My Favorite Things Stamps...WSC # 50....You Are a Gift!

Photobucket
Hey Stampin' Friends! Well, I think this will be my final card for 2011!  We are going away for the holidays...Whoo Hoo!!!! Tomorrow we're celebrating our family Christmas dinner at my parent's house since we won't be here on Christmas day! My brother is bringing his new girlfriend too and we are all very excited to meet Kate for the first time!

Well, I had a few more Christmas cards to make before we go and so I thought I would get sketchy with this week's MFTWSC # 50! I flipped the sketch as I wanted to use this sweet PI stamp set called PI Girl and Baby. I wanted to make a baby's First Christmas card for my friend and co-worker, Jen! She is off on Maternity leave with her new sweet little baby boy ( I got to hold him the other day too...SO precious) and so this little PI girl reminded me of her daughter holding her new baby brother!
Photobucket
I used these gorgeous papers from my Authentique Wonder 6x6 pad and Bazzill cardstock. I used my Clearly Sentiment Label Die-namics and Oval Nesties to create my own "layered label" in keeping with the sketch. I stamped one of the sentiments that comes with the PI Girl and Baby set on Kraft cardstock cut with the File Tab Die-namics. I coloured the little PI girl with my Copics and paper pieced her out-fit and the blanket.
Photobucket
Here is the inside of the card...I stamped two sentiments from the Clearly Sentimental about Christmas set.

Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my MFTWSC # 50 card and thank you so much for visiting my blog this year! I truly appreciate all of the SWEET comments!!! I hope everyone has a great Christmas with family and friends....and I hope Santa brings you lots of crafty and stamping goodies, smile!!!

More Magnolia Christmas cards!!!

Photobucket

Hello stampin' friends! I am back with a few more Maggie Christmas cards to share! I have been keeping them simple and basically the same layout with just a few changes here and there!  These cards are all with My Minds Eye Season's Greetings 6x6 paper pad and I just LOVE this pad! I have also used several MFT die-namics dies on these cards and sentiments from my MFT PI and ALM sets as well!
Photobucket
This card is with Tilda with Snow Heart...gosh I just love her to bits. I coloured her with my Copics, of course! I added liquid applique to for the snow and Stickles for some sparkle. I used my Faux Crochet Die-namics border die and Cappuccino Twinery Twine. I also used this great Bazzill Two Scoops Cardstock that is embossed and when sanded the inside core is a coordinating colour.
Photobucket
This is Holly Tilda and I think she is so sweet! I coloured her with my Copics and cut the image out with my Nesties and inked with Spun Sugar. I added some white half-pearls and I used my Wonky Border Die-namics. I added some felt ribbon and used a one of the sentiments from my MFT Holiday Hugs PI set on Kraft cardstock cut with the Oval Tab Die-namics.
Photobucket
For this card I used Tilda with Christmas Baking....such a cutie!!! I coloured her with my Copics and cut her out and pop dotted her on the Oval panel that was cut with my Decorative Doily Oval Die-namics. The sentiment is from a ALM set and is stamped on cardstock cut with the ribbon for the First Place Awards Ribbon Die-namics. I also used my open Scallop border Die-namics, some ribbon form my stash and Prima flowers with MME Dear Santa glazed brad!

Well, thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my a few more of my Magnolia Christmas cards!

BasicGrey Challenges #59...My Favorite Things Stamps...PI Snowman cards!

Photobucket
Hey stampin' friends! Just wanted to share 2 more Christmas cards! I made these for the Anything Goes Challenge # 59 over at BasicGrey Challenges! I needed a couple masculine cards, one for a co-worker and one for Kieran's teacher. My MFT Pure Innocence Holiday Hugs Snowman was perfect! He also makes such quick cards as there is not much colouring and I can quickly paper piece his hat and scarf. I used my BasicGrey Nordic Holiday papers and buttons for both cards. I also cut out several hearts with my Hearts of Plenty Die-namics from corrugated cardboard and painted the edges with Picket Fence Crackle Distress paint. I cut a few Snowflakes with the Let it Snow Die-namics from Cork material. I sewed the buttons on with some fussy twine from my stash. I also used my Icicles Border Die-namics die and stamped the sentiment on cardstock cut with the ribbon die from the First Palce Award Ribbon Die-namics.
Photobucket
For my second card I cut the image out with my rectangle Nesties and inked with Tumbled Glass Distress ink. I used the Open Scalloped Border Die-namics and I stamped a sentiment from the PI Snowboard Boy set on some kraft cardstock cut with the Dog Tag Die-namics die.

Well, thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at more Christmas cards.

The Sketchy Challenge # 12, MDUC 126 & JM 136...Sweet Christmas Dreams!!

Photobucket
Hello stampin' friends! Well, I am trying to make a bunch of Christmas cards and the clock is ticking...eekkk!!!! I fear that I just won't get to make a card for everyone on my list this year. So, I thought I better ink up a few more of my gorgeous Christmas Maggies that I just had to have and it would be a shame to get to use them! I made two cards and kept them rather simple to speed up the process. I thought I'd play along with a few challenges too for some inspiration. So, I followed the beautiful sketch over at The Sketchy Challenge. I love this sketch by Jane! I also made this card for the Lost and Found challenge at MDUC! The Twill ribbon was wrapped around throw pillows that I bought at Winners as we are redoing our bedroom and the challenge over at Just Magnolia is Dreaming of a White Christmas...so I have used white and added "snow" to my cards with Flower Soft.

Photobucket
For my first card I have used Tilda with Snow Heart....I just LOVE her! She is my fave from the Sweet Christmas Dreams collections. I coloured her with my Copics, cut her out with my Rectangle Nesties, left the image in the die and inked with Tumbled Glass Distress ink. I added some Polar White Flower Soft for snow. I used the Wonky Border Die-namics and some black Gems to embellish. The sentiment came in the Magnolia Stamp Club Kit and I stamped it on the Framed Greetings Label Die-namics.

Photobucket
For this card I have used Midwinter Tilda. I coloured her with my Copics and cut out the image with my rectangle Nesties, left the image in the die and inked with Iced Spruce Distress ink from the Winter Seasonal set of 3 Distress inks.  I used my Wonky Scalloped border Die-namics again and the gorgeous papers on both cards are Authentique Wonder!

Photobucket
Well, thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my cards! I hope to get a few more done this week but I probably won't get to posting them.

Hugs,

My Favorite Things Stamps...WSC # 49....Peace, Love, Snow!

Photobucket
Hello stampin' friends! I am just popping on here real quick to post this card! I made it this weekend for the  MFT Wednesday Stamp Club sketch #49....loved this sketch but I say that about all the MFT WSC sketches, smile!

For my card I used BasicGrey Nordic Holiday 6x6 paper pad and I inked up this sweet Pure Innocence stamp from MFT called Ski Girl! I coloured her with my Copics and paper pieced her outfit. I used the cute wee mittens and made mittens on a string so the PI Ski Girl doesn't lose them, smile. I attached them with some unraveled twine and I stamped and cut out the skis too. I cut several Let it Snow Die-namics snowflakes from silver glitter cardstock to go with the glittery brads. The sentiment comes in the set and I just shaped it on the clear block so that it would fit the curve of the Oval Tab Die-namics. The wee "snowflake" is actually the flower centre from the Prima Donna Petals Die-namics.
Photobucket
Here is the inside....I stamped the Ski Girl again in Ladybug Memento Ink, used a sentiment from the PI Holiday Hugs Snowman set and added another silver snowflake!

Well, thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at the card I made with the great sketch that they have at MFT this week!

For my card I used this wonderful image of Alice too...I guess she is falling down the rabbit hole, Oh no! Annie really captured the movement in this image with her wonderful hair flowing like that. I had so much fun colouring Alice and especially her fabulous hair....although I did intend for her to be a blonde but I am still happy with how it turned out.  I teamed her up with some lovely BasicGrey Piccadilly 6x6 papers. I thought it would be rather fitting for this Alice in Wonderland card. I used my Flat-bottom Cloud Die-namics and the Open Scalloped border Die-namics. I stamped this great sentiment that comes with Alice and some Kraft cardstock that was cut with the Dog Tag Die-namics die. I added some American Crafts ribbon and a sprinkling of blue gems.

Photobucket
Here is the inside of my card....I used one of the fabulous sentiments that comes in the Wonderland Sentiment set that is also in the new release. There are SO many fantastic sentiments in this set....it is a must-have item!!!
