Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - MFT Stamps & Spellbinders - Together Forever

Hello stampin' friends! just quickly stopping by to share another card I made for my friend, Glenda. She needed another wedding card. Again, I went for a more vintage/romantic look with the fall colour palette for the wedding. It was a great opportunity to use some of my paper flowers that I have been hoarding for years. I also used the MFT Stamp set LJD Together Forever for the sentiments. I am entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Stamp On It.
I picked up the beautiful Oval Ironwork Nestabilites die set at my local scrapbooking store. Then I decided to pull out all my old Nestabilites Dies and I paired it with the  Nestabilites Labels Seven and the Deckled Oval Nestabilites. I cut some bronze metallic cardstock from my stash with the Oval Ironwork Nestabilites die.

I stamped the sentiment from the MFT Stamps LJD Together Forever on MFT Whip Cream Heavyweight Cardstock with VersaFine Onyx Black ink. I cut the sentiment strip with the MFT Pierced Fishtail Flags Die-namics using the "cut and re-cut' technique to resize the strip. I embellished with paper flowers from my stash, twine and some brown half-pearls.
I finished the inside of my card too....I stamped another sentiment from the MFT Stamps LJD Together Forever
Thank you for stopping by and having a little look at my card for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Stamp Challenge - Stamp On It with MFT Stamps and Spellbinders Nestabilites.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - MFT Stamps - Together Forever

Hello stampin' friends! Whoo hoo...I finally made a card!!! It has been a couple of months since I have had any desire to make a card or get inky. I just didn't have any crafty mojo but that didn't seem to stop me from shopping at Simon Says Stamp, lol. Well, I am happy to enter my card for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes featuring MFT Stamps

My friend asked me if I could make a card for a wedding that she will be attending. It was just the nudge I needed to get off the couch, head down to my craft studio and get inky.

The colour combo for the wedding is Forest Green and Ivory so I used MFT Whip Cream and Kraft Heavy Weight Cardstock and Reverse Confetti Avocado Cardstock

I did some 'smooshing" on water colour paper with Distress Ink in Mowed Lawn and Forest Moss and used the "smooshed" paper for the background paper and the Linked Chain Oval Die-namics. I cut several Linked Chain Oval Die-namics and adhered them together to give the linked chain oval die more stability and layered it over the Whip Cream Oval panel cut with the Oval STAX Die-namics and stamped the sentiment from the LJD Together Forever Sentiment Stamp set with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink

I cut RC Avocado Cardstock with the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Frames Die-namics and the Layered Leaves Die-namics was cut with Avocado Cardstock and Whip Cream Heavyweight Cardstock. I also added a few little Kraft hearts cut with the Full of Heart Die-namics. I used various paper roses and flowers from my extensive stash of flowers and embellished with some half pearls and Forest Green Hemp twine.

I finished the inside of the card with another stamped sentiment from the LJD Together Forever Sentiment Stamp set and layered the oval panel with another die Linked Chain Oval Die-namics. I added more paper flowers and more Layered Leaves. I printed the happy couples names on Whip Cream Heavyweight Cardstock and cut it out with the stitched fishtail banner from Blueprints 2.

Thanks SO much for stopping by and havin' a little look at my card for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes featuring MFT Stamps.

Hello stampin' friends! It is time for another Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge but we are sad to announce that this will be our last Curtain Call Challenge. It has been an amazing and fun opportunity for me to be part of The Curtain Call Crew! I would like to thank Stacey and the talented Curtain Call Crew for the amazing time! We have a beautifully festive inspirational photo for the  Curtain Call - December 15 - Pines. We hope you can make find time to play along with us for our last challenge. Remember take inspiration from the photo or anything goes!

I also followed the Reverse Confetti SFYTT # 55 for this card

When I saw the inspirational photo I knew I wanted to use this BasicGrey Juniper Berry patterned paper that I had in my stash. I cut the main circle panel with the RC Lacey Scallop Circles Confetti Cuts and stamped the sentiment from the Sentimental RC Christmas Stamp Set.

I also used the Reverse Confetti Holly Confetti Cuts and the Leafy Confetti Cuts to embellish the sentiment panel. I tied with some hemp twine and some white sparkly Your Next Stamp Gumdrops.

Thanks SO much for stopping by and havin' a little look at my card for the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge Dec. 15 - Pines and the Reverse Confetti SFYTT # 55! We hope you can join us!

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - July 15 - Unicorn Wishes

Hello stampin' friends! Time for a NEW Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Unicorn - all the details and link-up are over at the Curtain Call! I ADORE the inspirational photo that we have and as soon as I set my eyes on this sweet unicorn and the banner, I knew I had to use my Reverse Confetti Unicorn Wishes and Double Banner Garland Confetti Cuts.

Oh and before you run off to check out all the inspiration the crew has to share I want to give a special shout-out to Tammy Hurshburger at Stamp Happy ! She is joining the Curtain Call Crew and we couldn't be more thrilled to have her join us....she is SOOOOO super talented and such a sweetie!

The LEAD of this challenge will be invited to be a guest designer in an upcoming challenge!

Please welcome our newest Guest Designer,

Anni Lerche, Annikarten

I used MFT Heavyweight Cardstock in Black Licorice and Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Cardstock!

I wanted a soft feel in keeping with the inspirational photo so I did a little "reverse water-colouring" as I like to call it. I made some water-coloured patterned paper with my Peerless Watercolors and set it aside to dry, when dry, I strategically stamped on the watercoloured paper to get the desired colour and effect with the Unicorn Wishes and Weather It Together stamps, then cut the images out with the coordinating Unicorn Wishes and Weather It Together Confetti Cuts.

I used the Love Note Confetti Cuts, cut from water-coloured paper, as the "home" for all the stamped and die-cut elements and created a little scene. I stamped a sentiment from the Unicorn Wishes on a flag and tucked it under the cute little unicorn. I wrapped the panel from the Class Act Confetti Cuts with hemp twine tied a bow and sprinkled around some pretty pink sparkly YNS GumDrops.  I thought my card should sparkle just a bit so I pulled out my hand-dandy Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust pens in clear and yellow...unfortunately,  it doesn't show up in the pics.

I finished off the inside of the card too...stamping another sentiment from the Unicorn Wishes stamp set on the small tag from the Tag Me Confetti Cuts and adding a few left over "reverse watercoloured" stamped images and dies.

 photo RCTheBuzzHop1_edited-1RS1_zpsi2vybflh.jpg

I've been seeing so many beautiful cards with a watercolour wash background that I thought I would give it a try! So, I set my Copic markers aside, pulled out my Peerless Watercolours, watercolour paper and the NEW The Buzz Stamp set. I used the Watercolour Wash Technique to make the background panels and added some splatters with Heidi Swap Teal Color Shine. I stamped the bee hive, large bee and tiny bee with VersaFine Vintage Sepia ink, watercolored them too, cut them out with the coordinating The Buzz Confetti Cuts and popped them up on the panel cut with the Documented Confetti Cuts.

I stamped this sweet sentiment from the NEW The Buzz Stamp set with VersaFine Vintage Sepia Ink directly on the background panel. I cut out the sun with the NEW Sun'n Clouds Confetti Cuts from some water colour paper that was painted with yellow Peerless Watercolours and added a little circle to the centre of the sun that I cut with the small circle die from the Donut You Know Confetti Cuts. I embellished with some brown cord layered over a little flower from the NEW The Tweet Life Confetti Cuts and a sprinkling of yellow Gumdrops fished it off.

I finished off the inside of my card too...I stamped another sentiment from the NEW The Buzz Stamp set and added another watercoloured bee hive and stamped a shadow image of the tiny bee with VersaFine Vintage Sepia ink.

Thanks SO much for buzzing by and having a little peek at my card with the NEW The Buzz Stamp set and coordinating The Buzz Confetti Cuts. All the stamps and Confetti Cuts are NOW Available over at the Reverse Confetti Store
