Penguin Paradise!

Aloha! Aren't these Imaginisce penguin stamps just adorable! I knew I "needed" to have this paper and the cute little hula penguin stamps when I watched a video posted on-line from CHA winter of all the new Imaginisce product.

Well, I went to a crop last night at Scrapbooks by Design with some girlfriends....Lots of fun but not a lot accomplished as per usual...we spend more time chatting than scrapping, lol! When I saw these cuties there I had to snatch them up...YAY, for penguins in paradise! I also got the large circle and large petite scalloped circle set of Nestibilites. I was so excited to see that they had them in stock I was gitty with delight. I think the other reason why I really love these little Penguins in Paradise is because Chris and I have been talking about taking a Hawaiian cruise (sans kids, of course)...well, we are still in the talking/planning stage....but it is rather exciting!

This card was made with the Imaginisce A shore thing PP and the adorable little penguin stamps. I coloured her in with my Copic markers and used my new Nestibilites to cut her out. The large scallopped mat behind is a QK limited addition revolution flower die. I punched several flowers out of the PP and pop-dotted them. The Sentiment is from MFT How Sweet it is set. It is stamped on a chipboard tag from the dollar store. For the inside sentiment I used MFT Essential Sentiments stamp that reads...."Cool...you made my day! Thanks". Also, added some American Craft ribbon and one little popsicle rub-on from the co-ordinating rub-on sheet, just so she could have a cool treat too.

For this card I started with a piece of blue bling for the base. Again, I used the co-ordinating Imaginisce line..."A shore Thing" and the penguin stamps. I coloured this little guy in with my Copics and cut out the circle with my new Nestibilities. I mounted it on green bling cut with the petite scallop Nestibilites die. I used my MM ribbon notch tool and laced in some American Craft ribbon. I cut a tab out on my Silhouette and stamped the MFT sentiment stamp from the Tongue in Cheek sentiments set. I accented the card with a stardust pen. The inside sentiment says "Thanks...I had a ball!" which I printed on my computer in Wendy Medium.

Well, I gotta go...we are having dinner soon and then going swimming at the recreation centre!

Thanks for stopping by!
