My Favorite Things...MFT Color Challenge 138 & Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge...You're a Good Egg!

Hello Stampin' friends!!! It has been a very long time since I have made a card and posted here on my blog but I have been staying home and self-isolating/social distancing, like everyone one else, during the COVID19 pandemic. We finally got around to giving my craftroom a refresh with a coat of paint. We had this mini-reno in the works for a while but hadn't got around to it. So, we finally did it! Chris painted and hung up the pegboard that my Dad made for me and my Mum painted it. I love it!!! Everyone did a great job! Scroll down to see some craftroom pics.

So, I made this card with this adorable MFT Somebunny Sweet Pure Innocence stamp. I think she is retired now but this is my first time inking her up. I made this card with the pretty color pallet for the MFT Color Challenge 138.  I am also entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. They have a beautiful spring mood board for inspiration.

I made my card with MFT Heavyweight Cardstock in Primitive White, Razzle Berry, Blu Raspberry and Reverse Confetti Sunshine Cardstock

I coloured the Somebunny Sweet Pure Innocence with my Copic markers and I created a little scene with the flower accessories stamp from the Mud Buddies Pure Innocence Stamp set. I cut the image with my MFT Rectangle STAX Die-namics and did some inking with Distress ink in Tumbled Glass  and Mowed Lawn.

I made the scalloped frames cut from Primitive White Heavyweight Cardstock with the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge Frames Die-namics. I stamped the background with Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink on Primitive White Cardstock with Crosshatch Background Stamp.

I stamped a sentiment from the Somebunny Sweet Pure Innocence Stamp set and embellished with some stamped and copic-colored eggs from the same set, cut with the coordinating Somebunny Sweet Die-namics. I wrapped the stitched sentiment strip with some hemp twine and added a sprinkling of Your Next Stamp sparkly Gumdrops.

I finished the inside of my Somebunny Sweet Pure Innocence card too. I stamped a shadow image of the PI girl and her little friend with Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink and stamped another sweet sentiment from the set with Black Licorice Hybrid Ink. I created a layered sentiment with my favorite Layered Treat  Tag Die-namics.

And as promised here are some pics of my craftroom...paint colour is Benjamin Moore Coventry Grey.

My room is very small but it works for me and I love having a dedicated space and everything close by and I love being able to close the door on a crafty mess!

The baskets are from Michaels and I just punched a hole with my Crop-A-Dile and hung them on the pegboard hooks. I plan on hanging stamps and dies that I want to use on a specific project or that are NEW so that I remember what I have and use them.

My Dad made these shelves a long time ago but they weren't painted...so when Chris took them down to paint the walls and painted them white. They look great white!

Thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my my spring/easter card with the adorable Pure Innocence Somebunny Sweet Stamp set for the MFT Color Challenge # 138

I was inspired by the pretty valentine's colours in the Curtain Call Inspiration photo and the XOXO pattern on the table cloth. I stamped my own XOXO pattern with a stamp from the Big Notes Stamp set in MFT Black Licorice Hybrid Ink and popped up the Cotton Candy stitched frame cut with the All Framed Up Confetti Cuts.
I cut the Topped Off Tag and then cut the Heart Tag Topper from Wild Cherry and inlaid the hearts cut from Cotton Candy Heavyweight Cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the NEW Reverse Confetti Crazy About You Sentiment Set with Reverse Confetti Salsa Red Premium Dye Ink. I stamped and cut a two little envelopes from patterned paper in the True Love 6X6 paper pad with the North Pole Wishes Stamp set and North Pole Wishes Confetti Cuts

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - KKS Challenge # 363 and Color Throwdown #424...Have a sweet day!

Hello stampin' friends! This is my first card of 2017 and I decided to get "Krafty"! I love challenges and so I played along with the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge # 363 - Your Fave Colour....I love GREEN and it just so happened that the Color Throwdown had one of my fave colour combos for CTD # 424 challenge. I also used the fabulous sketch that they have for the KKS January sketch. I had a little look through my KKS stamps and decided to ink up this adorable Lulu from the Lulu and Friends Stamp set.

I LOVE this colour combo and used MFT Heavyweight Cardstock in Black Licorice, Razzel Berry and Sour Apple

This is such a great sketch....LOVE it too!

I made the inked paper with the "Smooshing technique" and used Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress ink. I coloured up Lulu from the Lulu and Friends stamp set with my Copics and cut the image out with my Pierced Rectangle STAX Die-namics and left the image in the die and inked with Spun Sugar Distress ink

I stamped a sentiment from the Lulu and Friends stamp set with Black Licorice Hybrid Ink on the Razzel Berry Heavyweight cardstock cut with the Pierced Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics. The circle element is created with dies from Blueprints 13 and the heart is from the Staggered Heart Border.  I embellished with some black Gumdrops and hemp cord.
