New BasicGrey Challenges # 8 Glitz & Bling...Holiday Magic!
Well, another busy week just zipped by and now I have a busy weekend planned too! I am working today so by the time you read this I will have headed off to work. Then when I get back I will pack up all my Christmas card stash. I'm hoping to pack light and bring just what I need...oh who am I kidding, lol! I will end up bring everything but the kitchen sink as per usual, lol! So, I am heading to Toronto to my friend, Michelle's house for a scrapbooking/cardmaking weekend. Today is also Michelle's B-day...so I want to wish her a very Happy B-day!!!
Well, It is Challenge day for me... this is my BasicGrey Challenges card! I hope you can come back to see my Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge card too! This week at BasicGrey Challenges we have a fabulously fun challenge...Glitz & Bling!!!! My BG teamies have really out done themselves this week with such gorge cards...you are sure to be inspired! So, make sure you pop by their blogs and have a wee peek and I hope you can join us for this glitzy, bingy challenge, smile.
I made my cardbase 6x6 from Bazzill Bling cardstock and used BG Eskimo Kisses 6x6 paper pad. I love this paper it is just so pretty! I stamped Tilda on ATS Copic Quality paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured her with my Copics. I cut her out with my Oval Nesties and used the "out of the box" technique. I used BG bling flourish and chopped it up, putting a little here and a little there. I also used one of my Melissa Frances glittery hearts and punched a hole with my Crop-o-dile and added a BG Eskimo Kisses fancy brad with a little bling. To finish it off I used this yummy American Crafts ribbon which I just love...it's such a great match for this paper, Prima flowers with a BG Eskimo kisses brad and the sentiment is a Melissa Frances rub-on. Oh, I almost forgot, I used my sparkly Polar White Flower Soft for the first time on this card and I think it really makes it extra special...love this stuff!
Well, thanks for stopping by and having a wee peek! I hope to come home Sunday with lots of Christmas cards made, smile!
