Announcing.....Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps....Friday Sketchers # 70 and Cute Card Thursday # 78...Happy Halloween!

Well "Krafty" friends, are you more than just a little "kurious" as to what I have been keeping a secret all summer long!? Have I peeked your interest?! Have I got you wondering what the VERY, VERY, VERY exciting news is?! Yeah!!!! And you just want me to tell ya already!
Well, okay... here it very good stamping and blogging pal, the oh so talented and ever sweet, Kim Reid from Kraftin' Kimmie's Korner is starting her very own stamp company called....drum roll please........Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!!!!!

I can't share anything else with you YET but keep checking back here and you just never know, you may, just get to see a little somthin'...maybe a wee sneak peek or two, or three, lol!!!!

I know you're as super psyched as I am about the prospect of more cute and whimsical stamps so keep checking here and over at Kraftin' Kimmie's Korner for all the deets!

Now here is the card I made today! I thought I would play along with a few challenges and the sketch over at Friday Sketchers is always a good place to start and then I decided to give this week's challenge at Cute Card Thursday a go too! The DT over at CCT want to see some "Hidden Treasure" or a hidden element on your card, gift or creation!

So, I finally got a chance to play with some of the fabulously gorjuss, Gorjuss Girl images that my good blogging and crafty friend Judy sent me all the way from Scotland! I just love these little sweeties! This one was a dream to colour and I used one or two of my new Pastel Copics that I picked up at the Bella Boutique yesterday!

Here are the Coipcs I used on this card....
Skin: E000, E00, E02, E21, R20
Hair:E31, E42, E29
Dress and tights:BV0000, BV00, BV08, R05, R17
background shading:C00, C-1, C-3, C-5, C-7 and Metallic Rub-ons

I thought this Gorjuss Girl would be perfect for a spooky card! I love, love, love the skull slide in her hair!

I made the cardbase 6x6 from purple embossed American Crafts cardstock and used my new My Minds Eye Halloween paper that I bought at Crop Circles in Peterborough. I got the 12X12 paper pack and it was a really good a bargain!

The ribbon, Prima flowers, Bazzill brad are all from my stash and I used Melissa France rub-on on the main image! For the hidden Treasure part of the challenge I folded my crdstock in half and ran it through the cuttlebug with the oval Nestie making sure that I didn't cut through the top of the oval so that it makes a little oval with a flap-cover. I cut papers to mat the inside of the oval and added another Melissa Frances Rub-on. I also added lots of stickles here and there for a little sparkle!
so you can open the flap and see what is hidden under it! is the sentiment!
Oh that is cute, eh!?

Well, there you have it a wonderfully exciting announcement and a card for two challenges! Chris has just gone out to pick up a pizza....yumo...I'm starving and then I think I will cuddle up with my book Breaking Dawn!
Thanks for stopping by and having a wee peek!
