New BasicGrey Challenges # 15...Inspirational Pic...As Delicate as a Flower!

It is Basic Grey Challenges day! Martine found this gorgeous inspirational pic to inspire our creations this week and it was so easy to get lost in this dreamy pic. It is absolutely stunning! Well, I hope you can join us!

I was inspired by many of the elements in this stunning pic including the beautiful colour combo. So I used white, blue, yellow and a touch of red/pink! The card base is 6x6 from white American Crafts cardstock and American Crafts Letterbox patterned paper! I decided to use this Sugar Nellie image called Demure! I thought her beautiful flowy gown looked like the gown hanging in the pic. I Coloured her with my Copics and cut the image out with the flower Nestie as it is the same shape as the foot rest in the pic. I left the image in the die and sponged with Tim Holtz Spun Sugar Distress ink. I used some white ribbon and tied a bow as there are several white bows in the pic and I used my MS lattice punch as there is some white lattice on the rad cover. I added an Eskimo Kisses fabric brad to the image as I thought it looked like the fabric pillows on the chair. The yellow American Crafts ribbon also looks like the yellow ribbon trim the crib skirt.
Here is the inside of the card! I used a BG Romani tag with BG brads and stamped a Kelly Panacci sentiment on it.
Thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek! I hope you can join the BasicGrey challenge and make sure you take a look at all the stunning cards the BG DT created to inspire you! The are absolutely stunning!
Have a great weeked!

I stamped Lisette on on Neenah card and coloured her with my Copics. I used my Wild Honey Distress inks to sponge in the background colour. I stamped the sentiment directly on the image...I think this sentiment is just perfect with Lisette! I made my card base from American Crafts cardstock and matted with it too. I am loving all the cards that the Krafty Girls have previewed so far this week. They have really out done themselves and there is still more to come! We are gearing up for Sunday and the big Tea Party Blog hop!!! You won't want to miss that! Today we are all showing you our cards featuring Henri! Isn't he just so proper and spiffy looking, smile! I thought I would use BG Porcelain for this card and I love how the paper has tea dyed look to it! The perfect paper for a Tea Party, me thinks.
I stamped Henri on Neenah card and coloured him with my Copics. I made a mask out of a post-it-note and then stamped the script stamp on top. I then cut the image out with my Circle Nesties and left the image in the die and sponged with Pumice Stone and a little Vintage Photo Distress ink. I used American Crafts ric rac and BG Porcelain brads. The tag is a QK tag and the sentiment is from the tea sentiments set that comes with the Spring kit. There is also coffee sentiments as well!
There is a list of all the links to the gorgeous creations by the Krafty Girls on the KKS blog, so take a swing by and have a little look-see at all of today's preview cards!

Whiff of Joy # 69...Coffee and Cream Colour Combo...Bliss!

Good Morning! It's Wednesday and time for another great challenge at the Whiff of Joy Challenge blog! This week we have a colour combo...coffee and cream...isn't that just so cozy sounding! I thought I would broaden the scope of the challenge for my card and used this cute Willow with a "cup of coffee",smile!

I am a total coffee drinker/lover and love coffee flavoured ice cream and other coffee flavoured goodies! Although, I can't drink cream in my coffee anymore...too many calories, so it is milk in my coffee not cream, smile!

I got this absolutely scrummy double-sided Crate paper at Stamping Bella on Saturday. It's just sooooo gorgeous and has a nice texture to it too! It has some other colours in it other than just brown and cream! The bliss definition is a MM sticker! I stamped Willow on Neenah card and colourd her with my Copics and added a little Prisma Pencil to the image too! I used Distress inks to sponge in the background colour.

The fabulous cotton lace is from the dollar store and I just laced the thin brown ribbon through it and added a few Primas and brown pearl centers.

Here is the inside and I used one of the new fabulous sentiments from the Kraftin' Kimmie Spring Stamp Kit! I have another post previewing another one of the sweet KKS images from the Tea Party Stamp kit so make sure you check it out too!

Thanks for stopping by and having a wee peek! I hope you can join the coffee and cream challenge this week at Whiff of Joy Challenge blog and make sure you go take a look at the WOJ DT! They have made absolutely delish creations this week to inspire you!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps...Tea Party Spring Stamp Kit...Preview #1!

Kimmie and the Krafty Girls are all super excited and set to share our previews of the Kraftin' Kimmie Spring Kit and to finally spill the beans on the fun theme for this kit.....it's a "Tea Party"! How fun is that! There is a lot of interest in the new Alice in Wonderland movie and this KKS Spring Kit has an Alice vibe to it for sure!

The Kit includes five crazy cool main images, five coordinating accessory stamps by Annie Rodrigue AND TWO sets of sentiments with 32 perfect tea and coffee phrases created by our own Krafty Girl Jeanne Streiff!!! The value of the Spring Kit is $58! But it's going to be available at a discount of 10% for a limited time!! And you can get your inky fingers on it right now!!! It is available at the Kraftin' Kimmie on-line store!!!

So, the first image, in the line up, that we are all previewing, is Nadine...isn't she just too cute for words! She comes with a Milk Pitcher accessory stamp! I just love her braids sticking up in the air like that!

I made my card 6x6 and used BasicGrey Bitter Sweet and I picked this American Crafts ribbon to pick up on the pattern in her dress. I coloured her in with my Copics, of course and used one of the new Distress inks Spun Sugar to sponge in the background colour...did you pick on the food theme there BG Bittersweet and Spun Sugar Distress inks, yum-o! The sentiment is from one of the 2 sentiments sets you get in the kit...one with coffee sentiments and one with tea sentiments.

Here is the inside and I thought I would be a bit cheeky and I used one of the sentiments from Kimmie's Holiday Sentiments set and I just didn't ink up the "s" on friends...I think it is kind a punny since Nadine has a plate of flaky treats in her hand, he, he, he!

Well, thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at Nadine the first of all five of the previews that we have this week. Yuppers, that means if you come back tomorrow through to Saturday I'll have the other super cute Tea Party images to share with you and so will the other Krafty Girls. Then on Sunday we are having a Tea Party blog Hop so you definitely don't want to miss that!

Have a stampin' great day!

Just Magnolia # 44...BFF-Birthday Wishes!

Just a quick post this morning to share the card I made for the Just Magnolia challenge. This week the theme is Birthdays. I have had Tilda Picking Peaches for a while now and not inked her up so I thought I would use her for this card as she is just so darn cute! I picked out these papers from a 12x12 MME Totally Girl stack that matched this ribbon that I bought at Micheals in the sale bin. I also used one of the round digi lables from The Shabby Shoppe that just happen to match perfectly.
I stamped Tilda on Neenah card and coloured her with my Copics and Prisma pencils. I tried my hand at putting in some grass with pencils as per Linda's instructions on Saturday and Paula's grass tutorial...I still need a lot of practice with it. I left the image in the die and inked around the image with one of my new Distress inks, Wild Honey!

The sentiment is from Kraftin' Kimmie's Everyday Sentiment set, I added a few Rain Dots, these pretty flowers and a little Stickles for some sparkle!
Well, Thanks for stopping by and having a wee peek! I hope you can come back tomorrow as I
have something special to share with you!
