Good Morning friends! I hope you had a great weekend! I finally got my house cleaned and then spent yesterday making this card! My friend asked me to make her a card for her niece's first birthday and asked that the image have flowers in it! I just adore this Tilda with Flowing Hair...I love her sweet shoes and how she has her foot turned in...too cute! I thought she would be perfect for this card as she has flowers in her basket, as requested and I also used the Magnolia Spring Tree stamp, from the Easter collection 2009, just for a few more flowers.
So, I checked out the challenges...Just Magnolia challenge is One for the Girls, Cute Card Thursday's challenge is For Someone Special and I used the Fabulous Sketch by Tanja over at Friday Sketchers!!!
I coloured the image with my Copics and made my easel card from American Crafts cardstock and Matted with Bazzill cardstock. the pp is MME Quite Contrary. The image turned out larger than I thought and you can barely see the circle of pp that is suppose to be in the sketch...Oops! All the sentiments are Melissa Frances rub-ons...my fave! I used a few Prima Flowers and a lot of brown half pearls...I even added a tiny one to Tilda's shoe. Just had to add a few butterflies with my new MS punch and I just love them cut from the QK cork material! I think my fave thing on this card (other than Tilda, of course) is the great satin ribbon that I had in my stash...such a pretty colour!
Thanks sooooo much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card!
Have a stampin' great day!
Hugs,

Oh T, this is just wonderful! I love the scene you've created with the tree and the colours are stunning too! I reckon your friend will be over the moon with this masterpiece ;o) I love the MF rub-ons but we can't get them very easily in the UK..... when you get 5 mins (ha ha) could you let me know where you get yours from please?
Glad you finally got to clean your house, LOL! Mine is sadly neglected these days and is well overdue a Spring clean, but we've had to start decorating as we're going to sell up.... so it's paintbrushes at the ready ;o(
Big hugs to you and your lovelies, T xxx
