific Stamp set with Stephanie Barnard ColorBox Premium Dye ink in Blueberry and cut the sentiment out with the MFT Stitched Sentiment Strips

I tried to recreate the texture/dimension on the eyes of the actual Funko Pop! Spider-man figurine and used my Gelly Roll Glitter Pen in Clear Star to get the desired effect.

I finished the inside of this card with another printed shadow image. I was able to personalize it using an old QuicKutz 2X2 Olivia Unicase Alphabet Die Set and stamped a sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Whole Lotta Happy Sentiment Stamp Set

Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a little look at the cards I made with the Funko Pop! Colouring page images.

My Favorite Things...MFT Color Challenge 138 & Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge...You're a Good Egg!

Hello Stampin' friends!!! It has been a very long time since I have made a card and posted here on my blog but I have been staying home and self-isolating/social distancing, like everyone one else, during the COVID19 pandemic. We finally got around to giving my craftroom a refresh with a coat of paint. We had this mini-reno in the works for a while but hadn't got around to it. So, we finally did it! Chris painted and hung up the pegboard that my Dad made for me and my Mum painted it. I love it!!! Everyone did a great job! Scroll down to see some craftroom pics.

So, I made this card with this adorable MFT Somebunny Sweet Pure Innocence stamp. I think she is retired now but this is my first time inking her up. I made this card with the pretty color pallet for the MFT Color Challenge 138.  I am also entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. They have a beautiful spring mood board for inspiration.

I made my card with MFT Heavyweight Cardstock in Primitive White, Razzle Berry, Blu Raspberry and Reverse Confetti Sunshine Cardstock

I coloured the Somebunny Sweet Pure Innocence with my Copic markers and I created a little scene with the flower accessories stamp from the Mud Buddies Pure Innocence Stamp set. I cut the image with my MFT Rectangle STAX Die-namics and did some inking with Distress ink in Tumbled Glass  and Mowed Lawn.

I made the scalloped frames cut from Primitive White Heavyweight Cardstock with the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge Frames Die-namics. I stamped the background with Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink on Primitive White Cardstock with Crosshatch Background Stamp.

I stamped a sentiment from the Somebunny Sweet Pure Innocence Stamp set and embellished with some stamped and copic-colored eggs from the same set, cut with the coordinating Somebunny Sweet Die-namics. I wrapped the stitched sentiment strip with some hemp twine and added a sprinkling of Your Next Stamp sparkly Gumdrops.

I finished the inside of my Somebunny Sweet Pure Innocence card too. I stamped a shadow image of the PI girl and her little friend with Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink and stamped another sweet sentiment from the set with Black Licorice Hybrid Ink. I created a layered sentiment with my favorite Layered Treat  Tag Die-namics.

And as promised here are some pics of my craftroom...paint colour is Benjamin Moore Coventry Grey.

My room is very small but it works for me and I love having a dedicated space and everything close by and I love being able to close the door on a crafty mess!

The baskets are from Michaels and I just punched a hole with my Crop-A-Dile and hung them on the pegboard hooks. I plan on hanging stamps and dies that I want to use on a specific project or that are NEW so that I remember what I have and use them.

My Dad made these shelves a long time ago but they weren't painted...so when Chris took them down to paint the walls and painted them white. They look great white!

Thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my my spring/easter card with the adorable Pure Innocence Somebunny Sweet Stamp set for the MFT Color Challenge # 138

Reverse Confetti - Color Throwdown #514, RC Stock Your Stash Challenge & Freshly Made Sketches # 358...Nuts About You

Hello stampin' friends! I made some time this weekend to make a card. I was inspired by the fabulous color combo that they have over at the Color Throwdown # 514 and I also used the great sketch that they have at Freshly Made Sketches #358. I stocked my Reverse Confetti Stash and used the adorable RC Nuts About You Stamp set for this friendship themed card, perfect for the RC October Stock Your Stash Challenge.

I used Reverse Confetti Tangerine Cardstock and MFT Heavyweight Cardstock in Milk Chocolate, Kraft and Whip Cream

I created the watercoloured background with Fossilized Amber, Wild Honey, Brushed Courduroy, Aged Mahogany and Walnut Stain Distress ink using the "Smooshing" Technique. I cut the smooshed paper with the RC Stitched Rays Cover Panel. I layered the main circle panel by cutting the Chocolate Brown Heavyweight Cardstock with the Pierced Circle STAX Die-namics and Circle STAX Die-namics and I also used the Wreaths Confetti Cuts

I colored up the adorable little critters from the Nuts About You Stamp set with my Copics, cut them out with the coordinating Nuts About You Confetti Cuts and then popped them up on the trio of small circle as per the sketch.  I stamped a sentiment from the RC Most Beauty Stamp Set with Milk Chocolate Premium Dye Ink on the main panel. I embellised with some American Crafts Twine and Your Next Stamp Rainbow Sparkle Gumdrops

I finished up the inside of my card too with a sentiment from the RC Pattern Blocks Stamp Set and I stamped a shadow image of the squirrel from the Nuts About You Stamp Set. Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a little look at my card for the RC October Stock Your Stash Challenge,  CTD # 514 and FMS # 358.

Reverse Confetti - Color Throwdown # 478 & Sketch Saturday # 498...Smitten Mittens

Hello stampin' friends! I always LOVE the great colour combos that they have at the Color Throwdown and this week's CTD478 is no exception! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this FUN colour combo and I am beyond thrilled to be the Featured Stamper and get to join the AMAZING CTD Crew!

I used MFT Heavyweight Cardstock in Smooth White, Sour Apple, and Banana Split and I used MFT Premium Dye Ink in Razzle Berry and Sour Apple. I also used Distress Oxide Inks in Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron, Broken China and Fossilized Amber
I also took inspiration from the FAB Saturday Sketch # 498

 photo CTD478E_edited-RS5_zpsoe9a4lwa.jpg

When I saw the inspirational photo with the fun colour combo that they have for the CTD478 this week I pulled out my Reverse Confetti Smitten Mittens Stamp set. I thought this stamp set with the CTD color combo would make the perfect "punny" Valentine's Day card. I stamped the mittens with MFT Premium Dye Ink in Razzle Berry and Sour Apple and cut them out with the coordinating Smitten Mittens Confetti Cuts.

 photo CTD478B_edited-RS2_zpswmokmily.jpg

I also did a little inking with Distress Oxide Inks on Bristol paper to create the vibrant background with all the colours and added some shimmery splotches with Tattered Angles Shimmering Diamonds

 photo CTD478_edited-RS1_zpsgxpzrhsd.jpg

The mittens are layered over the Reverse Confetti Lacy Scallop Circles Confetti Cuts and I used a sentiment from the NEW Reverse Confetti Heart Filled Sentiments Stamp Set stamped on Smooth White Heavyweight Card cut out with the MFT Dimensional Banners Die-namics.  I replaced the word "heart" in the sentiment with a stamped heart from the RC Unicorn Wishes Stamp set.

 photo CTD478C_zpskupdljs3.jpg
I finished the inside of my card too...I added another pair of mittens from the Reverse Confetti Smitten Mittens Stamp set and a sentiment from the Heart Filled Sentiments Stamp set.
Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a little look at my Valentine's Day card for the CTD478 and the Saturday Sketch Challenge # 489. I hope you can make some time to get crafty and join the Color Throwdown # 478 this week!

My Favorite Things...MFTWSC368 & CTD476 - Thanks Snow Much

Hello stampin' friends! I can't believe this is the my first post of 2018...one of my new year's resolutions was to do a little more stamping, card-making and blogging, than I did last year. I'm going to have to step it up! Well, I'm glad I carved out a little crafty time today to play with this NEW Pure Innocence Stamp set Blowing Kisses. I love this little girl and really enjoyed making a PI card again...missed her.

I made my card with the fun sketch, MFTWSC368, that they have on MFT Challenge blog. I flipped the sketch to better accommodate by image.

I also used the pretty color combo from the Color Throwdown 476 and was inspired by the inspirational photo to make a "snowy" card.

I used MFT Heavyweight Cardstock in Chocolate Brown, Natural and Reverse Confetti Heavyweight Cardstock in Mist and Cloud White

 photo MFTWSC368B_edited-RS1_zps0x0ujdop.jpg
I colored up the sweet NEW Pure Innocence girl, Blowing Kisses, with my Copics and paper pieced her dress with patterned paper. I thought instead of blowing kisses she could be blowing some snowflakes....perfect for my snowflake themed card. I used some chunky glass glitter adhered to the palms of her hands. I don't have the MFT Stitched Mod Rectangle STAX so I swapped it out for the MFT Stitched Rounded Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I made a frame with the set and layered it over the pretty snowflake patterned paper from the Simple Stories Winter Wonderland 6X6 paper pad.

I stamped a sentiment from the retired MFT Pure Innocence stamp set, Thanks Snow Much, from my stash and heat embossed it with AC Zing White Embossing powder and layered the sentiment strip over the circle element cut with the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics and the Circle STAX Die-namics. Surprisingly, I kept this card rather clean and simple...I wasn't trying, it just kind of happened but I did add a few YNS white sparkly Gumdrops.

I finished off the inside of my card too...I stamped a shadow image with MFT Chocolate Brown Premium Dye Ink and I added another white embossed sentiment from the Pure Innocence Stamp set Warm Wishes.
Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a little look at my Pure Innocence Blowing Kisses Card for the MFTWSC268 and the Color Throwdown # 476.

Reverse Confetti - Warm Winter Wishes

Hello stampin' friends! I'm popping by to share a card I made today with the NEW Reverse Confetti Happy Winter Stamp set and Happy Winter Confetti Cuts. I also used the Scalloped Squares Confetti Cuts

I used MFT Heaveyweight Cardstock in Kraft, Steel Blue, Smooth White and Whip Cream

 photo RCHappyWinterB_edited-RS2_zpszocc74uf.jpg
I've been on Pinterest swooning over, chuckling at and pinning letterboards. I've totally fallen in love with letterboards, so, I wanted to make my own little "letterboard" for my card. I  wasn't able to get my hands on any corrugated felt so I decided to paint some Kraft corrugated cardstock with grey craft paint. I let it dry and then cut it out with my MFT Square STAX Die-namics and cut out the little letters from MFT Whip Cream Heavyweight Cardstock with the MFT LLD Little Letters Die-namics.
 photo RCHappyWinterF_edited-RS7_zpsh58ayorq.jpg

I framed my "letterboard" with the NEW Scallop Square Confetti Cuts and stamped the toque and nordic snowflakes from the Happy Winter Stamp set on Smooth White Heavyweight Cardstock with MFT Steel Blue and Timber Green Premium Dye Ink. I embellished with some steel grey hemp twine and sparkly white Gumdrops

 photo RCHappyWinterD_edited-RS4_zpsiwucqbz7.jpg

I finished off the inside of my card too....I added another Scallop Square frame and used the large tag from the Tag Duo Confetti Cuts. I stamped a sentiment from Sentimental Christmas Stamp set.

Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a little look at my little "letterboard" card with the Reverse Confetti Happy Winter Stamp set and Scallop Square Confetti Cuts

My Favorite Things - MFTWSC360 & Color Challenge 82...Warmest Wishes

Hello stampin' friends! I'm quickly stopping by with a card for the My Favorite Things Stamps Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch challenge # 360 and the MFT Color Challenge # 82. I used the Winter Warmth Stamp Set and coordinating Winter Warmth Die-namics to make a non-traditional Christmas card.

I made a 5X5 square card and used Blueprints 14. I flipped the sketch around so I could put the sentiment at the top of the card.

 photo MFTWSC360C_edited-RS3_zps38qmezcq.jpg
I used the rounded corner panel from the Blueprints 14 cut from Natural Heavyweight Card Stock and stencilled with Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink with the Reverse Confetti Pointed Out Stencil. I cut two mitred corner strips from yellow sparkly card stock and then clustered the various stamped images from Winter Warmth Stamp set along the strips.
 photo MFTWSC360G_edited-RS8_zpsc1tzblgp.jpg
I stamped a white embossed sentiment from the Hug in a Mug Stamp Set on Neutral Heavyweight Card Stock cut with the fishtail flag from Blueprints 12. I tied the sentiment panel with coral hemp twine and embellished with coral enamel dots. I flicked on some little white splatters with watered-down Sweet Tooth Pigment ink.
 photo MFTWSC360F_edited-RS6_zpshxqrtelg.jpg
And I finished off the inside of my card too...I added another white embossed sentiment from the Hug in a Mug Stamp set popped it up on the Layered Treat Tag Die-namics and I added a few more stamped images from the Winter Warmth Stamp set
