My Favorite Things Stamps...March Teaser Time Day 6...PI - Under the Weather!

Today I inked up the sweet NEW Pure Innocence Under the Weather Stamp set! I paired her with the pretty BasicGrey True Love 6x6 paper pad and used the NEW Electric Red Heavyweight Card Stock and Blu Raspberry, Bubblegum and  Sweet Tooth Heavyweight Card Stock. I coloured the PI Under the Weather girl with my Copics, paper pieced the image and cut it out with my Circle STAX Die-namics. Then I inked with Spun Sugar Distress ink. I wish I looked this cute when I'm sick :)

I also used a few of the elements from the fabulous NEW Blueprints 1 Die-namics....this fabulous set makes quick work of a A2 sized cards but I love the different die-namics in the Blueprints 1 for larger cards too....a must-have set!  I used the large Scallop Rectangle Die-namics and my Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I also used the Stitched Border from the Blueprints 1 Die-namics. The border wasn't long enough to span my 6x6 card but that's okay, I cheated it,  by cutting it in half and tucking it under the edge of the Scalloped panel. I stamped one of the sentiments from the NEW Pure Innocence Under the Weather Stamp set  with the NEW Electric Red Premium Dye Ink, on Sweet Tooth Heavyweight Card Stock. Then cut it out with the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics and matted with the Fishtail Layers STAX Die-namics and re-cut the other end so that both ends had the fishtail. 

Here is the inside...I stamped a shadow image of the NEW Pure Innocence Under the Weather girl in the NEW Blue Raspberry Premium Dye Ink. Again I used the Stitched Border from the NEW Blueprints 1 Die-namics and used the Sweet Stack Die-namics. I stamped another sentiment from the NEW PI Under the Weather Stamp set in the NEW Electric Red Premium Dye Ink.

Today I have inked up the adorable NEW Doodle Garden Party Time Stamp set...isn't she the cutest?! I coloured her up with my Copics and paper pieced her outfit. I paired her up with the Pretty BasicGrey Lucile 6x6 papers and matted with the NEW Electric Red Heavyweight Card Stock with Sno Cone, Bubblegum and Sweet Tooth Heavyweight Card Stock. I also used the NEW Party Hat Border Die-namics. I decided to string along the card as a banner. I pop-dotted the NEW DG Party Time girl on the Open Scallop Doily Die-namics cut from the NEW Electric Red Heavyweight Card Stock. I stamped the sentiment from the NEW Doodle Garden Party Time Stamp Set on tags from the NEW Blueprints 1 Die-namics.

Here is the inside...I stamped the DG Party Time girl again in the NEW Electric Red Premium Dye Ink and I added another Party Hat Border with the NEW party Hat Border Die-namics and stamped another sentiment from the NEW Doodle Garden Party Time Stamp set.

I made two cards today with the NEW a´ la modes Big Birthday Numbers Stamp set which co-ordinate perfectly with the a´ la modes Big Birthday Wishes Stamp set.  For my first card I used Echo Park For the Record 2 6x6 Paper pad as the colours coordinate beautiful with the NEW Blu Raspberry and NEW Gumdrop Green Premium Dye Ink pads that we are releasing this month. I also used MFT Replenishments Blu Raspberry and Gumdrop Green Heavyweight Card Stock.

 I coloured the ALM Big Birthday Wishes girl with my Copics and paper pieced her out fit and popped her up on the panel cut with the Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I also used the Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX Die-namics and then stamped the numbers from the NEW Big Birthday Numbers Stamp Set on pattern paper and Kraft Heavyweight card stock. I cut out the numbers and layered and adhered the pattern paper over the Kraft cardstock so that my numbers had more stability. I then added pop dots to the back of the numbers and placed them on the Jumbo Banner. I stamped one of the sentiments from the NEW Big Birthday Numbers Stamp set on Whip Cream Heavyweight Card Stock cut with the Sentiments Strips Die-namics and stamped with the NEW Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink.

One of my new favorite new Die-namics from this month's release is the NEW Party Banner Die-namics....SO cute! I used the "cut and re-cut" technique to shorten the banner to be the length of Jumbo Fishtail Banner.  I wanted the Party Banners to have a clean finished edge on both sides instead of trimming it with scissors or a paper trimmer and finally, I added some gems to the banners. 

Here is the inside...I stamped the ALM Big Birthday Wishes girl in NEW Gumdrop Green Premium Dye Ink and added a few more strips of the fabulous NEW Party Banner Die-namics and stamped another sentiment from the NEW Big Birthday Numbers Stamp set. 

For my Second card, I used the same layout with Echo Park Co. Sweet Day 6x6 paper pad, with the ALM Big Birthday Wishes girl, coloured her with my Copics and paper pieced her out-fit. Again, I stamped out the numbers from the NEW Big Birthday Numbers Stamp set from pattern paper and Kraft cardstock.

I stamped a sentiment from the NEW Big Birthday Numbers Stamp set on the Sentiments Strips with Wild Cherry Premium Dye Ink. 

Here is the inside...I stamped the ALM Big Birthday Wishes girl on Kraft and cut her out. I stamped the sentiment from the Big Birthday Wishes Stamp set.

This month MFT is Introducing Blueprints – The Foundation for Your Creativity! Whether you have limited time, or simply need a creative jumpstart; Blueprints is your answer! A design plan and building blocks in one revolutionary product.  Follow the provided sketches, or mix and match the elements provided to become your own architect.  Leave the heavy lifting to us. I have used the NEW Blueprints 1 Die-namics with the NEW Birthday Sentiments Stamp set and the NEW Lollipop Additions - Birthday stamp set.  MFT has also designed a PDF for Blueprints 1 of sketches to use with the Blueprints 1 Die-namics and it is available on the MFT site for you to save and print out.  The Sketches will make quick work of creating cards using the NEW Blueprints 1 Die-namics. I've used the Sketches from the PDF for Blueprints 1 Die-namics for these two cards.

I am beyond excited about the NEW Blueprints 1 Die-namics...this is a must-have Die-namics set. It is absolutely fabulous...I think I 'm addicted to using it!!! These cards came together so quickly which I LOVE as I tend to be such a slow crafter. I also used the fabulous Birthday Sentiments Stamp set and the Lollipop Additions - Birthday Stamp set for the first card and tried my hand at the chalkboard technique by embossing with the AC Zing White Embossing powder. I've also used the gorgeous NEW Electric Red Heavyweight Card Stock and Electric Red Buttons. 

Here I made a 3 cute little Lollipop Treats with the NEW Lollipop Additions - Birthday Stamp Set with the NEW Electric Red Heavyweight Card Stock with Black Licorice and Whip Cream Heavyweight Card Stock. 

For this card again I used the Blueprints 1 Die-namics, the PDF Blueprints that are available on the MFT webstie and the NEW Birthday Sentiments Stamp set. I used one of the border stamp from the NEW Lollipop Additions - Birthday Stamp set and stamped it along the stitched border from the Blueprints 1 Die-namics.

Here is the inside...very simple I used the various die-namics elements from the Blueprints 1 Die-namics and I used stamps from the Lollipop Additions - Birthday Stamp set.

My Favorite Things Stamps...WSC # 114...I Miss You!

I love this sketch this week and I cracked open one on my new My Minds Eye 6x6 paper pads called Unforgettable. I love this sweet little Pure Innocence One of My Favorite Peeps Stamp set. I coloured her with my Copics, paper pieced her dress,  cut her out and popped her up on the card front.

The MFT march Teasers have started and we are releasing the gorgeous NEW Electric Red....I LOVE this new colour!!! I used the NEW Electric Red Heavyweight Card Stock, Electric Red Grosgrain Ribbon and Electric Red Buttons. I stamped the sentiment from the PI One of My Favorite Peeps Stamp set on Sweet Tooth heavyweight Card Stock with the NEW Electric Red Premium Dye Ink, cut with the Mini Tab Foursome Die-namics.

Here is the inside...I stamped the PI One of my Favorite Peeps girl with the NEW Electric Red Premium Dye Ink and stamped two other sentiments from the PI One of My Favorite Peeps Stamp set with the NEW Electric Red Premium Dye Ink.

I made two cards and a tag with this gorgeous NEW Pretty Poppies and the Poppy Builder Die-namics, which is my new favourite flower Die-namics. I used Authetique Lovely 6x6 paper pad and mattted with Black Licorice, Pink Bubblegum and Wild Cherry Heavyweight Cardstock. I stamped the gorgeous sentiment with Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink from the NEW Pretty Poppies Stamp set on Whip Cream Heavyweight Card Stock cut with the Layered Labels Die-namics.

 

I also stamped the scrip stamp from the NEW Pretty Poppies Stamp Set on Bubblegum Pink Heavyweight Card Stock with Kraft Premium Dye Ink. I "built" several pretty poppies with the NEW Poppy Builder Die-namics cut from Wild Cherry and Black Licorice Heavyweight Card Stock. I cut leaves for the poppies with the leave die-namics from the Poinsettia Die-namics set. I flipped them around and tucked them under the poppy.

 Here is the inside...I stamped the script background stamp from the NEW Pretty Poppies Stamp set in Kraft Premium Dye Ink and then stamped the stems, stamped with Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink, the leaves ink Kraft Premium Dye Ink and stamped the poppies with Wild Cherry Premium Dye ink.  I added another sentiment from the NEW Pretty Poppies Stamp set ink Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.

Here's the tag...it is cut with the Traditional Tag STAX Die-namics. I layered the large Poppy cut with the NEW Poppy Builder Die-namics over the Decorative Doily Duo.I stamped another beautiful sentiment...love this script font...on Whip Cream Heavyweight Card Stock cut with the Sentiment Strips Die-namics. I used the NEW Electric Red Grosgrain ribbon.

This is the second card...I love this sentiment from the NEW Pretty Poppies Stamp set. I added another gorgeous poppy built using the NEW Poppy Builder Die-namics and leaves cut from the leaves die-namics from the Poinsettia Die-namics. I also added a crinkled seam binding bow with the an NEW Electric Red Button and Hemp cord.

Here is the inside of this card...again I stamped the script background border stamp from the NEW Pretty Poppies Stamp set and the stems, in Black Licorice and the poppies in Wild Cherry.
