Hey stampin' friends! I'm just popping by quickly to share the card I made with this week's My Favorite Things Sketch - MFTWSC161!
LOVE this sketch...perfect for a Pure Innocence girl.
I wanted to colour up this sweet Pure Innocence Close-Knit girl and this sketch was perfect for my idea to embellish with a knit flower. That circle element was the perfect spot to add the knit flower from MME - The Sweetest Things - Tangerine line and I added a coordinating Epoxy brad to the centre of the flower. I also used MME Tangerine 6X6 paper pad for my card and matted with MFT Replenishments Heavyweight Card Stock in Red Hot, Bubblegum Pink, Sno Cone and Primitive Cream.
I coloured the PI Close-Knit girl with my Copics and cut the image out with the Pierced Rectangle STAX. I left the image in the die and inked with Spun Sugar Distress ink and Tea Dye Distress ink. I stamped a sentiment from the Pure Innocence - Love is in the Air Stamp set on Primitive Cream Heavyweight Card Stock in Red Hot Premium Dye Ink.
Here is the inside... I stamped a shadow image of the Pure Innocence Close-Knit girl in Red Hot Premium Dye Ink. I used my all time fave Layered Label Die-namics and the Fishtail Flags and Fishtail Layers STAX to make my sentiment panel. I love the sentiments in the PI Close-Knit stamp set and I stamped this one in Red Hot Premium Dye Ink.
Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a little look at my card for this week's My Favorite Things Stamps - Wednesday Stamp Club # 161 with the Pure Innocence Close-Knit Stamp set.
