My Favorite Things...MFT Color Challenge 138 & Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge...You're a Good Egg!

Hello Stampin' friends!!! It has been a very long time since I have made a card and posted here on my blog but I have been staying home and self-isolating/social distancing, like everyone one else, during the COVID19 pandemic. We finally got around to giving my craftroom a refresh with a coat of paint. We had this mini-reno in the works for a while but hadn't got around to it. So, we finally did it! Chris painted and hung up the pegboard that my Dad made for me and my Mum painted it. I love it!!! Everyone did a great job! Scroll down to see some craftroom pics.

So, I made this card with this adorable MFT Somebunny Sweet Pure Innocence stamp. I think she is retired now but this is my first time inking her up. I made this card with the pretty color pallet for the MFT Color Challenge 138.  I am also entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. They have a beautiful spring mood board for inspiration.

I made my card with MFT Heavyweight Cardstock in Primitive White, Razzle Berry, Blu Raspberry and Reverse Confetti Sunshine Cardstock

I coloured the Somebunny Sweet Pure Innocence with my Copic markers and I created a little scene with the flower accessories stamp from the Mud Buddies Pure Innocence Stamp set. I cut the image with my MFT Rectangle STAX Die-namics and did some inking with Distress ink in Tumbled Glass  and Mowed Lawn.

I made the scalloped frames cut from Primitive White Heavyweight Cardstock with the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge Frames Die-namics. I stamped the background with Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink on Primitive White Cardstock with Crosshatch Background Stamp.

I stamped a sentiment from the Somebunny Sweet Pure Innocence Stamp set and embellished with some stamped and copic-colored eggs from the same set, cut with the coordinating Somebunny Sweet Die-namics. I wrapped the stitched sentiment strip with some hemp twine and added a sprinkling of Your Next Stamp sparkly Gumdrops.

I finished the inside of my Somebunny Sweet Pure Innocence card too. I stamped a shadow image of the PI girl and her little friend with Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink and stamped another sweet sentiment from the set with Black Licorice Hybrid Ink. I created a layered sentiment with my favorite Layered Treat  Tag Die-namics.

And as promised here are some pics of my craftroom...paint colour is Benjamin Moore Coventry Grey.

My room is very small but it works for me and I love having a dedicated space and everything close by and I love being able to close the door on a crafty mess!

The baskets are from Michaels and I just punched a hole with my Crop-A-Dile and hung them on the pegboard hooks. I plan on hanging stamps and dies that I want to use on a specific project or that are NEW so that I remember what I have and use them.

My Dad made these shelves a long time ago but they weren't painted...so when Chris took them down to paint the walls and painted them white. They look great white!

Thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my my spring/easter card with the adorable Pure Innocence Somebunny Sweet Stamp set for the MFT Color Challenge # 138

My Favorite Things - MFTWSC360 & Color Challenge 82...Warmest Wishes

Hello stampin' friends! I'm quickly stopping by with a card for the My Favorite Things Stamps Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch challenge # 360 and the MFT Color Challenge # 82. I used the Winter Warmth Stamp Set and coordinating Winter Warmth Die-namics to make a non-traditional Christmas card.

I made a 5X5 square card and used Blueprints 14. I flipped the sketch around so I could put the sentiment at the top of the card.

I used the rounded corner panel from the Blueprints 14 cut from Natural Heavyweight Card Stock and stencilled with Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink with the Reverse Confetti Pointed Out Stencil. I cut two mitred corner strips from yellow sparkly card stock and then clustered the various stamped images from Winter Warmth Stamp set along the strips.

I stamped a white embossed sentiment from the Hug in a Mug Stamp Set on Neutral Heavyweight Card Stock cut with the fishtail flag from Blueprints 12. I tied the sentiment panel with coral hemp twine and embellished with coral enamel dots. I flicked on some little white splatters with watered-down Sweet Tooth Pigment ink.

And I finished off the inside of my card too...I added another white embossed sentiment from the Hug in a Mug Stamp set popped it up on the Layered Treat Tag Die-namics and I added a few more stamped images from the Winter Warmth Stamp set
Thanks SO much for stopping by and havin' a wee peek at my card for the MFT Sketch Challenge #360 and MFT Color Challenge #82

My Favorite Things Stamps...Color Challenge # 19...I Love Mew

Hey stampin' friends! Just popping by to share the card I made with my new MFT goodies for the April MFT Color Challenge! I also followed one of the sketches from the Blueprints 23 sketch PDF with a few minor adjustments/additions.

  photo MFTCC19G_edited-1RS7_zpsiqzgoiat.jpg

I stamped the On The Diagonal Background Stamp on Whip Cream Heavyweight Card Stock with Memories Pigment ink in Waterfall and cut one of the stitched scalloped borders from Blueprints 23 from Nightshift Heavyweight Card Stock but tucked the scalloped edge under the main panel to show the stitched edge. I popped it all up on the Whip Cream card base.

The little rectangle panel is actually cut with Blueprints 4 and I coloured up the super cute kitten from I Knead You with a ball of yarn and the little speech bubble. I stamped the sentiment from the I Knead You stamp set on the fishtail banner from Blueprints 23 with Nightshift Blue Premium Dye Ink.  I cut a few of the tiny sequins with the die from Blueprints 23 in Sour Apple Heavyweight Card Stock and a few larger ones with the Sequins Die-namics.

This is the inside of my card...I used the Staggered Heart Border Die-namics and the Horizontal Stitched Strips Die-namics and stamped another sentiment and cute kitty from the I Knead You Stamp set

Thanks SO much for visiting and havin' a wee peek at my MFT card for the MFT April Color Challenge # 19!

I used the pretty flowers and basket from the LJD Easter Bunny Stamp set for the focal image and stamped with Natural, Night Shift Blue and Spearmint Premium Dye Ink. I stamped the centres of the flowers with Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink and embossed with Zing White Embossing powder. I used the Woodgrain and Sheet Music Cling Background stamp and stamped a sentiment from the LJD Words of Inspiration Stamp set in Night Shift Premium Dye Ink.
