Share Handmade Kindness Challenge, CTD # 367 and CTS # 148 ...Thanks

Hey stampin' friends! I have a special Reverse Confetti thank you card that I made for a very special friend who is always there for me. I was inspired by Jennifer McGuire's NEW Share Handmade Kindness Challenge to make a thank you card for her. I also found inspiration for this card at the Color Throwdown # 367 and CAS(E) This Sketch # 148.

#sharehandmadekindness

I used MFT Heavyweight Card Stock in Primitive White, Bubblegum Pink and Jellybean Green. I also used Recollections Gold glitter corrugated card stock.

This is the FUN sketch that I used as a jumping off point for this card. The tag element really inspired me to use my Reverse Confetti Thanks Tag Confetti Cuts.
I just had to add a few extras layers and embellies ;) so my card isn't very CAS....sorry!

I used the fabulous Reverse Confetti Thanks Tag Confetti Cuts for my card. I cut it twice once from Bubblegum Pink Card Stock and then from Gold Glittered Corrugated Card Stock and layered it so the bottom scalloped edge of the tag is Gold Glittered Corrugated Card Stock. I cut the smaller panel from the Thanks Tag Confetti Cuts from Primitive White Heavyweight Card Stock that I had embossed with the Woodgrain Confetti Cuts. I cut the word "thanks" from Primitive White Heavyweight Card Stock a couple of times and once from the Gold Glittered Card Stock and stacked them to add a little dimension.

I stamped some flowers with the Petals 'N Posies Stamp set with Bubblegum Pink, Jellybean Green and Mix'd Media Inx in Vintage,  a pretty gold ink and cut them out with the coordinating Petals 'N Posies Confetti Cuts.  I used the Color Me Happy stamp set and stamped the paint swatches, splotches and splatters on the back panel of the card with the Mix'd Media Inx in Vintage.  I embellished with YNS Gold Gumdrops and tie the tag with Hemp cord.

I finished off the inside of my card...I stamped more splotches, splatters and swatches of Vintage Mix'd Media Inx on the Primitive White Card Stock and added another Thanks Tag this time I stamped a sentiment from the Posted Note Sentiments Stamp set in Jellybean Green Premium Dye Ink.

Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a little look at the Share Handmade Kindness card with inspiration from the Color Throwdown # 367 and CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge # 148

My Favorite Things Stamps...WSC # 252 and CTD # 366...Snowflake Splendour

Hey stampin' friends! I'm back with yet another snowflake card! Not sure what's up with the sudden obsession with snowflakes because I am SO not looking forward to the real deal! Whatever, I'm not complaining, as it seems to have awakened my crafty mojo!!!

I'm just getting this card in under the wire for...I made it for the My Favorite Things Stamps Sketch Challenge -MFTWSC252 and The Color Throwdown - CTD366!

Here is the fun sketch that I used - MFTWSC252...

and I used this pretty colour combo - CTD366 with MFT Heavyweight Card Stock in Tangy Orange, Steel Blue and Grout Grey and I used Memories Pigment Ink in Waterfall Blue

 photo MFTWSC252_edited-RS1_zpspd4cd0ru.jpg
I stamped the On Diagonal Background Stamp with Memories Pigment Ink in Waterfall Blue on Grout Grey Heavyweight Card Stock and cut it out with the Vertical Stitched Strips Die-namics and then again, using the cut and re-cut technique, so it would fit the span of my card. I stamped a few snowflakes from the LJD Snowflake Splendour on Grout Grey Heavyweight Card Stock with Waterfall Blue Pigment Ink. The largest snowflake fit perfectly in the circle panel cut with Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics. I used my Blueprints 1 to cut the Tangy Orange panel and layered it with Steel Blue Card Stock cut with the Polka Dot Cover-Up Die-namics. I made the stitched frame by cutting the Steel Blue Heavyweight Card Stock with the stitched panel from Blueprints 13 and then cutting out the centre with my Rectangle STAX. I added some dimension by popping it up with dimensional foam tape.

I used the Happy Hellos Die-namics to cut the word "hello" from Steel Blue Heavyweight Card Stock three times and cut out one more layer from silver glittered cardstock and adhered all the layers together to create depth and a little more stability to the die-cut word. I sprinkled a few silver sparkly YNS Gumdrops around and added a Hemp Twine bow to the centre of the large snowflake.
Thanks SO much for popping by and havin' a little look at my card for the MFTWSC252 and the CTD366!
