SugarPea Designs...Challenge # 1, CCT305 & DS135...I Love You!

Hey stampin' friends! I finally finished up my first SugarPea Designs card today! I started it the other night but was rudely interrupted by yet another bad migraine...this weather is killing me. Thankfully, I had time and was pain-free today so I finished it up while waiting for our new oven to be delivered :)

I'm entering this card into the very first SugarPea Challenge, the Cute Card Thursday # 305 SO Sweet and I also used the great sketch that they have over at the Deconstructed Sketch # 135!

I coloured up this NEW Sweet P - A Bushel and A Peck...she is such a sweetie and I thought she'd be prefect for the SO Sweet Challenge over at Cute Card Thursday. I made my cardbase 5.5 X5.5 from MFT Replenishments Sweet Tooth Heavyweight Card Stock. I matted with Wild Cherry, Spearmint and Bubblegum Pink Heavyweight Card Stock. I'm making a concerted effort to use the papers that I have (since I have a ton) and so I turned to my BasicGrey True Love 6X6 paper pad again for this valentine card.

I cut the image out with my MFT Pierced Rectangle STAX and left the image in the die and inked with Spun Sugar Distress ink.  I stamped one of the sentiments from the NEW A Bushel & A Peck on the tag cut from the Howdy Frames Die-namics with Electric Red Premium Dye Ink. I also used the NEW Staggered Heart Boarder Die-namics and the LJD Rustic Hearts Die-namics.

Here is the inside...I stamped a shadow image of the A Bushel & A Peck girl in Electric Red Premium Dye Ink. I made the sentiment panel with the Pierced Circle STAX and the NEW Dimensional Banners Die-namics cut from Bubblegum Pink Heavyweight Card Stock and stamped a sentiment from the NEW Crushin' Reverse Confetti Stamp set.

Thanks SO much for stopping by and havin' a wee peek at my card with the NEW SugarPea Sweet P - A Bushel & A Peck girl.

Hey Krafty Friends! I had a very Krafty Sunday afternoon and made this card for The Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge # 204...Warm and Cozy. I also followed the fab sketch that Karen has over at the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge and the Cute Card Thursday Challenge # 294...Animal Magic.

I inked up this sweet Rachelle Anne Miller Santa and Pup stamp set perfect for the KKSC # 204 Challenge Warm and Cozy...little Santa is all bundled up and looking cute. I think there is nothing more magical than this little "reindeer" pup...perfect for the Cute Card Challenge # 294. I made the card 6X6 and used Authntique Peaceful 6X6 paper pad and matted with MFT Replenishments Heavyweight Card Stock in Black Licorice, Factory Green, Sour Apple and Primitive White.

I coloured up the Santa and Pup with my Copics and paper pieced the sac of toys. I added a little Stickles to the image for a little sparkle. I cut the image out with my Circle STAX Die-namics, left the image in the die and inked with Old Paper Distress Ink and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.

I wanted to add a small sentiment so I inked up this one from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Holiday Lulu and Libby. I stamped it with Steel Grey Premium Dye Ink on Primitive White Card Stock cut with a tag Die-namics from Blueprints 2.
