My Favorite Things...WSC Challenge...Floral Fantsay!

Good morning crafty friends! I am back again with another card to share with you! This time I made this card for the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club Challenge which is Floral Fantasy! I used one of my adorable little Pure Innocence Girls for this card. This cutie is actually from the Easter stamp set, My Basket of eggs, but I covered the eggs in her basket with Flower Soft. I also paper pieced her dress with Scenic Route pp and coloured the rest of the image with my Copics and cut her out and pop-dotted her on the Nestie rectangle.

I used this gorgeous Scenic Route paper that I had in my stash....not much of it left now. I will be very sad when it is all gone...love it soooo much! I also used some more of my new found love, crinkled seam binding! This is MS Seam Binding from Micheals that I have had in my stash forever and I just crinkled it myself which was super easy to do! There are a few great YouTube videos available if you are interested here and here. I tied this messy double bow with a button and I think it kind of looks like a flower. I stamped part of the sentiment from another MFT PI set (don't know the name off hand) on the front.

and then stamped the rest of the sentiment on the inside panel.

Thanks for stopping by and having a week peek at my card!
Have a stampin' great day!
Hugs,

Just had to stop & look at your card first - love the image - just discovering these & that bow/flower works so well as texture with the flower soft, I love doing that with flower soft (covering easter eggs in baskets with flower soft to look like flowers) & your paper piecing of the spotty dress is glorious with the inside decoration of the card.

This is lovely. Your crinkled ribbon is delicious and the flower soft in her basket too! I never tried paperpiecing before, but it looks so nice on your card that I think I will try it some time.

This is scrumptious! Love the unusual color palette and, of course, your wonderful layout. I have to get my hands on some of that seam binding. It's all the rage now and I feel like I am missing out. Especially when I see how beautifully you've used it in your cards ;D Hugz, Cheryl
