Here is the great sketch that we have for you to use this week!!!
So even thought this week's sketch has a simple design this card took me FOREVER...not sure what happened to my mojo but I was definitely suffering from some "stamper's block" on this one. I also revisited colouring on Copic X-press It blending paper and inked up this super cute NEW MFT Doddle Garden - Far Out Stamp. This one is probably my fourth or fifth attempt...the others all ended up in the bin. I am not totally happy with this attempt either but it is much better than the others...don't look too closely :) please. I will just have to keep practicing on the X-press It paper as I do love the results that everyone else gets with it.
I made the card with BasicGrey Lucile 6x6 paper pad and matted with MFT Replenishments Heavyweight Card Stock in Steel Grey, Orange Fiz and Sno Cone. I popped the NEW Doddle Garden - Far Out girl up on the oval panel cut with the Oval STAX Die-namics and the Oval Open Scallop Doily Die-namics. I added a Steel Grey Grosgrain Ribbon and a Orange Fiz button tied with Hemp Cord. The sentiment from the Doodle Garden - Far Out Stamp Set was stamped with MFT Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink on Whip Cream Heavyweight Card Stock cut with the Howdy Frames Die-namics.
Here is the inside...I stamped the Doodle Garden - Far Out girl again in MFT Sno Cone Premium Dye Ink and added the Open Heart Border Die-namics and stamped a sentiment from the Gift card Greetings II Stamp Set with MFT Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.
Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card for this week's MFTWSC106. Please take a sec to pop on over to Kim's blog for links to all the MFT Designers with cards today! Don't forget to upload your card to the SCS gallery using the keyword MFTWSC106 by Tuesday, January 15th at noon EST, for your chance at our weekly prize! The lucky winner will receive a $15 gift voucher and if the winner uses MFT stamps, they will receive $5 in bonus bucks, for a total of $20!!! Looking forward to seeing you get sketchy with us this week!
Happy Stampin'!

I think your card is beautiful. You did a great job coloring the image. Love the papers and colors and all the dies you used. TFS
Love the colours, the pretty lacy oval and backing paper. She's just groovy!
She really is the cutest image ever!!!! I like how you set the circle off to the side. Ok, you lost me....I can't figure out why I shouldn't look closely....Stunning coloring! Did you pop up the head band? I can't figure out how you did that if you did and if not, it makes your coloring even more stunning because it really looks 3d!
This is so adorable and pretty all wrapped into one card!
Tara,
You know I don't know much about colouring with copics (ok....I know nothing about it) but I do recognize a great job when I see it and the hair and shading is fantastic!!! I, like Angie am baffled at how the headband looks 3d. I'm coming over to raid your bin because your discards even are more beautiful than anything I could do!!! Keep up the beautiful work. Off to share on my pinterest...hope you don't mind!!! Tea soon? xo
I don't know what you're talking about.....I think it's fantastic!!! so beautiful!
