Sandie and Irina, from La La Land Crafts, asked me if I would join the La La Land Crafts as a Guest Designer for May and June! I of course, jumped at the chance to join the super talented team and play with some CUTE LLLC stamps, like Marci and Luka....just the cutest! I am SO looking forward to playing along with the fabulous Friday Inspiration team!

Today the Friday Design Team is sharing cards with the Fabulous La La Land Crafts, Girlfriends collection! I'm using Ally here on my card and I've coloured her with my Copics (see below for the Copic colours that I've used) and cut her out and pop-dotted her on the card. I teamed her up with this gorgeous MME paper A Happy Heart. I have used several MFT Die-namics here too, Layered Labels Die-namics, Vertical Greetings label Die-namics, the Monarch Border Die-namics and the sentiments are from the MFT More Essential Sentiments set.

Well, thanks SO much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my first GDT card for La La Land Crafts. For my card I thought this sweet A La Modes Talk Nerdy to Me stamp set would go nicely with the fun Simple Stories, FabUlous 6x6 papers. I've been flipping the sketchs around lately and did again this week. I coloured the ALM girl with my Copics and paper pieced her out fit and the giant pencil. I used the Notebook Edge Die-namics and layered it with cotton trim and some pretty Caribbean Twinery Twine. I stamped part of this wonderful sentiment on kraft cardstock cut with the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics. The flowers are cut with the Flower and Leaf Trio Die-namics and have BG brads in the centers.

Here is the inside....I stamped the ALM girl again, I stamped the rest of the sentiment on another Fishtail Flag STAX, a few more Flowers and I cut a photo corner with the Photo Corner Die-namics.

I coloured him with my Copics and did quite a bit of paper piecing here...I even pieced his bat from some wood-grain papers in this pad. I cut the image with the New fabulous Rectangle STAX Die-namics and made a thin mat too. I also inked around the image with Old Paper Distress ink to add some shading. I decided to add a little texture to the card and cut the burlap material with a large Rectangle STAX Die-namics die and then just pulled a few of the threads to make it look a little more worn. The sweet sentiment comes in the set and is stamped on white cardstock cut with the File Tab Die-namics.

Here is the inside of the card...I stamped the PI Baseball Boy again and this sentiment is from the fabulous new Pure Innocence All Occasion sentiment set....a must-have for PI fans as the sentiments are in the coordinating PI Font and are all the perfect sentiments that you will need to enhance you PI collection.

Here is the card that I've made to feature the new Girly Graphic Tee Stamp and Die-namics set. This fabulous set is SO on trend, SO cute, So FUN and a must-have set! I have to say, I am quite happy with how my card turned out and all because this Girly Graphic Tee set made it come together so easily!

I decided to make a little Rocker Girl Tee...like the ones I had in high school with the name of my fave Rock band on it...this one is much cuter, smile! So, I cut two Tees with the great Tee Die-namics die, one from brown cardstock and one from the patterned paper from the pretty Simple Stories FabUlous 6x6 paper pad. I used my Fingertip Swivel Kraft Knife to cut the sleeves, neck and hem off the Tee to layered it over the dark brown cardstock Tee! I used several of the super fun sentiments in this set to create my own personalised Graphic Tee....how cool is that!? I also used the new Vertical Greetings II label Die-namics die and cut it from Chocolate Cork material. I used my beloved Fishtail Flags STAX, the new Mini Scallop Edge, The Flower Trio and the circle tag from the Let's Toast Die-namics.

Here is the inside...I cut the Vertical Greetings II Die-namics label from Chocolate Cork the Happy Birthday sentiment is from The Big Greetings Stamp set and the word bestfriend is the Girl Graphic Tee Stamp and Die-namics set.

So, for my card today I have used this adorable Pure Innocence stamp set from the new May release called Goldfish Girl...how sweet is she!? I thought she would look cute paired up with these pretty Pink Paislee Prairie Hill 6x6 papers. I coloured Goldfish Girl with my Copics and paper pieced her and the stand that the Goldfish bowl is on. I thought I would dot in some fish food with my Sepia Copic Multi-liner and then added a little Sakura Stardust pen for some sparkle!

I cut the image out with the fabulous new Rectangle STAX Die-namics. Love how thin the matting is when you alternate with both STAX 1 and STAX 2...really you need to get both....just sayin', smile! I have inked with Tumbled Glass Distress ink around my image by making a mask with Eclipse tape...you can see the instructions HERE.  I'm LOVIN' the new Mini Scallop Edge Die-namics from this release. I thought in keeping with the fish theme of this card I would flip the edge around to get a wavy edge and I just had to use my Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics too. The cute sentiment is from the Goldfish Girl Stamp set and I stamped it on the Oval Tab Die-namics.

Here is the inside of my card...I stamped the PI Goldfish Girl again with Potter's Clay memento ink and used another one of the great sentiments from this set. I stamped in on the Sweet Stack label Die-namics!

For my card I used one of the 2 new and super cute A La Modes stamp sets from this release and paired her up with this beautiful Echo Park Paper Co. This & That, Graceful 6x6 papers. This ALM stamp set is called, I've Got UR back...I just adore this girl, I coloured her with my Copics and I think the giant UR is so fun! I instantly knew I wanted to paper piece those big letters. I cut the image out with the fabulous new Rectangle STAX Die-namics...a must-have from this release and inked with Old Paper and Spun Sugar Distress ink by first making a mask with Eclipse tape...HERE are the instructions. The ALM I've Got UR back set comes with several sentiment stamps to create fun sayings! You can interpret UR as your or you are...I stamped the "I've Got" sentiment on one of the mini File Tabs from the Mini Tabs Foursome Die-namics then on the Notched Tag, I stamped the "#1" (from the new Girly Graphic Tee Stamp set) very faintly and then over it I stamped the word "Number" that comes in the ALM I've Got UR Back set.

Here is the inside...I just inked up the ALM Girl, wiping away the UR with a baby wipe. I used the new Designer Label 1 STAX and Rectangle STAX Die-namics. This sentiment is from the Big Greetings Stamp set.

Today, I have a card that I made with the gorgeous Vertical Greetings II set...I LOVE this set and the beautiful sentiments and the great new Vertical Greetings II Die-namics label. I made this card with MME Follow Your Heart, Be Amazing. I am on a bit of a twill tape kick. I got this gorgeous wide twill tape from MFT some time ago and I decided to stamp parts of the sentiment stamp on it and then cut it out with the Fishtail Flags STAX. I cut the new Vertical Greetings Die-namics die from corrugated cardboard and the new Die-namics Photo Corner. I stamped the word "life" from one of the other sentiments from this set and then cut it out with the little tag from the Let's Toast Stamp and Die-namics set.

Here is the inside...I used one of the other 4 sentiments from this Vertical Greetings II set and I also used Joanne B.'s "Die-namics Cut and Re-cut" technique to short the die to fit the sentiment. I added a little more stamped twill tape and I added another little stamped tag focusing on the word "Life" from the sentiment that I used on the front of the card.

Thanks for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card for today's MFT Teaser for the May release! Take a peek over at Kim's blog for a list of other MFT Designers with teasers for today!
