Reverse Confetti & Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Birthday - You're Fintastic

Hello stampin' friends! I am SO happy that I was able to get crafty again! I made this FUN birthday card with the NEW Reverse Confetti, Oceans of Love Stamp set and Oceans of Love Confetti Cuts. I ordered this sweet stamp set from, Simon Says Stamp, along with some other Reverse Confetti Stamps from the new release. I am entering my card, You're Fintastic, in the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Birthday Celebration!

I used my "Reverse" water-colouring technique on this card....I just love doing this and find it much less time consuming than water-colouring each image. I used the "smooshing" technique with my Distress inks to create sheets of water-coloured paper and then strategically stamped the images on the paper to get the desired watercolour effect. I did go in with my ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Watercolour pens and add some extra definition/contrast to the adorable little sea-turtle...I've been calling him Squirt, lol and some of his friends!  I also stamped some images from the Reverse Confetti Mermaid Kisses Stamp set from my stash.

I embellished with some hemp twine tied to the sentiment strip where I stamped the sentiment from the Oceans of Love Stamp set and I added a sprinkling of sparkly blue YNS Gumdrops

I created the water-coloured background for the scene again using the "Smooshing" technique with my Tim Holtz Distress inks and then strategically cut out several different colours with the NEW Circle of Waves Confetti Cuts. I also created a frame using my MFT Circle STAX Die-namics cut from MFT Whip Cream Heavyweight Card Stock and popped it up with foam adhesive.

It doesn't show in the photos but I added some sparkle with my ZIG Wink of Stella Clear glitter pen.

I finished the inside of the card too. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from an old Reverse Confetti Stamp set - Monkey Business. I don't know if you are like this but I really like all the fonts on a card, inside and out, to match.  I also used a sentiment from the NEW Oceans of Love Stamp set that is super cute.

Thank you SO much for stopping by and having a little look at my card for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Birthday Celebration using the NEW Reverse Confetti Oceans of Love Stamp set and Confetti Cuts

Funko Pop! Quidditch Harry & Spider-Man

Hello Stampin' friends! It has been a very long time since I've made a card and posted it here on my blog but I thought I would share two cards that I made recently for a friend at work. She recently shared with me her obsession with collecting Funko Pop! figurines (I can see why...they are SO cute) and her LOVE of Harry Potter Funko Pop!

This got my crafty senses working and and I wondered if I could find a Funko Pop! digital stamp or image so I could make my friend a Funko Pop! Harry Potter card. I did a quick google search and discovered these super cute Funko Pop! colouring pages HERE. Quidditch Harry and Spider-Man were exactly what I was looking for!

I resized the image to fit my card, printed Quidditch Harry on Neenah Solar White Cardstock and coloured him up with my Copics. I cut him out with MFT Stamps Rectangle STAX and left the image in the die and inked with Mustard Seed Distress ink. I also did the "Ink Smooshing" technique with various Tim Holtz Distress inks to create the background paper. I used my Reverse Confetti All Framed Up Confetti Cuts cut from RC Salsa Cardstock. I embellished with some grey Hemp cord and Your Next Stamp gold sparkly Gumdrops!  I printed the sentiment with the free Harry P font from DaFont.com and cut it out with the the Reverse Confetti Bitty Banners Confetti Cuts and inked with Mustard Seed Distress ink

I finished the inside of the card too. I resized Quidditch Harry and printed him out on Neenah Solar White Cardstock to create a shadow image and then cut the card panel from MFT Blueprints #11. I used the Harry P font to create the sentiment with a Harry Potter movie quote that I found on Pinterest. I cut out the printed sentiment with MFT Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics and inked it with Mustard Seed Distress ink and layered it with the MFT Layered Treat Bag Die-namics

I had so much fun making the Funko Pop! Quidditch Harry card that I made another card with Funko Pop! Spider-Man. This card is for her great-grandson's upcoming 2nd birthday!

Again, I resized Spider-man, printed him on Neenah Solar White Cardstock and coloured him with my Copics. I fussy cut around the image and popped it up on the Reverse Confetti Web Tag Layer Confetti Cuts cut from silver glitter cardstock. I created some background paper using the "Ink Smooshing" technique with Tim Holtz Distress inks and used the Reverse Confetti All Framed up Confetti Cuts for the stitched border cut from RC Brick Cardstock

I tied the tag with grey Hemp Twine and embellished with some YNS Red Gumdrops. I stamped a sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Tie-rific Stamp set with Stephanie Barnard ColorBox Premium Dye ink in Blueberry and cut the sentiment out with the MFT Stitched Sentiment Strips

I tried to recreate the texture/dimension on the eyes of the actual Funko Pop! Spider-man figurine and used my Gelly Roll Glitter Pen in Clear Star to get the desired effect.

I finished the inside of this card with another printed shadow image. I was able to personalize it using an old QuicKutz 2X2 Olivia Unicase Alphabet Die Set and stamped a sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Whole Lotta Happy Sentiment Stamp Set

Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a little look at the cards I made with the Funko Pop! Colouring page images.

Reverse Confetti - Heart Pals - Be A Donor Campaign - A Show of Hearts

Hello stampin' friends! It has been a long time since I made a card but I was inspired to get crafty and make this card for "A show of Hearts Campaign" - Be a Donor Campaign. The challenge is to use your creativity with photos to show support for, Donna McAllister, she is from the Durham region and she needs a heart transplant. This campaign has been organized by my friend, Cheryl Bailey, to encourage everyone to do their part and spread awareness of organ/heart donation.

For my card I used my Reverse Confetti Stamp set Heart Pals. I coloured them with my Copics and cut them out with the coordinating Heart Pals Confetti Cuts. I used the Tag Me Confetti Cuts and stamped a white heat embossed sentiment on velum. The Sentiment is from the My Tribe Sentiment Set.

I also used the RC All Framed Up Confetti Cuts and the RC Hang Ups Confetti Cuts. I tied the Tag with some American Crafts Twine and added some sparkle with Stickles to my Heart Pals. I also, embellished with some YNS Gumdrops.

I finished the inside of my card too and stamped a sentiment from the Heart Pals Stamp set and coloured up another adorable Heart Pals.

Thanks for stopping by and having a little look at my Reverse Confetti Heart Pals Stamp set.  Now, I double checked on the beadonor.ca  website and I am a registered organ and tissue donor...are you? Reverse Confetti - Snowflake Magic

Hello Stampin' friends! I am back with another card that I made with the NEW Snowflake Magic stamp set and coordinating Snowflake Magic Confetti Cuts from the NEW Reverse Confetti release.

I picked up some YUPO paper a couple of months ago with every intention of pulling out the many Ranger Alcohol Inks that I have kickin' around in my craftroom. I really wanted to make some beautiful marbled backgrounds that I have been seeing others make. So, I played around with the Alcohol inks and YUPO paper using various techniques...it is very fun, relaxing and addictive and definitely helped to got the crafty mojo flowing again.

This background was actually made by "smooshing" the YUPO paper in the residual alcohol ink that was left on my Ranger non-stick craft sheet. I added some extra little drops of Alcohol Blending Fluid to the left over Mountain Rose, Pool and Denim Alchol ink and Silver Mixative that was on the craft sheet to loosen it up and get some more movement of the ink. I loved how this soft marbled background turned out. It was perfect for a Snowflake Magic card.

I stamped and heat embossed the Snowflake Magic stamps on MFT Heavyweight Cardstock in Berrylicious and Pink Lemonade with American Crafts ZING! White embossing powder.  I also cut some other snowflakes with the RC Snowflake Trio Confetti Cuts from Sno Cone and Pink Lemonade Heavyweight Cardstock.  I embellished with some hemp twine and YNS sparkly Gumdrops.

I finished up the inside of my card too...I simple added a scrap of the Alcohol inked marbled background cut with an MFT Horizontal Stitched Strips Die-namics (one of my all time favourtie dies along with the Vertical Stitched Strips....SOOOO versatile). I added a white embossed sentiment from the RC Sentimental Christmas Stamp Set and added another stacked Snowflake from the Snowflake Magic Stamp set and Confetti Cuts

Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a little look at my Reverse Confetti Snowflake Magic card!

Reverse Confetti - Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Party Time...Snow Bunnies

Merry Christmas stampin' friends! I made some time to make a card with some new Reverse Confetti Stamps and Confetti Cuts. I am SO glad that I did! I realized how much I miss getting crafty and really enjoyed the creative process. I hope to get back at it on a more regular basis in 2019.  So for my card today I used the super cute NEW Snow BunniesStamp set, coordinating Snow Bunnies Confetti Cuts and the Snow Balls Cover Panel Confetti Cuts.
For my card I used Reverse Confetti Card Stock in Cloud White, Aqua, Lime Green  and MFT Kraft and Sno Cone Cardstock

I am entering my card in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Party Time! So for my card I envisioned the Snow Bunnies are having a FUN skate party ;)

So, I'm a slow poke when I am making a card so it really speeds up my creative process when I already have inked background paper on hand...just love when a card comes together (relatively) quickly. I found this inked background paper in my stash that I had made for another project and didn't use. The Bristol card stock was ink blended with Distress Oxide Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers Inks. I cut it with the NEW Reverse Confetti Snowballs Cover Panel and layered it over a panel of Reverse Confetti Cloud White Card stock.

I coloured the skating snow bunnies with my copics, cut them out with the coordinating Snow Bunnies Confetti Cuts and created a little winter scene with the MFT Tree Lines Die-namics that I cut from a scrap of the same Distress Inked card stock. I also cut the stitched scalloped border from the MFT Blueprints 23. The larger cloud is from the Snow Bunnies Stamp set and the smaller matching cloud is from the RC/Simon Says Stamp Forest Friends Stamp set.

I framed the scene with the wonky stitched frame from the All Framed Up Confetti Cuts. I stamped a sentiment from the Snow Bunnies Stamp set on a stitched fishtail banner. I added some American Crafts twine and Your Next Stamps Gumdrops.

I finished up the inside of my cards...I stamped a shadow image from the Snow Bunnies Stamp set in Reverse Confetti Lime Green Ink and stamped a sentiment from the Sentimental Christmas Stamp set on Cloud card stock cut with the Tag Duo Confetti Cuts.

Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a little look at my Snow Bunnies Christmas Skate Party card with the adorable skating snow bunnies.  I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas day with family and friends!

Hello stampin' friends! I made some time this weekend to make a card. I was inspired by the fabulous color combo that they have over at the Color Throwdown # 514 and I also used the great sketch that they have at Freshly Made Sketches #358. I stocked my Reverse Confetti Stash and used the adorable RC Nuts About You Stamp set for this friendship themed card, perfect for the RC October Stock Your Stash Challenge.

I used Reverse Confetti Tangerine Cardstock and MFT Heavyweight Cardstock in Milk Chocolate, Kraft and Whip Cream

I created the watercoloured background with Fossilized Amber, Wild Honey, Brushed Courduroy, Aged Mahogany and Walnut Stain Distress ink using the "Smooshing" Technique. I cut the smooshed paper with the RC Stitched Rays Cover Panel. I layered the main circle panel by cutting the Chocolate Brown Heavyweight Cardstock with the Pierced Circle STAX Die-namics and Circle STAX Die-namics and I also used the Wreaths Confetti Cuts

I colored up the adorable little critters from the Nuts About You Stamp set with my Copics, cut them out with the coordinating Nuts About You Confetti Cuts and then popped them up on the trio of small circle as per the sketch.  I stamped a sentiment from the RC Most Beauty Stamp Set with Milk Chocolate Premium Dye Ink on the main panel. Reverse Confetti - Color Throwdown # 507 - Thank You Beary Much

Hello stampin' friends! I'm quickly poppin' by to share a card that I made today! It has been quite a while since I've made a card so I was happy to get crafty again! I was inspired by the beautiful colour combo that they have over at The Color Throwdown - CTD507 and some new Reverse Confetti goodies. I made my card with the Reverse Confetti Honey Bear Stamp set, Honey Bear Confetti Cuts and the Leaf Lattice Cover Panel Confetti Cuts

I used Reverse Confetti Cardstock in Grape Soda, Iced Aqua and Lime Green and MFT Heavyweight Cardstock in Whip Cream and Jellybean Green

I created the background panel by inlaying the Grape Soda, Iced Aqua, Lime Green and Jellybean Green leaves into the negative panel cut from Whip Cream Heavyweight Cardstock with the Leaf Lattice Cover Panel. I also cut a frame from Whip Cream Heavyweight Cardstock with the All Framed Up Confetti.

I stamped all the the various images for my scene from various RC sets Honey Bear, Rain or Shine and Coffee and You with Archival Brilliance Black Graphite Pigment Ink on Bristol card and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I then watercoloured the images with  ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I created the little scene with the Honey Bear layered on the Dashed Line Tag Confetti Cuts. The Sentiment is from the Reverse Confetti Bear Hugs Stamp set.  I embellished with some grape Twine and Grape sparkly YNS Gumdrops

I finished off the inside of my card too! Thanks SO much for stopping by and havin' a little look at my card for the CTD 507 with the Reverse Confetti Stamps and Confetti Cuts

I used MFT Heavyweight Cardstock in Smooth White, Sour Apple, and Banana Split and I used MFT Premium Dye Ink in Razzle Berry and Sour Apple. I also used Distress Oxide Inks in Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron, Broken China and Fossilized Amber
I also took inspiration from the FAB Saturday Sketch # 498

When I saw the inspirational photo with the fun colour combo that they have for the CTD478 this week I pulled out my Reverse Confetti Smitten Mittens Stamp set. I thought this stamp set with the CTD color combo would make the perfect "punny" Valentine's Day card. I stamped the mittens with MFT Premium Dye Ink in Razzle Berry and Sour Apple and cut them out with the coordinating Smitten Mittens Confetti Cuts.

I also did a little inking with Distress Oxide Inks on Bristol paper to create the vibrant background with all the colours and added some shimmery splotches with Tattered Angles Shimmering Diamonds

 photo CTD478_edited-RS1_zpsgxpzrhsd.jpg

The mittens are layered over the Reverse Confetti Lacy Scallop Circles Confetti Cuts and I used a sentiment from the NEW Reverse Confetti Heart Filled Sentiments Stamp Set stamped on Smooth White Heavyweight Card cut out with the MFT Dimensional Banners Die-namics.  I replaced the word "heart" in the sentiment with a stamped heart from the RC Unicorn Wishes Stamp set.

I finished the inside of my card too...I added another pair of mittens from the Reverse Confetti Smitten Mittens Stamp set and a sentiment from the Heart Filled Sentiments Stamp set.
Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a little look at my Valentine's Day card for the CTD478 and the Saturday Sketch Challenge # 489. I hope you can make some time to get crafty and join the Color Throwdown # 478 this week!
