Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - MFT Stamps & Spellbinders - Together Forever

Hello stampin' friends! just quickly stopping by to share another card I made for my friend, Glenda. She needed another wedding card. Again, I went for a more vintage/romantic look with the fall colour palette for the wedding. It was a great opportunity to use some of my paper flowers that I have been hoarding for years. I also used the MFT Stamp set LJD Together Forever for the sentiments. I am entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Stamp On It.
I picked up the beautiful Oval Ironwork Nestabilites die set at my local scrapbooking store. Then I decided to pull out all my old Nestabilites Dies and I paired it with the  Nestabilites Labels Seven and the Deckled Oval Nestabilites. I cut some bronze metallic cardstock from my stash with the Oval Ironwork Nestabilites die.

I stamped the sentiment from the MFT Stamps LJD Together Forever on MFT Whip Cream Heavyweight Cardstock with VersaFine Onyx Black ink. I cut the sentiment strip with the MFT Pierced Fishtail Flags Die-namics using the "cut and re-cut' technique to resize the strip. I embellished with paper flowers from my stash, twine and some brown half-pearls.
I finished the inside of my card too....I stamped another sentiment from the MFT Stamps LJD Together Forever
Thank you for stopping by and having a little look at my card for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Stamp Challenge - Stamp On It with MFT Stamps and Spellbinders Nestabilites.

 photo MFTSCRAP5A_edited-1RS10_zps01a803ff.jpg

I LOVE this FUN sketch...it was perfect to scarp some SILLY pics that my daughter Hannah took of herself with Photobooth and the camera on her computer. She decided to get her GEEK on with some 3D movie glasses. I had the pics printed at Wal-Mart...4, 3X2 pics on one 4X6 sheet.

  photo MFTSCRAP5K_edited-1RS11_zpsdaaffec8.jpg

For this 12X12 page, I used Teressa Collins Tell Your Story 12X12 papers and used MFT Black Licorice, Sweet Tooth, Blue Raspberry and Orange Fizz Heavyweight Card Stock. I used the Laina Lamb Document It - Right This Way Stamp set, Document It - Off the Chart, Document It - Days and Dates and the You Make My Day Stamp set and stamped with Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.

 photo MFTSCRAP5C_edited-1RS3_zpsef37cb5f.jpg

To make all the banners I used the Rounded Banner STAX, Circle STAX 1 and 2, The Jumbo Banner Day STAX, The Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX, and the Heart STAX Die-namics. I strung them along Charcoal Twinery Twine.

 photo MFTSCRAP5J_edited-1RS9_zps75464c89.jpg

I used the High-Rise Upper and Lower Case Alphabet Die-namics for the title and cut a flower from Black Licorice Heavyweight Card Stock with the Pretty Posies Die-namics. The little Orange Fizz Hearts are the punched out pieces from the Layered Hearts Border Die-namics.

 photo MFTSCRAP5D_edited-1RS4_zpsc52eb492.jpg

I also used the Lead the Way Die-namics and added a few arrows here and there and the Accent It - Labels and Tabs Die-nmaics

 photo MFTSCRAP5E_edited-1RS5_zps925e0458.jpg

I added a few Blue Raspberry Buttons tied with Charcoal Twinery Twine to some of the banners.

La-La Land Crafts...Inspirational Friday Guest Designer...O Canada!

Photobucket

Hey Stampin' friends! It is time for another La-La Land Crafts Inspirational Friday! This week the theme is to use the colour combo red, white and blue or to use the colours of your nation! Well, I'm a proud Canuck (Canadian) so I made my card red and white!

Photobucket

So, I have quite the mix of papers from different pads on this card. I don't normally mix up papers from different companies. I know it is rather odd thing but it bothers me to mix up papers that are from different manufactures :)...I worry that they may not go together or something. Well, It was a good exercise for me to move outside my crafty comfort zone and mix things up, literally!

So, I decided to ink up sweet Capri Marci for my patriotic card. She is my all time fave LLLC Marci stamp...I think she is just so sweet! I coloured her with my Copics and cut her out and pop-dotted her on the circle panel that I cut with Open Scallop Doily Die-namics. I also used my Layered Hearts and Heats of Plenty Die-namics. I added the pretty butterfly cut with the La-La Land Crafts Butterflies Die and added a few white half pearls to the fabulous butterfly.  I used some white cotton lace trim and red and white gingham ribbon with a sprinkling of red buttons. I printed the sentiment on my computer and cut it out with the Fishtail Flags Die-namics.
Photobucket
Here is the inside of my card...I stamped Capri Marci again with Love Letter Memento ink and a sentiment from the A La Modes, Time to Celebrate Stamp set on white card cut with the smallest, Rounded Banner STAX Die-namics die...it makes a fab little tag.

Well, thanks SO much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card for this week's theme at LLLC Inspirational Friday. Now swing on over to the LLLC Blog and check out all of the gorgeous creations my the other LLLC DT. You can upload your creations to the La-La Land Crafts Customer Gallery too…you just might be the next lucky winner at the end of the month!

Happy Stampin'!

La-La Land Crafts...Inspirational Friday Guest Desiger...Let's get lost in Paradise!

Photobucket
Hello stampin' friends! It's time for the La-La Land Crafts Friday Inspirational team to share card for this week's theme, Something for Dad! I thought I would make a card for my hubby, Chris. He is an awesome Dad and does so many things with and for our 2 children, Hannah and Kieran. I hope that some day we can make his dream vacation to Hawaii come true. I know he would like to take that trip for his 50th Birthday. If it doesn't happen then, it will happen someday because he totally deserves it!

Photobucket

So, I thought I would ink up this sweet stamp, Ukulele Luka, to make a Hawaiian Father's Day card for him. I picked some great papers from the BasicGrey PB&J 6x6 paper pad and I was especially drawn to this blue floral paper in the pad and thought it would make a great "Hawaiian shirt". I coloured Ukulele Luka with my Copics and paper pieced his shirt and pants. I added some Buttermilk Copic Spica pen and Sakura Glaze pen to the flowers.

Photobucket

I stamped the sentiment from the PI Hula Girl stamp set on white card cut with a MFT Die-namics Chat Bubble. I embellished with a Hibiscus Die-namics, some blue twill tape and a sprinkling of blue gems.
Photobucket

Here is the inside...I stamped a shadow image of Ukulele Luka in the new Teal Zeal Memento Ink and added some Fishtail Flags Die-namics and the rest of the sentiment from the PI Hula Girl Stamp set. Well, thanks SO much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card with Ukulele Luka for this week's La-La Land Crafts theme...Inspired by a Something for Dad! Now, head on over to the LLLC blog and see all the gorgeous creations by the LLLC Inspiration Friday DT! La-La Land Crafts...Inspirational Die Showcase...Life is a Journey!

Photobucket

Hey stampin' friends! Today both the Monday and Friday Inspirational teams are holding a La-La Land Crafts Die Showcase to share all the fabulous new LLLC Dies! Today I have made a card with Travel Marci and used the gorgeous NEW Street Lamp Post and one of the pretty butterflies from the NEW Butterflies Set 1. To kick off the new dies release we are having a 10% off sale for 2 days only for June 4th and 5th, just use this discount code INTRO10.

Also, at this time LLLC is not shipping the Dies to Australia and New Zealand. If you are in Australia or New Zealand please contact your local craft store to purchase our dies. If you need to find store location, please email Copic X-Press at jacqui@xpressgraphx.com.au and they will be happy to assist you.

So,  I teamed Travel Marci up with these pretty MME papers called Six by Six, Paris & Co....I love blue and brown together...très chic! I thought I would add a little stitching to my card but sewing machines don't like me so instead I used my trusty 'ol Kelly Panacci Stitching Stamps and stamped with Brushed Corduroy Distress ink.

Photobucket
I coloured Travel Marci with my Copics and cut her out and pop-dotted her on on the card. The Street Lamp Die is cut from AC brown cardstock and I cut it a second time from AC yellow cardstock and adhered the piece behind the lamp so that there is a yellow glow from the lamp post.  I used the sweet sentiment that comes with Travel Marci and cut it out with my Fishtail Flags STAX and inked with Old Paper Distress ink.  I also added blue Satin ribbon, a smattering of blue half-pearls and one of the sweet LLLC butterflies from the Butterflies Set 1. I also created a second little butterfly by turning two of the negative "heart" shaped piece from the butterfly on their side and adding a few pearls for the body and drew in some antenna with a Copic Muliti-liner.

Photobucket

Here is the inside....I added a shadow image of travel Marci and another little butterfly. The sentiment is a combination of two sentiment from the MFT More Essential Sentiments set. I turned the MFT Sweet Stack Die-namics on its side and a few more blue half-pearls!

Thanks SO much for stopping by today and having a wee peek at my Travel Marci card featuring the new LLLC Lamp Post and Butterfly dies! Please visit the LLLC blog for a list of all the DT with cards to share showcasing the fabulous new LLLC Dies.

Happy Stampin'!

La-La Land Crafts...Inspiration Friday...The Great Outdoors!

Photobucket
I am back with my second post for today and my very first La-La Land Crafts card....Whoo-hoo!! I'm super happy with how this card turned out too. I got this adorable Capri Marci and two other Marci stamps from Lora at One Crazy Stamper. She had a few La-La Land stamps on sale and I have been SO tempted by Inge and Jo's gorgeous La-La Land creations that I just couldn't resist these CUTE stamps any longer.

I made this card for the La-La Land Crafts blog Friday Inspiration Theme...The Great Outdoors. Since I only have a few La-La Land stamps to pick from I decided to use Capri Marci and created a bit of an outdoor scene around her with QuicKutz and MFT Die-namics. The Sentiment is from MFT Great Outdoors Sentiments Set.
Photobucket
I used more gorgeous MME Miss Caroline paper this time from the Dolled Up 6x6 paper pad. I coloured Marci with my Copics and cut her out and sat her on some grass cut with a QuicKutz 2x2 die. The clouds, tent and tress are also QuicKutz 2x2 dies. I am glad I got to use them and really should try and use them more often since I have so many from my scrapbooking days. I used several MFT Die-namics dies here too...they will be down at the bottom in my supplies list. I embellished with some lace trim, hemp twine, white half pearls, and some Wild Orchid Crafts cherry blossoms.
Photobucket
Here is the inside...I stamped Capri Marci with Lady Bug Memento ink and used another sentiment from the MFT The Great Outdoors stamp set.

Well, thanks SO much for stopping by again and having a wee peek at my very first La-La Land Crafts card. I have a feeling this won't be my last...oh boy, just what I need another stamp addiction, lol!

Tickled Pink Stamps...Guest DT for Feburary Release...Lil Futuristic Lad Stefan!

Photobucket
Hey crafty friends! I am back again today with another preview for the new Tickled Pink Stamps February release! Today the Pink Ladies are featuring cards with this super cool guy, Lil Futuristic Lad Stefan. Please remember to leave a comment here on my post and on all the Pink Ladies blogs for a chance to win Futuristic Stefan by Digital Download only.

So, I have to tell you "boy" cards are not my fave and I really struggle making masculine cards but this card with Futuristic Stefan came together so easily and I had so much fun colouring him up with my Copics!  I was still on my Si-Fi/Action Movie kick, when making this Stefan card. I used this great MME Kraft Funday 6x6 paper pad. I cut the image out with my long rectangle Nesties and left the image in the die and inked with Old Paper Distress ink and Bundled Twigs.

Photobucket
I used my MFT At the Movies Stamp and Die-namics and the Just the Ticket Stamp sets for the sentiment on the ticket.  I also used the MFT Mini Film Strip Border Die-namics and the Monarch Border Die-namics. I added green gems to the monarch border and then sprinkled a few here and there.
Photobucket
Here is the inside...I framed another Stefan in the Large Film Die-namics frame and used a large sentiment from the At the Movies Stamp and Die-namics set.

Well, thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my Stefan card! Remember to leave a comment for a chance to win a digi image of Stefan. Also, pop on over to the Tickled Pink Stamps blog and check out all the gorgeous cards by the Pink Ladies.
