My Favourite Things Stamps...MFTWSC617...A La Mode - Polished to Perfection!

Hello Stampin' friends! Made a card today for the My Favorite Things Stamps Sketch Challenge MFTWSC617! My daughter asked me to make a thank you card for her nail/artist. This A La Mode Polished to Perfection girl was perfect.

I used MFT Heavyweight Cardstock in Cotton Candy, Sour Apple, and Sno Cone and teamed it up with this BasicGrey Fresh Cuts patterned paper that I have had in my stash forever!

I coloured the Polished to Perfect girl with my Copics, paper pieced her outfit adhered her to the Stitched Circles cut with the STAX Stitched Circles and STAX Circles 1 and STAX Circles 2. I also cut a flower from Perfect Petals Trio Die-namics. I stamped a sentiment from the Polished to Perfection Stamp set and cut it out of Solar White Cardstock with the Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics

I finished off the inside of my card and stamped a shadow image of the Polished to Perfection girl and stamped a sentiment from the A La Mode Blue without You Stamp set with

Funko Pop! Quidditch Harry & Spider-Man

Hello Stampin' friends! It has been a very long time since I've made a card and posted it here on my blog but I thought I would share two cards that I made recently for a friend at work. She recently shared with me her obsession with collecting Funko Pop! figurines (I can see why...they are SO cute) and her LOVE of Harry Potter Funko Pop!

This got my crafty senses working and and I wondered if I could find a Funko Pop! digital stamp or image so I could make my friend a Funko Pop! Harry Potter card. I did a quick google search and discovered these super cute Funko Pop! colouring pages HERE. Quidditch Harry and Spider-Man were exactly what I was looking for!

I resized the image to fit my card, printed Quidditch Harry on Neenah Solar White Cardstock and coloured him up with my Copics. I cut him out with MFT Stamps Rectangle STAX and left the image in the die and inked with Mustard Seed Distress ink. I also did the "Ink Smooshing" technique with various Tim Holtz Distress inks to create the background paper. I used my Reverse Confetti All Framed Up Confetti Cuts cut from RC Salsa Cardstock. I embellished with some grey Hemp cord and Your Next Stamp gold sparkly Gumdrops!  I printed the sentiment with the free Harry P font from DaFont.com and cut it out with the the Reverse Confetti Bitty Banners Confetti Cuts and inked with Mustard Seed Distress ink

I finished the inside of the card too. I resized Quidditch Harry and printed him out on Neenah Solar White Cardstock to create a shadow image and then cut the card panel from MFT Blueprints #11. I used the Harry P font to create the sentiment with a Harry Potter movie quote that I found on Pinterest. I cut out the printed sentiment with MFT Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics and inked it with Mustard Seed Distress ink and layered it with the MFT Layered Treat Bag Die-namics

I had so much fun making the Funko Pop! Quidditch Harry card that I made another card with Funko Pop! Spider-Man. This card is for her great-grandson's upcoming 2nd birthday!

Again, I resized Spider-man, printed him on Neenah Solar White Cardstock and coloured him with my Copics. I fussy cut around the image and popped it up on the Reverse Confetti Web Tag Layer Confetti Cuts cut from silver glitter cardstock. I created some background paper using the "Ink Smooshing" technique with Tim Holtz Distress inks and used the Reverse Confetti All Framed up Confetti Cuts for the stitched border cut from RC Brick Cardstock

I tied the tag with grey Hemp Twine and embellished with some YNS Red Gumdrops. I stamped a sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Tie-rific Stamp set with Stephanie Barnard ColorBox Premium Dye ink in Blueberry and cut the sentiment out with the MFT Stitched Sentiment Strips

I tried to recreate the texture/dimension on the eyes of the actual Funko Pop! Spider-man figurine and used my Gelly Roll Glitter Pen in Clear Star to get the desired effect.

I finished the inside of this card with another printed shadow image. I was able to personalize it using an old QuicKutz 2X2 Olivia Unicase Alphabet Die Set and stamped a sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Whole Lotta Happy Sentiment Stamp Set

Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a little look at the cards I made with the Funko Pop! Colouring page images.

My Favourite Things....MFTWSC483 and CTD587...Heartfelt Thanks!

Hello stampin' friends! I spent the weekend #stayinghome and getting crafty! I made these sweet cards with the MFT Birdie Brown Free Digital Download that they have available on the MFT blog. Theses Birdie Brown stamp sets and sentiments are SOOO sweet!!! I used the fabulous colour combo over at the Color Throwdown # 587 and used the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge # 483

Love this great sketch and used MFT Heavyweight Cardstock in Kraft, Bubblegum, Spearmint and Steel Grey

I recently got a new printer and I wasn't sure if the ink would be compatible with my Copic markers so when I downloaded the free Birdie Brown digital images it was a chance to test it out. I had my fingers crossed!

I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have any problems with the printer ink smudging or bleeding with my new HP Officejet 3830 printer. I printed this image on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cover stock and coloured this sweet nurse from the the MFT Birdie Brown Call the Shots digital download and cut out a sentiment too. I stamped the tiny open heart from the Reverse Confetti Unicorn Wishes on the nurses' chart and coloured in the image with my Copics.

For this card I used the Rounded Banner STAX Die-namics for the arched panel that the sketch calls for and I created a window. I also used the two different nesting sizes in the STAX set to make a frame from Kraft Heavyweight Card stock. I stamped a background with the Make Your Mark Background Stamp with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink on Smooth White Cardstock.  I embellished with some twine and sparkly YNS gumdrops.

I finished the inside of the card too. I simply used the positive die from the Rounded Banner STAX Die-namics and made a tag. I layered another sentiment too.

I made a second card with the same layout with the Birdie Brown Super Hero in Scrubs Digital Download. I fussy cut the images out and popped him up on the Rounded Banner STAX Die-namics window. I used the Make Your Mark Background stamp again (love it) with Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Ink.

I embellished with some hemp cord and a sprinkling of YNS pink gumdrops. I stamped a heart on his chart too.

And I finished the inside of the card too. I simply used the positive die from the Rounded Banner STAX Die-namics and made a tag. I layered another sentiment too.
Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a little look at my cards for the MFTWSC438 and the Color Throwdown # 587 with the MFT Free Birdie Brown Digital Downloads that are on the MFT Blog.

Reverse Confetti - Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Party Time...Snow Bunnies

Merry Christmas stampin' friends! I made some time to make a card with some new Reverse Confetti Stamps and Confetti Cuts. I am SO glad that I did! I realized how much I miss getting crafty and really enjoyed the creative process. I hope to get back at it on a more regular basis in 2019.  So for my card today I used the super cute NEW Snow BunniesStamp set, coordinating Snow Bunnies Confetti Cuts and the Snow Balls Cover Panel Confetti Cuts.
For my card I used Reverse Confetti Card Stock in Cloud White, Aqua, Lime Green  and MFT Kraft and Sno Cone Cardstock

I am entering my card in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Party Time! So for my card I envisioned the Snow Bunnies are having a FUN skate party ;)

So, I'm a slow poke when I am making a card so it really speeds up my creative process when I already have inked background paper on hand...just love when a card comes together (relatively) quickly. I found this inked background paper in my stash that I had made for another project and didn't use. The Bristol card stock was ink blended with Distress Oxide Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers Inks. I cut it with the NEW Reverse Confetti Snowballs Cover Panel and layered it over a panel of Reverse Confetti Cloud White Card stock.

I coloured the skating snow bunnies with my copics, cut them out with the coordinating Snow Bunnies Confetti Cuts and created a little winter scene with the MFT Tree Lines Die-namics that I cut from a scrap of the same Distress Inked card stock. I also cut the stitched scalloped border from the MFT Blueprints 23. The larger cloud is from the Snow Bunnies Stamp set and the smaller matching cloud is from the RC/Simon Says Stamp Forest Friends Stamp set.

I framed the scene with the wonky stitched frame from the All Framed Up Confetti Cuts. I stamped a sentiment from the Snow Bunnies Stamp set on a stitched fishtail banner. I added some American Crafts twine and Your Next Stamps Gumdrops.

I finished up the inside of my cards...I stamped a shadow image from the Snow Bunnies Stamp set in Reverse Confetti Lime Green Ink and stamped a sentiment from the Sentimental Christmas Stamp set on Cloud card stock cut with the Tag Duo Confetti Cuts.

Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a little look at my Snow Bunnies Christmas Skate Party card with the adorable skating snow bunnies.  I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas day with family and friends!

I have been having a lot of fun with my Distress Oxide inks and used them to make a blended background for this card with a pretty spring colour pallet. I sprinkled on some water to the inked background to get those fun water splotches. I just adore the NEW Your Next Stamp Music Chicks Stamp setI coloured the various chicks up with my Copics, cut them out with the coordinating Music Chicks Dies and popped them up on the Window panel. I stamped this fun sentiment from the Music Chicks Stamp set with Your Next Stamp Premium Dye Ink in Black Olive

I really LOVE the NEW Window Panel Die...definitely a must-have...SO many possibilities and the stitched detail adds such a great finishing touch to the card. The grass is cut with the retired YNS Spring Grass die but you can get the same look with the Stitched Grass Die. If you've visited my blog before you know I have a serious addiction to YNS Gumdrops...I added a sprinkling of Magical Pastel Sparkly Gumdrops on this card.

Color Throwdown # 469 & Reverse Confetti SFYTT # 54 - Beary Christmas

Hello stampin' friends! I'm glad I found some time this weekend to make this card with my Reverse Confetti Bearing Gifts Stamp set for the Color Throwdown Challenge # 649...such a gorgeous colour combo! I used the November Reverse Confetti Sketch for You To Try # 54 again....love, love, love this versatile sketch too!

I used Reverse Confetti Card Stock in Navy and Baby Blue and MFT Heavyweight Card Stock in Grout Grey.  I also used Distress Ink in Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans and Black Soot
Here is the fabulous Reverse Confetti SFYTT # 54!

I used the "smooshing technique" on watercolour paper with Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans and Black Soot Distress ink and then cut it out with the Gift Card Holder Tag Confetti Cuts and cut a second tag from Navy Cardstock then stamped and embossed a sentiment from the Bearing Gifts Stamp set.

I colored up the sweet Bearing Gifts bear and the mountains with my Copics and stamped several trees on the "smooshed" watercolor paper. I popped the bear up on the Navy Scalloped circle cut with the Pop Up Circle Confetti Cuts. I cut everything out with the coordinating Bearing Gifts Confetti Cuts.  Finally, embellishing with Navy hemp twine and sparkly silver YNS Gumdrops.

I finished the inside of my card too....I stamped a shadow image of the Bearing Gifts bear in Steel Grey Premium Dye Ink and embossed another sentiment from the stamp set cut with the Tall Tag Trio Confetti Cuts

Curtain Call Challenge May 1- Flutter and Midweek Magnolia Challenge - Hello, My Friend

Hello Stampin' friends! Welcome to the May 1st Curtain Call Challenge - Flutter! This is a FUN challenge with lots of possibilities. I decided to ink up this sweet Magnolia stamp Okay Tilda from the Lovely Emojis collection and thought she needed a friend to "flutter" by, so I stamped a Magnolia butterfly accessory stamp that I had in my Maggie stamp stash. I was also inspired by the pretty colours in the inspirational photo and went with a favourite colour combo grey and yellow with the addition of the lilac. I am entering my Okay Tilda card in the Midweek Magnolia Challenge # 163 Favourite Colours

Here is the May 1st - Flutter photo for your inspiration or anything goes

 photo CurtainCallMay1_edited-RS2_zps55vjpjg2.jpg
I made my card inspired by some of the colours from the inspirational photo with MFT Grout Grey, Steel Grey, Banana Split, Grapesicle and Lavender Fields Heavyweight Cardstock. I also did some "smooshing" again to make the watercoloured background paper. I "smooshed" with Shaded Lilac and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink. I coloured Okay Tilda with my Copics, cut the image out with my Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics, left the image in the die and inked with Squeezed Lemonade and Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Friend Like You Stamp set on Grout Grey Heavyweight Cardstock cut with a Your Next Stamp Stitched Fishtail Tags Die. I tied the tag with some Hemp Cord and added a sprinkling of Grey Your Next Stamp Gumdrops.

Thank SO much for stopping by and havin' a little look at my card for the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - May 1- Flutter and the Midweek Magnolia Challenge # 163! I hope you can join this FUN challenge!
