SugarPea Designs...May Sweet Sneak Peeks - Day 2...Hello, Sunshine!

Hello Stampin' friends! Welcome back to the SugarPea Designs Sweet Sneak Peeks - Day 2! Today I'm sharing a card I made with the NEW Sweet P Collection - Hello, Sunshine! This little girl is the cutest thing ever and she comes with a few little "friends" and such sweet sentiments!

I made my card 6X6 and used BasicGrey Mon Ami 6X6 paper pad. I coloured up the NEW Hello, Sunshine girl with my Copics and paper pieced her umbrella. I cut the image out with my Rectangle STAX and left the image in the die and inked with Tumbled Glass Distress ink. I stamped the perfect sentiment from this Hello, Sunshine stamp set with Steel Grey Premium Dye ink and cut it out with the Pierced Traditional Tag STAX. I added a few Yellow and Orange Gumdrops.

I finished the inside too....I stamped a shadow image in Tangy Orange Premium Dye Ink and another sweet sentiment from the Hello, Sunshine Stamp set.

I coloured up the You Blow Me Away dragon with my Copics using the pointillism colouring technique and I added in some ground and grass with my PrismaColor Pencils. I cut the image out with the Square STAX and left the image in the die and inked with Tumbled Glass and Antique Linen Distress ink. I LOVED the little kite accessory stamp and I thought I would add in a die-cut kite and some cute little clouds. I stamped a sentiment from the You Blow Me Away Stamp set on a die-cut cloud in Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink. 

I finished off the inside too...I stamped a shadow image of the kite accessory stamp in Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink and stamped another great sentiment from the You Blow Me Away Stamp set.

SugarPea Designs...SPD04 - CAS card & Exciting News!!!!

 

Hello Stampin' friends! I have some very SWEET news!!! I'm absolutely thrilled to bits to be joining the SugarPea Designs Team as a Guest Designer for the Month of May! I thought I would make a card for the very special occasion and join the SugarPea Designs SPD04 - CAS Clean & Simple challenge while I was at it!

Now, I don't really do CAS! Yeah, Clean and Simple is not my go-to style but I thought I would give it a try, so, this is MY version of CAS...fingers crossed that it qualifies....I tried to rein in the embellishments! I coloured up this Sweet P Collection - Love You Bunches girl with my Copics and added in some grass with my PrismaColor pencils.

I got the colour combo from the Fab Friday 40 Color Challenge!

I used MFT Replenishment Heavyweight Card Stock in Fuse Green, Steel Blue, Hot Fudge, Bubblegum Pink and Sweet Tooth.

I used my Blueprints 14 for the card layout and stamped the great sentiment from the Love You Bunches stamp set on a small pierced tag from the Pierced Traditional Tags STAX and tied it with pretty hemp cord sprinkled a few sparkly pink Gumdrops here and there. 

I finished off the inside too...I stamped another sentiment and the cute little doggie from the Love You Bunches Stamp set.
