Reverse Confetti...DS # 157 & CTD # 298...Happy Birthday Wishes!

Hello stampin' friends! I'm enjoying the start of my week-long summer stay-cay!!! I'm SO glad that we were able, with the help of friends and family, to get the new sod laid in the backyard...we literally had our own little jungle of weeds happening back there...it was crazy! Now we finally have a beautiful lush green lawn and we are able to sit in the backyard, relax and enjoy the summer!

I had a little time today to make a card and thought I would join the fabulous Deconstructed Sketch. The sketch inspired me to get my Reverse Confetti Petals 'N Posies Stamp set out!

I used this pretty colour swatch that they have over at the Color Throwdown # 298 with MFT Replenishments Heavyweight Card Stock  in Kraft, Grapesicle, Pink Lemonade and Smooth White

To create the cluster of flowers I cut the Reverse Confetti Petals 'n Posies Confetti Cuts from Grapescile and Pink Lemonade Heavyweight Card Stock and stamped with MFT Premium Dye Ink in Grapescilce, Pink Lemonade, Grape Jelly and Cotton Candy. The leaves were cut from Kraft Heavyweight Card Stock and stamped in Kraft Premium Dye Ink.

The sentiment panel is cut with the Reverse Confetti Label Me Confetti Cuts from Smooth White Heavyweight Card Stock and I stamped the polka dot border from the Label Me Stamp Set in Grape Jelly Premium Dye Ink and the sentiment in Chocolate Brown Premium Dye Ink.  I embellished the flowers with some grape AC Hemp cord and half pearls.

I finished off the inside of my card too...I added another cluster of pretty Petals 'n Posies made with the Petals 'n Posies Stamp set and Confetti Cuts. The sentiment is from the All About You Stamp set

Thanks SO much for stopping by and havin' a wee peek at the card I made with my Reverse Confetti Stamps and Confetti Cuts with the great DS sketch # 157 and the pretty colour combo over at the Color Throwdown # 298!

Here is the great sketch that I used - MFTWSC181

I have been neglecting my Pure Innocence girls...so it was time to make a PI card. This little cutie Pure Innocence Love Is In The Air hadn't seen ink yet. I coloured her up with my Copics and paper pieced her dress, cut her out and popped her up on the circle panel. I made the card with MFT Replenishments Heavyweight Card Stock in Wild Cherry, Nightshift Blue, Cotton Candy and Sweet Tooth. The cute pattern paper is Pink Paislie Pen Pals 6X6 collection.

I added a few flowers with the flower Die-namics from Blueprints 12 and Pretty Posies Die-namics and stamped a sentiment in Nightshift Blue Premium Dye ink on a tag cut from Sweet Tooth Heavyweight Card Stock and tied with some Navy AC Hemp cord. I added a few white Gumdrops to the centers of the flowers.

I finished off the inside of the card too...I stamped a shadow image of the PI Love Is In The Air girl in Wild Cherry Premium Dye Ink and stamped another sentiment in Nightshift Premium Dye Ink.

Thanks for stopping by and havin' a little look at the card I made for the MFTWSC181 sketch challenge!
