playin' catch up with Friday Sketchers #10!!!

So, I finally got my summer Stampclub set and they are all sooo adorable. I have to tell you it was terrible to abandon them last weekend to go camping, smile. At least I was able to get them mounted on EZmount before I went. I am not sure if you all know about this tip for mounting stamps with EZmount but I will share anyways, smile. I found a cool video on YouTube showing how to mount your stamps on EZmount using a hot knife tool, check it out here if you are interested. I tried it and it worked fabulously!!! Now, maybe I am being overly picky but I was a tinsy winsy bit disappointed when I got my stamps. I only got 5 angles and not the 6-7 as promised on the Magnolia Stampclub website and I got two of the breadbaskets, well I guess you can never have too many breadbaskets. Oh no, that is you can never have too many stamps, right, got it!!!...Oh well, they are still my absolute favourite stamps in whole wide world and I just love this Edwin serving drinks. It make me think of a song that they have been playin' on the radio and it really gets me dancin'...."Love in this Club", by Usher. I really like this line in the song and thought it would make a sassy little sentiment.

I used a new 6X6 pack a BG pp that I picked this week. It is called Euphoria and I just love, love, love it!!! It is just sooooo much fun to work with...love the colour combos. The card base measures 6x6 and I stamped Edwin on Georgia pacific paper with Archival Brilliance Graphite black ink and coloured him in with my Copics and cut him out. I cut the Euphoria pp into a circle with my cuttlebug and the classic circle Nestibilites die and cut the blue bling cardstock with the petite scalloped die. The sentiment is computer generated with one of the many fonts that I have from Two Peas in a Bucket. I also stamped the little cocktail drink with the strawberry, coloured it in with the copics, added some diamond glaze to it and cut it out.
Thanks for having a look....I have a few more posts to make today so that I will be pretty much caught up!!!
Thanks for stoppin' by!!!
