Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge # 13...Flyin' High on Love!

Good Morning my sweet Krafty friends! Yes, I am feeling rather chipper and cheerful this fine morning, smile! It is the weekend and that brings a big ol' smile to my face and it's Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge day too! Another fabulous reason to be cheery, me thinks!!!! You too will be chipper if you go and have a look at all the fabulously gorgeous creations by the Krafty Girls at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps blog! They have really put their heart and soul into this week's challenge,he, he, he!
Well, Kraftin' Kimmie, herself, has set the challenge this week and it's a yummy colour combo...Pink, Red and Chocolate...YUM-O!!!! We've also added an optional element to the challenge this week and that is.....hearts either in your image, your dp, a punch, chipboard, brads, bling, whatever!
Kimmie has made a super adorable card featuring Bonnie and Clyde from Crissy's Cuties Collection. So, I hope you can join the challenge this week because the lucky random winner will receive Bonnie and Clyde! Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join the challenge, but in order to be eligible for the blog candy, you must use a Kraftin' Kimmie image on your creation. We are really looking forward to seeing your lovin' creations this week!

For my card I made the base 6x6 from pink Bazzill Bling cardstock and used this fun Ka-Zoo K & Co. 12x12 patterned paper that I bought at Micheals with a coupon the other day! I inked all the edges with ColorBox Chestnut Roan chalk ink! I add this lovely American Crafts ribbon and a few chocolate Prima flowers with BG brads. I bought a Cigar Box of Cosmo Cricket chipboard letters and shapes at the dollar store and have had it kickn' around in my stash for a while! So, I traced around this chipboard heart onto the dp, cut it out, adhered it and then sanded the edges with my BasicGrey precision files set, then inked the edges. I punched a hole in the chipboard heart with my Crop-O-Dile and add a BG brad.
Then, I stamped the stylin' Genevieve from Annie's Steampunk Collection on ATS Copic Quality cardstock and coloured her with my Copics, cut the image out with my Nesties, left the image in the die and used it as a stencil. I then inked the image with Distress inks and added a little Shimmerz here and there! The sentiment is from the Steampunk Sentiments.

Here is the inside...this sentiment is from Kimmie's Holiday Sentiments!
Well, Thanks for stopping by and having a wee peek! I really appreciate it and all of your sweet comments too! I hope you get some krafty time this weekend and join us for this weeks Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge!
Hugs,
