Reverse Confetti...March Release Blog Hop...Just Bee You

Hello fellow 'Fetti Fans! Here's the buzz...over the last 3 days, we've been counting down, sharing sneak peeks of all the NEW Reverse Confetti March Release and the day we've been waiting for is finally here! The NEW March Release is NOW AVAILABLE at the Reverse Confetti store...Whoo hoo!!!

You won't want to miss any of the stops along the way as all the Designers have bee-u-tiful inspiration to share today!  

I've been seeing so many beautiful cards with a watercolour wash background that I thought I would give it a try! So, I set my Copic markers aside, pulled out my Peerless Watercolours, watercolour paper and the NEW The Buzz Stamp set. I used the Watercolour Wash Technique to make the background panels and added some splatters with Heidi Swap Teal Color Shine. I stamped the bee hive, large bee and tiny bee with VersaFine Vintage Sepia ink, watercolored them too, cut them out with the coordinating The Buzz Confetti Cuts and popped them up on the panel cut with the Documented Confetti Cuts.

I stamped this sweet sentiment from the NEW The Buzz Stamp set with VersaFine Vintage Sepia Ink directly on the background panel. I cut out the sun with the NEW Sun'n Clouds Confetti Cuts from some water colour paper that was painted with yellow Peerless Watercolours and added a little circle to the centre of the sun that I cut with the small circle die from the Donut You Know Confetti Cuts. I embellished with some brown cord layered over a little flower from the NEW The Tweet Life Confetti Cuts and a sprinkling of yellow Gumdrops fished it off.  

I finished off the inside of my card too...I stamped another sentiment from the NEW The Buzz Stamp set and added another watercoloured bee hive and stamped a shadow image of the tiny bee with VersaFine Vintage Sepia ink.

I was inspired to make a scene card with the fun NEW Sun 'n Clouds Confetti Cuts...I'm SO excited to add this fabulous set to my Confetti Cuts collection. I used the Documented Confetti Cuts to cut down the rainbow Quick Card Panel and made a tree with the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts and the branch die from the NEW The Tweet Life Confetti Cuts. I used the Double Scallop Border Confetti Cuts to add in some grass. I stamped a sentiment from the NEW The Tweet Life Stamp set, stamped on the small fishtail flag from the Documented Confetti Cuts. 

I finished off the inside of my card too...the sentiment is from the fabulous NEW Shine Bright Stamp set, stamped on the panel cut with the Documented Confetti Cuts. To add a little extra dimension I cut a small circle with the die from the Donut You Know Confetti Cuts and added it to the centre on the sun from the NEW Sun 'N Clouds Confetti Cuts.

Reverse Confetti...March Countdown to Confetti...The Tweet Life

Hey fellow 'Fetti friends, today we kick-off the Reverse Confetti - March Countdown to Confetti with a spring fling! I'm totally in LOVE with all the cute spring-themed stamps and Confetti Cuts that we have for you this month! Today I'm featuring the incredibly "tweet" set The Tweet Life and the coordinating The Tweet Life Confetti Cuts. I also used the fabulous NEW Spring Fling - Quick Card Panels.

I made this card in no time flat with the fabulous NEW Spring Fling Quick Card Panels...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Quick Card Panels! I especially LOVE this panel and how quick and easy it was to make a little scene, sentiment included! The NEW The Tweet Life Stamp set and NEW The Tweet Life Confetti Cuts are super CUTE! I coloured up this tweet little birdie from the set with my Copics, cut him out easy-peasy with the The Tweet Life Confetti Cuts and popped him up on the Spring Fling Quick Card panel.

The NEW Tweet Life Stamp set comes with a stamp that give you the option to add in the polka dot pattern to this bird. Stamping it with Bahama Blue Memento ink adds some quick colour to the image and it's compatible with my Copics.

I used the Documented Confetti Cuts to cut out the window in the cardstock panel and popped it up with dimensional adhesive. I wanted the little birdie to look like he was in flight and I used the "flight pattern" stamp from the Here We Go Stamp set, stamping directly on the panel from the NEW Spring Fling Quick Card Panels. I also cut out some of the little flowers in the The Tweet Life Confetti Cuts and stamped them with the little flower in The Tweet Life Stamp set. 

I finished of the inside of my card too....but in an understated way. I added a sentiment from NEW The Tweet Life Stamp set and I stamped the loopy border from the Tinsel 'n Trim Stamp set. I also used the Petals 'n Posies Confetti Cuts layered with the flower from the NEW The Tweet Life Stamp and cut out with the NEW The Tweet Life Confetti Cuts.

Reverse Confetti...SFYTT # 22 - Puppy Love...Thank You

Hello fellow 'Fetti Fans! Well, it's the first day of March and I'm hoping and praying that this means spring is just around the corner. I don't know about you, but I'm SO done with this winter!

The start of a new month means a NEW Reverse Confetti - Sketch For You To Try! We have another fabulously versatile sketch for you this month - SFYTT # 22! I used this contemporary colour palette that I found on Pinterest for my card.

The other day, when perusing Pinterest, I saw the cutest card by Amy Kolling. She used a flower die to create a cloud for a little circular scene. I thought this was a brilliant idea so I reached for my Reverse Confetti Circles 'N Scallops and Love Blooms Confetti Cuts to make my very own little scene and inlaid the "cloud" sky and rolling hills. I also used the Whole Lotta of Dots Stamp set and stamped a tone-on-tone row of dots, on the panel cut with the Documented Confetti Cuts. 

 

 

I coloured up the dapper doggie from the Reverse Confetti Puppy Love Stamp set with my NEW Chameleon Color Tone Markers, cut him out with the coordinating Puppy Love Confetti Cuts and popped him up on the scene panel. I stamped the polka dot tie accessory stamp from the Puppy Love Stamp set with Nautical Blue Momento Ink. Finally, I added a sprinkling of pretty mint Gumdrops and stamped a sentiment from the Forever Fall Stamp set.

I finished off the inside of my card too...I stamped the sentiment from the Here We Go Stamp set and I coloured the dog dish and bones stamp from the Puppy Love Stamp set with my NEW Chameleon Color Tone Markers and cut out the image with the coordinating Puppy Love Confetti Cuts. The little hearts are cut with the Donut You Know Confetti Cuts.
