My Favorite Things Stamps...January MFT Teasers Day 5....Doodle Garden - Sweet Friend!

If colouring is your thing then you are going to LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the NEW Doodle Garden Stamps...they are super cute and meant to be coloured with lots of open space. I had to ink up this NEW Sweet Friend Stamp set and coloured her with my Copics and did a little paper piecing too.  I paired her with the the fun My Minds Eye, Lucky in Love 6x6 paper pad.  I popped her up on a the  Heart Doily cut with the NEW Hearty Doily Die-naics from red glitter corrugated card stock. I also used the NEW Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose Die-namics and cut it from Wild Cherry and Bubblegum Replenishments felt. I also used the fabulous NEW Layered Heart Border Die-namics and I added a few sparkly red Rustic hearts as "leaves" to one of the roses that were cut with NEW Rustic Hearts Die-namics. I stamped the sentiment "hi" on Sweet Tooth Heavyweight card stock cut with the small tag from the Christmas Ornaments Die-namics and then stamped the "sweet friend" sentiment on Sweet Tooth Heavyweight card stock cut with on of the NEW Accent It - Labels and Tabs Die-namics.

 Here is the inside...I stamped the Sweet Friend girl again with MFT Wild Cherry Premium Dye Ink on Sweet Tooth Heavyweight Card Stock. I used the NEW Layered Heart Border Die-namics and added another a little flower made with only part of the NEW Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose Die-namics and instead of adding the rolled rose portion I added a Wild Cherry Button ties with Hemp cord. I used the Sweet Stack Die-namics for the sentiment panel and stamped yet another sweet sentiment from the NEW Sweet Friend Stamp Set.

Today I made two cute coupon books with the NEW Coupon Book - Love Stamp set and the NEW Ticket Book Die-namics. I also used the NEW Lollipop Additions - Love Stamp set to make Valentine themed Lollipop Treats. This Lollipop Additions set, is just that, additional stamps that coordinate beautifully with the Lollipop Treat Die-namics and you can even mix and match the stamps with the stamps from the Lollipop Treat Halloween Stamp set....SO cute! My daughter is already eyeing these Lollipop treats for her friends for Valentine's Day.

For my Lollipop Treats I cut the Lollipop Treat Die-namics from Kraft Heavyweight Card Stock, and the decorative circles from Sweet Tooth, Bubblegum, Red Hot and Sno Cone Heavyweight Card Stock. On the Sno Co Lollipop Treat package I used the dashed circle from the Lollipop Treats Halloween Stamp Set.  I tied all the Lollipops Treats with Hemp Cord. 

Then I made two of the Coupon Books of Love and I had SO much fun stamping out the tickets and mixing and matching all the different sentiments from the NEW Coupon Book - Love Stamp set with the NEW Coupon Ticket Book Die-namics. I even used some of the sentiments from the NEW Document it - Off the Charts stamp sets. I cut the Coupon Books from MFT Replenishments Heavyweight Card Stock and stamped with MFT Wild Cherry Premium Dye Ink. I held the books together with a couple of painted brads.

I liked how this one turned out I used the plus symbol from the NEW Document it - Off the Chart.

I used the numbers from the Document It - December stamp set making this ticket redeemable for up to 5 ice creams.

Again I mixed the sentiments from the Coupon Book - Love Sentiments set with the NEW  Document It - Off the Chart...and I cut the NEW Keys and Locks Die-namics from gold metallic cardstock and added some hemp cord.

Today our previews are focused on our Triple Scoop Rewards program. The Triple Scoop is a full sized stamp set which is FREE with your qualifying purchase of $60 or more (excluding tax and shipping.) For my card today I dug through some of my old 6x6 paper pads. I have way too many pads and many of them have hardly been touched and are feeling a wee bit neglected. I was drawn to the orange and brown colour combo in these BasicGrey Max and Whiskers 6x6 papers and thought this would make for a more masculine valentine's day card.

 I paired the Max and Whiskers papers with Orange Fizz, Hot Fudge and Sweet Tooth Heavyweight Card Stock. I used the NEW Boy Meets Girl Die-namics as the focal of the card and framed them with the Insert it - InstaFrame Die-namics from last month's release. I added the Boy Meets Girl paper doll border cut from corrugated cardboard and stamped a sentiment from the NEW You Make My Day stamp set on Sweet Tooth Heavyweight card cut with the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics. I added a corrugated heart cut with the NEW Rustic Hearts Die-namics and sewed on a Orange Fizz button with MFT Hemp Cord.  I stamped anther sentiment from the NEW You Make My Day Stamp set on Sweet Tooth Card cut with the one of the labels from the NEW Accent It - Labels and Tabs Die-namics. I stamped on some stitching with the small stitching stamp from the NEW Homespun Hearts Stamp set. 

Here is the inside...I added another Insert It - InstaFrame with another corrugated strip of the Boy Meets Girl paper dolls from the NEW Boy Meets Girl Die-namics. I also used the NEW Accent It - Labels and Tabs and stamped a sentiment from the Document it - Captured Memories Stamp set on one of the labels from the set and then used another geometric/retro tab from the NEW Accent It - Labels and Tabs set to house my camera cut with the Accent It - Cute Cameras Die-namics.

I know that Kim and the MFT team have many fun, creative and exciting things  in store for us this year and I can't wait to see what 2013 holds...I just KNOW it going to be GOOD...and we are starting the year off on a high note with TWO new additions to the MFT Design Team...please join us in welcoming Jenny Peterson and Linda McClain to MFT!

I Paired the NEW Lisa Johnson Designs Homespun Hearts and the NEW Hearts and Stitches Stamp sets with this pretty My Minds Eye, Ruby,  6X6 papers and matted with MFT Replenisments Bubblegum, Whip Cream, Steel Grey and Paver Red Heavyweight Card Stock. For the first A2 card I used the totally gorgeous NEW Heart Doily Die-namics cut from Whip Cream Heavyweight Card Stock. I cut the center circle from pattern paper with the Circle STAX Die-namics. I am SO excited about the stitching stamps in the NEW Homespun Hearts and NEW Hearts and Stitches Sets. I love the look of sewing on cards but it just isn't my forte and I'm super thrilled to be able to add some stitching detail to my cards with the NEW Hearts and Stitches stamps now.  So, I used the small stitching stamp from the Homespun Hearts set to added a little stitching here and there.  I also stamped one of the sweet sentiments from the Homespun Hearts Stamp set on Whip Cream Heavyweight Card Stock cut with the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics and matted it with Bubblegum Heavyweight Card Stock cut with the Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-namics. The pretty flower is cut with the NEW Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose Die-namics from MFT Replenishments Felt in Bubblegum and Whip Cream....I used the NEW Rustic Hearts Die-namics to make "leaves" for my flower from Steel Grey Felt.    

Here is the inside of my card...I stamped the wavy double stitched line from the NEW Hearts and Stitches Stamp set twice turning it to get a different look and then stamped in the heart flowers and stems from the set. I stamped another sweet sentiment from the Homespun Hearts Stamp Set on Whip Cream Heavyweight Card Stock cut with the small circle tag from the Howdy Frames Die-namics.

 For my second A2 card I used the NEW Heart STAX Die-namics for my main panel....LOOVVEE the NEW Heart STAX Die-namics. I cut the Framed Greetings Die-namics from Whip Cream Heavyweight Card Stock and stamped the looping stitches stamp in a very pale pink and then the sentiment from the NEW Homespun Hearts Stamps set. I made another beautiful flower with the NEW Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose Die-namics from MFT Replinsihments Felt in Bubblegum and Whip Cream. The "leaves" are cut with with the NEW Rustic Hearts Die-namics from Steel Grey Felt. I also used the Zig Zag Stitching stamp from the NEW Hearts and Stitches Stamp set to add stitching detail around the card and along the vertical strip....I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the stitching stamps in the NEW Hearts and Stitches stamp Set...this is a must have set.

 Here is the inside...it's very simple, I just stamped in the wavy double stitching stamp and stamped two different hearts from the NEW Homespun Hearts Stamp set. I added another little circle tag with a sentiment and I stamped the Happy Valentine's Day sentiment from the Homespun Hearts Stamp set on Whip Cream Heavyweight Card Stock cut with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics.

My Favorite Things Stamps...Happy New Year...You're Cause for Celebration!

Happy New Year, stampin' friends!!! My Favorite Things Stamps is all set to celebrate 2013 and we have an exciting announcement...we would like to give a warm welcome to Linda McClain and Jenny Peterson to the MFT Design Team!!! What a fabulous way to kick-off 2013!!! These ladies are definitely cause for celebration and I know they are going to dazzle us this year with some gorgeous and creative uses of the MFT Stamps and Die-namics...I can hardly wait to see what they make!!! Please take a minute to visit Linda and Jenny and congratulate them on this exciting news!

I made a celebratory card to welcome in the new year and to welcome Linda and Jenny to the MFT Design team. I'm also entering this card into the BasicGrey Challenges # 84, Anything Goes challenge! For my card I used the beautiful new BasicGrey Serenade 6x6 paper pad and some BasicGrey Heirloom Buttons and I matted with MFT Replenishments Whip cream, Natural and Sno Cone Heavyweight Card Stock. I used the super sweet Pure Innocence, Cause for Celebration...one of my all time favorite PI girls. I coloured her with my Copics and paper pieced her dress and popped her up on the Decorative Doily cut with the Decorative Doily Die-namics from Whip Cream Heavyweight Card Stock. I cut Steel Grey and Whip Cream Replenishments Felt with the gorgeous Winter Rose Die-namics. I also used the Bracket Edge Duo Die-namics and fishtail Flags and Fishtail Layers STAX Die-namics.

Here is the inside...I stamped another sentiment from the PI Cause for Celebration Stamp set and stamped the PI Cause for Celebration girl again. I added a few more pretty Winter Roses and stamped the date from the Document it - Days and Dates Stamp set on the circle tag from the Howdy Frames Die-namics and tied the circle tag with some hemp cord.
