So, for my card today I have used this adorable Pure Innocence stamp set from the new May release called Goldfish Girl...how sweet is she!? I thought she would look cute paired up with these pretty Pink Paislee Prairie Hill 6x6 papers. I coloured Goldfish Girl with my Copics and paper pieced her and the stand that the Goldfish bowl is on. I thought I would dot in some fish food with my Sepia Copic Multi-liner and then added a little Sakura Stardust pen for some sparkle!

I cut the image out with the fabulous new Rectangle STAX Die-namics. Love how thin the matting is when you alternate with both STAX 1 and STAX 2...really you need to get both....just sayin', smile! I have inked with Tumbled Glass Distress ink around my image by making a mask with Eclipse tape...you can see the instructions HERE.  I'm LOVIN' the new Mini Scallop Edge Die-namics from this release. I thought in keeping with the fish theme of this card I would flip the edge around to get a wavy edge and I just had to use my Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics too. The cute sentiment is from the Goldfish Girl Stamp set and I stamped it on the Oval Tab Die-namics.

Photobucket
Here is the inside of my card...I stamped the PI Goldfish Girl again with Potter's Clay memento ink and used another one of the great sentiments from this set. I stamped in on the Sweet Stack label Die-namics!

Well, thanks SO much for swimming by and havin' wee peek at my card....head on over to Kim's blog for a list of all the fabulous MFT designers with gorgeous PI creations for you today!!! See you back here tomorrow for the big day...The MFT release, including all new stamp sets and Die-namics, is tomorrow, May 1 at 10 PM EST.

Have a stampin' great day!
hugs,

For my card I used one of the 2 new and super cute A La Modes stamp sets from this release and paired her up with this beautiful Echo Park Paper Co. This & That, Graceful 6x6 papers. This ALM stamp set is called, I've Got UR back...I just adore this girl, I coloured her with my Copics and I think the giant UR is so fun! I instantly knew I wanted to paper piece those big letters. I cut the image out with the fabulous new Rectangle STAX Die-namics...a must-have from this release and inked with Old Paper and Spun Sugar Distress ink by first making a mask with Eclipse tape...HERE are the instructions. The ALM I've Got UR back set comes with several sentiment stamps to create fun sayings! You can interpret UR as your or you are...I stamped the "I've Got" sentiment on one of the mini File Tabs from the Mini Tabs Foursome Die-namics then on the Notched Tag, I stamped the "#1" (from the new Girly Graphic Tee Stamp set) very faintly and then over it I stamped the word "Number" that comes in the ALM I've Got UR Back set.
Photobucket
Here is the inside...I just inked up the ALM Girl, wiping away the UR with a baby wipe. I used the new Designer Label 1 STAX and Rectangle STAX Die-namics. This sentiment is from the Big Greetings Stamp set.

Well, thanks so much for stopping by for a wee peek at my ALM card featuring one of the new stamp set, I've Got UR Back! Now hop on over to Kim's blog for links to all the other MFT Designers with ALM creations to share with you today!

Today, I have a card that I made with the gorgeous Vertical Greetings II set...I LOVE this set and the beautiful sentiments and the great new Vertical Greetings II Die-namics label. I made this card with MME Follow Your Heart, Be Amazing. I am on a bit of a twill tape kick. I got this gorgeous wide twill tape from MFT some time ago and I decided to stamp parts of the sentiment stamp on it and then cut it out with the Fishtail Flags STAX. I cut the new Vertical Greetings Die-namics die from corrugated cardboard and the new Die-namics Photo Corner. I stamped the word "life" from one of the other sentiments from this set and then cut it out with the little tag from the Let's Toast Stamp and Die-namics set.

Photobucket
Here is the inside...I used one of the other 4 sentiments from this Vertical Greetings II set and I also used Joanne B.'s "Die-namics Cut and Re-cut" technique to short the die to fit the sentiment. I added a little more stamped twill tape and I added another little stamped tag focusing on the word "Life" from the sentiment that I used on the front of the card.

Thanks for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card for today's MFT Teaser for the May release! Take a peek over at Kim's blog for a list of other MFT Designers with teasers for today!

I've used this sweet bunny, Flopsey, from the new Two Scoops for Flopsey stamp set. He sure makes me long for summer and two scoops of some yummy Gelato! I thought I would use these pretty MME 6x6 Follow Your Heart, Be Happy papers that make me think of a warm summer breeze and a cool treat! I colourd Flopsey with my Copics and cut him out and pop-dotted him up on the panel cut with the new gorgeous Designer Labels 1 STAX Die-namics.  As I said yesterday, I can't get enough of the new Mini Scallop Edge Die-namics and so I used it again on my Flopsey card. I cut some Twill tape with the larger of the 2 ribbon Die-namics from the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics and tucked the little twill flags under my flowers. I stamped one of the cute sentiments from this set on the smaller ribbon die. I sprinkled around some pink half pearls and added some Honeydew Twinery Twine from MFT.

Here is the inside...I stamped Flopsey again and used another one of the cute sentiments from this set.

My Favorite Things Stamps...WSC # 69...Two Souls...!

Photobucket

Hello stampin' friends! I am back to share the card that I made with this week's fabulous MFT Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch! If you would like to get sketchy with us just make a card or creation following this week's sketch and upload it to the SCS using the proper keyword, MFTWSC69 by Tuesday, May 1st at noon EST, for your chance at our weekly prize! The lucky winner will receive a $15 gift voucher and if the winner uses MFT stamps, they will receive $5 in bonus bucks, for a total of $20!!!

My co-worker asked me to make a wedding card for her boyfriend's daughter's nuptials. The wedding couple are from Calgary, Alberta and are country through n' through! She asked me if I could incorporate a country theme into the card and use the wedding colours, purple and teal. So, I put my thinking cap on and this is what I came up with.

Photobucket

I followed this week's MFTWSC69 sketch and I flipped it on its side and added a sentiment panel but I think you can still see the original layout. It was great not having to worry about the card design at least...gotta love the MFTWSC sketches for that!

I decided on BasicGrey Plumeria 6x6 papers and I wanted the card to be a little more elegant so I used a beautiful sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental about Romance stamp set for the focal. I stamped it on patterned paper cut from the Clearly Sentimental Label Die-namics. I added lots of felt Royal Roses cut from My Favorite Felt in Wisteria and Blue Skies. I cut some of them to be a bit smaller to vary the size. I had the purple tulle in my stash and it really added to the wedding theme as did the gold brads, gold hat pin and gold pearls from my stash too. To incorporate the country theme I used the Cowboy hat and boot charm from the MFT Country Charms Die-namics set.

Photobucket
Here is the inside...I used the layered Labels, Fishtail Flags, Pinking edge, Country Charms, Royal Rose Die-nmaics here too. The sentiment is from the Big Greetings Stamp set.

Photobucket
I was inspired by Inge's gorgeous door hanger here to make one for the newlywed couple to hang on the door on their weeding night. I thought it would be fun to make it a bit sassy too and had the perfect idea. So, I coloured up the PI Cowboy and Cowgirl with my Copics and paper pieced them. I cut them out and pop-dotted them on the door hanger which is the Wine Bottle label from the MFT Let's Toast set. I used this "Knockin' Boots" sentiment from the Twisted Sentiments set that you can find here in the Tounge in Check section at MFT

Well, thanks So much for moseying on over and havin' a wee gander at my country inspired wedding card and door hanger! Swing on over to Kim's blog for links to all the other MFT Designers with cards for the new MFTWSC69 sketch!

Happy Stampin'!

I just think this golf/birthday themed WTG stamp and sentiments set is SO cute and playful and I wanted to make my golfing girl have a fun, bright and funky golfing outfit and bag, just like the pros! So, I pulled out this older BasicGrey pad called Life of the Party from my stash. Then, I coloured my WTG Plays Golf with my Copics and paper pieced her pants, top, glove, and part of her bag. I coloured a second arm and cut it out so that the paper piecing of her top and arm would be level and in proper dimension. I coloured the interior of the golf bag with my a yellow Copic marker as it was a bit to tight to paper piece around the golf clubs. I added a little shading around the WTG with my BG0000 Copic maker.

Once again, in this release we have fabulous Die-namics for you to add to your collection. I have used one of my new absolute faves...the Mini Scallop Edge Die-namics. I can't get enough of it...it just adds the perfect little detail. I also used the great new Squiggle Border Die-namics and I added some red peals along it.  I also stamped part of one of the cute sentiments on the Wavy Flag Die-namics.
    Photobucket
Here is the inside...I stamped just the WTG by taking a baby wipe and wiping away the borderline around the image. I used another one of the "tee-riffic" sentiments in this set and the sweet stacks Die-namics with the larger ribbon die from the First Place Award ribbon Die-namics.

Thanks SO much for swinging by and having a wee peek at my WTG MFTeaser card for today. Now play on through to Kim's blog for the links to the other MFT Designers with gorgeous creations featuring the new WTG Plays Golf set.

    Happy Stampin'!

I flipped the sketch this week and inked up this precious new MFT Mouse in the House, Do Not Disturb stamp set. It's the newest addition to the Pure Innocence line...gosh, I just love him to bits. I teamed him up with some gorgeous MME, Follow Your Heart - Be Amazing, 6x6 papers.

I coloured the Mouse in the House with my Copics and paper pieced the Chair, Ottoman and his shirt. I also used several Die-namics dies too. I stamped one of the sentiments from the Mouse in the House Do Not Disturb set on the tag from the Let's Toast Die-namics and Stamp set, used my Simply Scalloped border Die-namics and my Fishtail Tags STAX Die-namics. I added some Cappuccino Twinery Twine from MFT, a sprinkling of brown half-pearls and a few flowers here and there.
    Photobucket
Here is the inside....I stamped the wee mouse again and another one of the sentiments from the set on a tag that I made with the Circle STAX Die-namics...the heart is stamped with one of the heart stamps from the Let's Toast Stamp set.
