Happy Saturday! YAY!!! It's the weekend and we are having some really nice, sunny and rather warm weather this weekend. Well, I hope you are able to enjoy the weekend and maybe get outside. I know I have a lot of DT cards and class cards to make this weekend but I do hope to get outside and enjoy the sunshine even if it is just for a bit!
It is Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge day! Kimmie has set the challenge...Something Old... and all the Krafty Girls are featuring sweet Gabrielle from the Tea Party Spring Kit on our cards! Gabrielle is such a doll and she is my fave girlie in the Tea Party Kit...just love her to bits!
For my card I pulled out this old, old Daisey D's paper that I have had kickin' around for a long time and made my cardbase 6x6 from white American Crafts cardstock. I thought this paper went well with the Tea Theme. To embellish, I used a coordinating cardstock tag and bracket, some American Crafts gingham ribbon, Prima flowers with button centres and tied with scrappers floss. I stamped one of the great sentiments from the Tea Party kit on the tag!
I stamped Gabrielle on Neenah card and coloured her in with my Copics! I cut the image out with my label Nesties and left the image in the die and inked with Barn Door Distress ink.
Here is the inside of the card and the sentiments are from Kimmie's Everyday Sentiments set!
Well, I hope you can have a look through your stash and find "something old" and join the challenge! Make sure you take a peek at all the other stunning creations that the Krafty Girls have made with the stunning Gabrielle!
Thanks for stopping by and having a wee peek!
