My Favorite Things Stamps...May Teaser Time - Day 6....Blueprints 3!

Today I'm sharing a card that I made with the fabulous NEW Blueprints 3 Die-namics and the gorgeous NEW Lisa Johnson Designs Peaceful Wildflowers. I stamped some of the Wildflowers in the NEW Red Hot Premium Dye ink and the NEW Steel Blue Premium Dye Ink on Smooth White Card Stock. Then used the NEW Lisa Johnson Designs Wildflowers Die-namics and stamped the Wildflowers on the die-cuts. 

I actually made my card 5X5. 5 from Black Licorice Heavyweight Card Stock and used the elements in the fabulous NEW Blueprints 3 to achieve a simple colour blocking design! I cut the square mat with the large square die-namics in the New Blueprints 3 Die-namics. I then stamped it with the NEW Mona Pendleton Designs Distressed Background Blocks with the NEW Steel Blue Premium Dye Ink. I also used the scalloped edge Die-namics from the NEW Blueprints 3 and aligned it to cut along the bottom of the square mat.  I stamped a sentiment from the NEW LJD - Peaceful Wildflowers Stamp set in NEW Red Hot Premium Dye Ink on Sweet Tooth Heavyweight Card Stock cut with the stitched circle from Blueprints 1 and tied it with Hemp cord.

Here is the inside...I stamped another pretty wildflower from the NEW LJD - Peaceful Wildflowers and another sentiment from the same set in the NEW Red Hot Premium Dye Ink and added the dotted border cut from the NEW Steel Blue Heavyweight Card Stock.

My Favorite Things Stamps...Teaser Time Day 5...Doodle Garden - Turtle Girl!

 

Hello stampin' friends! I hope you are enjoying your weekend and enjoying the beautiful sunshine where you are!!! We are just back from our holiday in SUNNY Florida and had a fabulous time at Disney World...our favorite place! I'm SO glad the sun followed us home! 

Well, It's Day 5 of the May MFT Teasers and today we are featuring the NEW Doodle Garden -Turtle Girl, Cheerful Blessings Stamp Set and Heirloom Label Die-namics. For my card today I inked up the NEW Doodle Garden Turtle Girl! She is absolutely adorable...LOVE her to bits and she is a dream to colour! I Made my card 5X5 and used the pretty Secret Crush Pink Paislee 6x6 papers. The card-base is cut from MFT Replenishments Kraft Heavyweight Card Stock and I cut the mat from the lush NEW Steel Blue Heavyweight Cardstock with the large square Die-namics from the fabulous NEW Blueprints 3. I cut the NEW Doodle Garden Turtle Girl out and then popped her up on the NEW Heirloom Label Die-namics. The NEW Blueprints 3 is perfect for making larger 5X5 square cards....my fave! I used the pretty flower Die-namics from the NEW Blueprints 3 Die-namics and added in JellyBean Green leaves and tiny Bubblegum Buttons tied with Hemp Cord to the centers of the flowers. I stamped part of a sentiment from the NEW Doodle Garden - Turtle Girl Stamp set on Kraft Heavyweight Card Stock cut with the little notched ticket from the NEW Blueprints 3.  

Here is a detail shot of the sweet NEW Doodle Garden Turtle Girl coloured with Copic markers! I think my fave little detail is coordinating the flower in her hair with the pattern paper flowers embellishments. I added the white dots to the coloured flower with a Uni-ball Signo White Gel pen.

And here is the inside...I stamped the NEW Doodle Garden Turtle Girl again in MFT Factory Green Premium Dye Ink. I used the NEW Heirloom Label Die-namics, the NEW Blueprints 3 to make the sentiment panel. I stamped the sentiment from the NEW DG Turtle Girl Stamp set with the NEW Steel Blue Premium Dye Ink.

My Favorite Things Stamp...Teaser Time Day 2...Mini Album Square Scallop STAX Die-namics

Thanks SO much for stopping by I've made another mini album again this month with the fabulous NEW Mini Album Square Scallop STAX Die-namics! I'm loving making mini albums with the NEW Mini Album STAX Die-namics...such a great concept!  So, I wanted to preserve the photos that I have from my daughter's Confirmation last year. I didn't have a lot of pics to work with, so a mini album was the perfect way to preserve the precious memories and the few pics that I have of this special day! I used only MFT  Replenishments Heavyweight card stock for the album...yup, NO pattern paper here and I LOVE it!

I started by cutting 4 pages with the NEW Mini Album Square Scallop STAX Die-namics from thin chipboard and cut the MFT Replenishments Heavyweight Card Stock to cover each page, in Red Hot, Steel Grey, Black Licorice and the gorgeous NEW Steel Blue. I also used Sweet Tooth and Smooth White Heavyweight Card Stock for matting and die-cutting. I used the NEW Lisa Johnson Designs - Cheerful Blessings and NEW Lisa Johnson Designs - Peaceful Wildflowers and NEW Wildfowers Die-namics to add sentiments and embellishments throughout the album.

To make the pattern on the cardstock I stamped with the beautiful NEW Mona Pendleton Designs - Distressed Background Blocks...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, these new stamps by fellow MFT Designer Mona Pendleton and I inked all the edges of the album with Mixed Media Inx in Jasmine. I also used the fabulous NEW Blueprints 3 Die-namics...so many gorgeous elements in this set...including this beautiful flowers Die-namics.

We also have a trending chalkbaord art set called Chalkboard Greetings and it's this month's Triple Scoop...I LOVE this set and had SO much fun making my chalkbaord sign...I cut Black Licorice with the Vertical Greetings Die-namics and stamped with ClearSnap Ghoast White ink and heat embossed with Zing White Embossing powder. I then inked up the stamp again with the White ink and the slightly stamped off the image creating the shadow. I also added a little doodling with a white PrismaColor pencil. The heart is from the NEW Lisa Johnson Designs - Cheerful Blessings. I added a little bouquet of the Wildfowers with the NEW Lisa Johnson Designs - Peaceful Wildflowers and Wildflowers Die-namics. I stamped with the NEW MFT Premium Dye Ink in Red Hot and Steel Blue.

Here I used elements from the NEW Blueprints 3 Die-namics (did I say I LOVE these sweet flowers form the Blueprints 3 Die-namics?!) and I also used the Fishtail Flags and Fishtail Layers STAX Die-namics. I adore this sentiment from the NEW Lisa Johnson Designs - Cheerful Blessings.

I cut the tag from the Blueprints 2 Die-namics and stamped another sweet sentiment from the NEW Lisa Johnson Designs - Cheerful Blessings...I distressed it a bit with the NEW Mona Pendleton Designs - Distressed Background Blocks and added another cute flower from the NEW Blueprints 3 Die-namics with a Steel Grey Button.

I think this is my favorite page in the album...Hannah with her friends Emily and Gillian after their Confirmation.  I used the NEW Chalkboard Greetings ( This month's Triple Scoop) and cut the NEW Vertical Frame Die-namics from thin chipboard and covered it with Black Licorice and Red Hot Heavyweight Card Stock.

Here is Hannah with her Sponsor and our good family friend, Amanda. I used the NEW Mini Album Square Scallop STAX to create the scalloped mat using the 'Cut and Re-Cut" technique. I cut the Red Hot Heavweight Card Stock with the Square STAX and then stamped in Red Hot Premium Dye Ink with the NEW Mona Pendleton Designs - Dandelion Wishes. It adds a subtle detail but I love the tone on tone affect.

And this is the back cover of the album...I cut the NEW Insert It - 3 X 4 Notepad and stamped it with the LLD Journal It - For the Record.  I also used stamps from the LLD Document It - Off the Chart and LLD Journal It - Graph Paper Notes.

So, I inked up the adorable Pure Innocence - Little Gardener Stamp set...isn't she the cutest?! Love her to bits! I coloured her with my Copics and paired her with some MFT Replenishments Heavyweight Card Stock in Electric Red (my fave) Kraft and Night Shift Blue. I also used some Simple Stories pattern papers. I made my card 5X5 so I could use the fabulous NEW Blueprints 3 Die-namics...I'm SO in love with the NEW Blueprints concept and this month's set is perfect for larger square cards...LOVE! I also used the sweet NEW Dotted Scallop Border Trio! I stamped the sentiment from the Pure Innocence - Little Gardener Stamp with Electric Red Premium Dye Ink and cut it out with stitched circle from the Blueprints 1 Die-namics punched a hole in it to make it a tag and tied it with my fave Hemp cord!

Here is the inside...I stamped a shadow image of the PI Little Gardener girl in Electric Red Premium Dye Ink and added another cute sentiment on the Sweet Stacks Die-namics...and you get another peek and the adorable Dotted Scallop Border with the NEW Dotted Scallop Border Trio!

Today I am sharing two cards that I made with the sweet NEW Pure Innocence - Make A Wish Stamp set. I've coloured her with up with my Copics and paired her up with the NEW Blueprints 3 Die-namics...I'm SO loving the new Blueprints, a design plan and building blocks in one revolutionary product...simply ingenious! Blueprints 3 is another AMAZING set. I love making large square cards and the Blueprints 3 is perfect for making a 5X5 square card.  I've followed this month's Blueprints sketches (for the most part). The Blueprints PDF will be available on the MFT blog.  I've also used the NEW Steel Grey Heavyweight Card Stock and paired it with Kraft, Berrylicious and Pink Lemonade Heavyweight Card Stock.

Here is the inside....I stamped the Pure Innocence Make a Wish girl with the NEW Berrylicious Premium Dye Ink.

Again, I coloured the NEW Pure Innocence Make a Wish girl with my Copics. This time I cut her out and popped her up on the card. I stamped a sentiment from the same set with the gorgeous NEW Steel Grey Premium Dye Ink.

Here is the inside...I stamped the sentiment in the gorgeous NEW Steel Blue Premium Dye Ink...LOVE this new colour...a must-have!

My Favorite Things Stamps...April Release Rewind...LJD - Sweet Roses!

Hello Stampin' friends! I know you all enjoyed the new MFT Teaser Time format and we have yet another exciting NEW feature for you....Welcome to the April MFT Release Rewind! We would like to take this opportunity to share a few more creative ways to use your NEW Stamps and Die-namics from the April release that are AVAILABLE NOW in the MFT Boutique!

I'm featuring the gorgeous NEW Lisa Johnson Designs Sweet Roses Stamp set and the coordinating NEW Roses and Leaves Die-namics. I also made a little treat box with the adorable NEW Scalloped Treat Box Die-namics and used the NEW Open Simply Scallops Trio Die-namics and last but not least, I teamed up elements from the fabulous NEW Blueprints 2 and the Blueprints 1 Die-namics. My card and treat box are made with the beautiful MFT Replenishments Card Stock in Razzle Berry, Blu Raspberry, Sour Apple and Smooth White.

 

I decided to get good and inky for the April Release Rewind and tried my hand at the "faux watercolour" technique using the MFT Premium Dye Ink refills in Blu Raspberry, Razzle Berry and Pink Lemonade for my watercoloured roses and used Gumdrop Green and Sour Apple Premium Dye Ink Refills for the watercoloured leaves. 

To "watercolour"  I added some drops of ink from the 3 ink refills to a piece of acrylic and spritzed it with water so they would blend and mix together a little but not so much that it becomes a muddy colour.  I then dipped the large sold rose stamp in the ink mixture and randomly stamped it on the fabulous MFT Smooth White Card Stock. I also stamped and embossed extra flowers and leaves and cut them out with the NEW Roses and Leaves Die-namics. Finally, I took a paintbrush, dipped it in the ink and tapped it to add little ink splatters and splotches to the card front.

Here is the inside of the card...I stamped another sentiment from the NEW Sweet Roses Stamp set with Embossing ink and Embossed it with Zing Opaque White Embossing Powder. I added a few more watercoloured roses and leaves cut with the NEW Roses and Leaves Die-namics. 

I cut the NEW Scalloped Treat Box from Smooth White Card Stock and added some ink splatters before I assembled it. I then cut the stitched border from the Blueprints 1 Die-namcis and wrapped the box with it and added a few more watercoloured roses and leaves and Embossed the sentiment on the Sour Apple tag cut with the cute tag Die-namics from the NEW Blueprints 2.

For my second card I again used the various elements from Blueprints 1 and 2. I also cut the Smooth White panel with the Rectangle STAX Die-namics and added more ink splatters.  I used my fave Layered Layered Labels Die-namics for the sentiment.

And here is the inside...and a few more watercoloured roses and leaves and another Embossed sentiment from the NEW Sweet Roses Stamp set.

Hello Stampin' friends! Thanks for stopping by! Today's Wednesday and that means it's MFT Wednesday Stamp Club time! We have yet another fun sketch this week and it works beautifully with the NEW Blueprints Die-namics! Here is the great sketch that we have this week!

I didn't use any pattern paper....can you believe it? lol! Well, the MFT Replenishments Heavyweight Card Stock is SO gorgeous it's not necessary...I used yummy Grapscicle, Pink Lemonade, Natural and Blu Raspberry and made the card base from Replenishments Kraft Heavyweight Card Stock. I stamped in Kraft Premium Dye Ink on the Natural panel with the LJD - Darling Dots and used Sno Cone Premium Dye Ink with LJD - Spring Backgrounds on the Party Banner Die-namics and the stitched border. I used the Blueprints 1 and Rectangle STAX Die-namics to make the layers for the card as per the sketch. 

I inked up the super sweet NEW Pure Innocence - I Wheelie Like You Stamp set and coloured her with my Copics. I cut the image out with my Oval STAX Die-namics and used the "Out of the Box" Technique. I left the image in the die and inked with Tumbled Glass Distress ink and then added in some grass with my PrismaColor Pencils. Finally, I stamped the sentiment in Grape Jelly Premium Dye Ink on the tag from the NEW Blueprints 2 Die-namics, I tied it with Hemp Cord and added Hemp Cord bows to the Party Banner too!

Here is the inside...I used both the Blueprints 1 and Blueprints 2 to make the double mat in Grapesicle and Pink Lemonade Heavyweight Card Stock and then cut the Smooth White Card Stock with my Rectangle STAX. I stamped the shadow image of the PI I Wheelie Like You in Grape Jelly Premium Dye Ink. I stamped the sentiment from the PI Basket of Eggs and added another Party Banner.
