Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge #5...You're Snow Sweet!

Good morning Krafty friends! We have another great challenge for you today over at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps challenge blog! Krafty girl, Niki has picked the challenge and she would like us to Stitch it Up! You can use machine or faux stitching on your creations and because Niki's fabulous card features Oliver the lucky random winner of this weeks challenge will receive sweet little Oliver.

For my card I used cutie patootie Bernadette from Crissy's Cuties Collection and she comes with the great sentiment that I've used on this card too. I ordered this fabulous MME paper called Colorful Christmas from Scrappin' Great Deals, after seeing this sweet card that Kimmie made with it. I absolutely love this paper and I thought it would be perfect for Bernadette!
I made my card base 6x6 from Prism craft cardstock and inked all the edges of my pp with my fave Colorbox chalk ink in Chestnut Roan. I am terrible with the sewing machine so I just used my favourite Kelly Panacci acrylic stitching stamps instead and stamped them with Brushed Corduroy Distress ink. I couldn't use the stamps on the circle so I just used a brown Sakura Stardust Gelly Roll pen. I added a few prima flowers with BasicGrey and Making Memories brads, prima velvet leaves and some velvety stitched ribbon from my stash.

I stamped Bernadette on ATS Copic Quality paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured her in with my Copics. I cut the image out with my new Nesties, also from Scrappin' Great Deals, and left the image in the die and inked it with Antique Linen Distress ink. I used a template that I've had kicking around for a long time and never used before...it's called Snowflake and made by The Crafters Workshop. I used my W-1 Copic to trace the flourishes on the template and went over them with a Sakura Stardust pen.

Here is the inside...the sentiments is from Kimmie's Holiday Sentiments set and I added one of the cute snowflake die cuts from the MME Colorful Christmas paper pack.
Well, thanks for stopping by and having a wee peek! I hope you can join us for this week's Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps challenge...just haul out the old singer or get your stitching stamps out and get krafty!
Hugs,
