My Favorite Things Stamps...WSC # 146...Happy Holidays!

Hey Stampin' friends! I thought I would play along with the fabulous sketch over at the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club....MFTWSC146! I'm just getting it in under the wire but it gave me the chance to make another Christmas card and play with the new Glimmer Glaze that I bought the other day too.

Here is the fabulous sketch that I used.

For my card I used the festive BoBunny Silver and Gold 6X6 paper pad and I matted with MFT Replenishments Heavyweight Card Stock in Brick Red and Jellybean Green. For the rectangle panel in the sketch I decided to use the LLD Insert It - 3X4 Notepad Die-namics. I also used the gorgeous Poinsettia Die-namics cut from pattern paper. After cutting out the flowers I turned them over on a foam mat and used my ball stylist, rubbing in circular motion, to add some dimension to the petals and leaves. Then I applied the Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze in Sangria and I used Parsley Glimmer Glaze on the leaves.

I stamped one of the fabulous sentiments from the NEW Cheerful Christmas Sentiments Stamp set on Primitive Cream Heavyweight Card Stock in Brick Red Premium Dye Ink.

Here is a close up of the Glimmer Glazed Poinsettia...it adds such a pretty shimmer and glimmer and still lets the pattern in the paper show through...I really like how it looks and is very simple to use and dries quickly, so no long wait while it dries. 
 

This is the inside...very simple...I used another sentiment from the NEW Cheerful Christmas Sentiments Stamp set in Brick Red Premium Dye Ink.

My Favorite Things Stamps...Be Merry!

So, I took advantage of the long Thanksgiving weekend and got crafty! I inked up this super cute new Pure Innocence girl called Happy Christmas. This card is the kick-off to my Christmas card making...feels good to get a head start on it! 

Here is the fabulous sketch that I used from the Deconstructed Sketch!

I made my card base 6X6 from Kraft Cardstock and used this festive Authentique Joyous 6x6 paper pad. I coloured the Pure Innocence Happy Christmas girl with my Copics and paper pieced her outfit. I cut her out and popped her up on the circle panel. I used MFT Heavyweight Card Stock in Black Licorice, Wild Cherry and Olive and MFT Sweet Tooth felt. I stamped a sentiment from the PI Holly Girl Stamp set with MFT Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink and embossed it with AC Zing White Embossing powder.

As always, I used lots of Die-namics on this card...Rectangle STAX, Pierced Rectangle STAX, Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX, Circle STAX, Open Scallop Doily Duo, NEW Tree Line Die-namics, Snow Drifts Die-namics, NEW Blueprints 8, Blueprints 4, Blueprints, Blueprints 1.

Here is the inside...I stamped a shadow image of the PI Happy Christmas girl on MFT Primitive Cream Heavyweight Card Stock with Electric Red Premium Dye Ink. I used the Open Scallop Doily Duo again and the Layered Treat Tag Die-namics. I stamped this sweet sentiment that comes in the PI Happy Christmas Stamp set in Steel Grey Premium Dye Ink on Primitive Cream Heavyweight Card Stock.

My Favorite Things Stamps...WSC # 145...Hello, My Pretty & a Little Blog Candy!

Hey Stampin' friends!  I made some time this week to get crafty...my crafty mojo has magically disappeared but this week's fabulous MFTWSC145 sketch was the perfect boost I needed to get inky and make a Halloween card with my MFT Stamps and Die-namics. Here's the great sketch that they have this week!  

I made my card 6x6 from Kraft cardstock and pulled out these gorgeous Authentique Thrilling 6x6 papers...LOVE them. I decided to ink up one of my all time fave Pure Innocence girls...PI Little Witch! I matted with MFT Replenishments Heavyweight Card Stock in Tangy Orange, Orange Fizz, Black Licorice, Steel Grey and Primitive Cream.

I ordered a few things from the October release on Tuesday and I got my package today...LOVE MFT's super fast shipping. So I used the star Die-namics from the NEW Blueprints 8 and a larger star from Blueprints 4. I also used the LLD Insert It - 3x4 Notepad Die-namics.

I coloured the PI Little Witch with my Copics and paper pieced her witch costume, then cut the image with the fabulous Pierced Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I put the cut image back in the rectangle Die-namics and inked with Tea Dye and Pumice Stone Distrss ink and and grounded the image by adding in some fall grass with my Prismacolor Pencils. 

I stamped a sentiment from the MFT Pure Innocence Little Witch Stamp set on Primitive Cream Heavyweight Card Stock with MFT Steel Grey Premium Dye Ink.  I embellished with a few orange gems and tied some hemp cord through the small "button star" cut with the Die-namics from the NEW Blueprints 8.

Here is the inside...I stamped a shadow image of the PI Little Witch in Tangy Orange Premium Dye Ink and I used the LLD Insert It - 3x4 Notebook Paper Die-namics, the Layered Treat Tag Die-namics and the stars from the NEW Blueprints 8 and Blueprints 4. I stamped the sentiment with Steel Grey Premium Dye Ink. 

So, have you ever bought a die or stamp that you apparently already had in your stash?! Well it seems I did :)...Oopps! I discovered that I already had the LLD Insert It - 3x4 Notebook Paper Die-namics when making this card and I just ordered another one.
