I coloured Lil Lolita Australian Kellita with my Copics and cut her out and pop-dotted her on the card. I used gorgeous MME Dolled Up 6x6 papers and some rustic twine stuff that I've had in my stash forever. I also used several MFT Die-namics dies on here and some metal embellishments and a smattering of half-pearls.
Photobucket
Here is the inside! Now don't ya think Lil Lolita Australian Kellita is SUPER DUPER cute! Well, just wait until you see the other images in this release. I will be back on Saturday with another card to share and for the blog hop on Sunday March 11/12 so I hope you will pop back again!

My Favorite Things Stamps...WSC # 61....Girl Talk...!

Photobucket

Hey stampin' friends! A quick post tonight to share the card I made with this week's My Favorite Things Stamps sketch....MFTWSC61! I flipped the sketch and used this sweet MFT A La Modes Girl Talk stamp set and teamed her up with MME Howdy Doody 6x6 paper pad. I used the gorgeous and my FAVE flower Die-namics at the mo, Botanical Beauty, and the new super cute Chat Bubbles Die-namics.
Photobucket
I coloured the ALM Girl Talk girlie with my Copics and paper pieced her top, pants and her iPhone case. I cut the image out with my long Nesties and left the image in the die and inked with Pumice Stone Distress ink. I used portions of some of the cute sentiments that come in this set and then made the chat bubbles smaller, to fit the sentiment using the "cut and re-cut technique" that Joanne B. demonstrates in a video tutorial here. I embellished with this gorgeous ribbon from MFT that I have been hording and made a cute bow with twine and a BG button and a sprinkling of half-pearls.
Photobucket
Here is the inside...another sweet sentiment from the Girl Talk stamp set, another Botanical Beauty flower. I used the Layered Labels Die-namics and the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics and stamped the Girl Talk girlie again in London Fog Memento ink.

Well, Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card for the MFTWSC61!

Have a stampin' great day!

La-La Land Crafts...Inspiration Friday...The Great Outdoors!

Photobucket
I am back with my second post for today and my very first La-La Land Crafts card....Whoo-hoo!! I'm super happy with how this card turned out too. I got this adorable Capri Marci and two other Marci stamps from Lora at One Crazy Stamper. She had a few La-La Land stamps on sale and I have been SO tempted by Inge and Jo's gorgeous La-La Land creations that I just couldn't resist these CUTE stamps any longer.

I made this card for the La-La Land Crafts blog Friday Inspiration Theme...The Great Outdoors. Since I only have a few La-La Land stamps to pick from I decided to use Capri Marci and created a bit of an outdoor scene around her with QuicKutz and MFT Die-namics. The Sentiment is from MFT Great Outdoors Sentiments Set.
Photobucket
I used more gorgeous MME Miss Caroline paper this time from the Dolled Up 6x6 paper pad. I coloured Marci with my Copics and cut her out and sat her on some grass cut with a QuicKutz 2x2 die. The clouds, tent and tress are also QuicKutz 2x2 dies. I am glad I got to use them and really should try and use them more often since I have so many from my scrapbooking days. I used several MFT Die-namics dies here too...they will be down at the bottom in my supplies list. I embellished with some lace trim, hemp twine, white half pearls, and some Wild Orchid Crafts cherry blossoms.
Photobucket
Here is the inside...I stamped Capri Marci with Lady Bug Memento ink and used another sentiment from the MFT The Great Outdoors stamp set.

Well, thanks SO much for stopping by again and having a wee peek at my very first La-La Land Crafts card. I have a feeling this won't be my last...oh boy, just what I need another stamp addiction, lol!

My Favorite Things Stamps...WSC # 59....Meow Meow = I Love You!

Photobucket

Meow, stampin' friends, smile!  Hope all my fellow Ontarians are enjoying the long weekend with today off for Family Day! I have had a wonderfully lazy weekend and spent all day Saturday watching all of the first season of Game of Thrones on HBO Canada. Kraftin' Kimmie told me about the books and the HBO series and  now I'm totally addicted too. I just downloaded the books onto my e-reader...gotta get reading before Season 2 of the series starts.

So, I made this card yesterday for the MFTWSC59 sketch challenge! I deviated a bit from the sketch as I didn't want to cover up this sweet PI girl and her kitten with the sentiment flag, so, I have it going the other way...hope that's okay.
Photobucket
I used this new Pure Innocence girlie from the stamp set called Purrfect, and that she is. I teamed her up with some gorgeous new MME paper pads this one is called Miss Caroline, Fiddlesticks 6x6 paper pad. I love this gorgeous colour combo of yellow and mauve in this pad. I coloured the Purrfect PI girlie with my Copics cut the image out with my Rectangle Nesties, left the image in the die and inked with Scattered Straw Distress ink.  I used my new Botanical Beauty Die-namics die to make the gorgeous flower and added some hemp twine. The sentiment is stamped on white card cut with the ribbon die from the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics. I just inked up the word "Meow" from one of the sweet sentiments in the Purrfect stamp set and stamped it twice. I also used Joanne's tip to elongate the strip of paper cut with one of the dies from the Mix and Match Banner Die-namics and, of course, I had to sprinkle a few pearls here and there.
Photobucket
Here is the inside...I stamped the PI Purrfect girl again in Lulu Lavender Memento ink and used several MFT Die-namics to make the sentiment stack. The sentiment is from another PI Set called Rose. I added a few more flowers using the Botanical Beauty and Perfect Petal Die-namics.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and having a wee peek at my card that I made for the MFTWSC59 Sketch Challenge.

Have a Stampin' Great Day!!!

Hugs,

For my card I have used Rescue Ranger from the SUPERHEROS collection by Annie Rodrigue. I adore this stamp...she is SO cute and everyone needs a Rescue Ranger to save the day now and again. That special friend that knows when to bring the ice cream, tissues and a few good books to help mend a broken heart, chase the blues away or when you're under the weather.  So, I coloured Rescue Ranger with my Copics, cut her out with my circle Nesties and left the image in the die and inked with Spiced Marmalade. The papers are BasicGrey Hopscotch 6x6 papers. I used my MFT Jumbo Monarch Border Die-namics and stamped the sweet sentiment that comes with Rescue Ranger on the Oval Tab Die-namics. I added some Twinery Twine in Shore and a BG button and a sprinkling of chocolatey brown half-pearls.

Photobucket
Here is the inside...I stamped Rescue Ranger again in Rose Bud Memento ink and used my MFT Layered Labels Die-namics and the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics. The sentiment is from Kimmie's Everyday Sentiment set.

I flipped the sketch and substituted the scalloped border on Michele's sketch for the grass....thought it was a little more manly and sporty, smile. I added some black gems here and there and some Twinery Twine.  I also used my Stacking Star Die-namics and the MFT Just the Ticket Die-namics and stamp set.
