Reverse Confetti - Thankful for You

Happy Thanksgiving stampin' friends! I hope you are enjoying a wonderful Thanksgiving long-weekend with family and friends! This long weekend I was able to play with some NEW Reverse Confetti goodies....very thankful for some extra crafty time!

The other day I was standing in line at the grocery store when a magazine cover with pretty pink and gold pumpkins caught my eye, unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the magazine but it was the inspiration for this card. I thought it would be fun to substituted the pumpkins for some pretty pink acorns with the NEW Reverse Confetti Happy Harvest.

I started with some pretty pink and orange water-colourd paper that I made with the Smooshing Technique and I used the NEW Reverse Confetti Lacy Scallop Frame Confetti Cuts. I used a Rectangle STAX Die-namics die to cut out the centre of the largest Lacy Scallop panel to create the frame and popped it up with foam adhesive. I cut a Tag Me tag from corrugated cardstock and inked it with a gold Mix'd Media Inx called Vintage.

I layered two different acorns from the NEW Happy Harvest Stamp set and I used the leaves and vines from the Reverse Confetti Pumpkin Patch Stamp set.  I tied the tag with some hemp cord and added a sprinkling of Gold glittered YNS Gumdrops. I also rubbed the frame, leaves and acorns with Metallic Gold Rub-ons just to add a little antiqued and vintage feel to the card.

Thanks SO much for popping by and havin' a wee peek at my Reverse Confetti card with the Happy Harvest Stamp set.

Reverse Confetti - Retro Sketches #234 & Simon Says Stamp - Birthday Wishes

Happy World Cardmaking Day stampin' friends! I'm popping by to share my Reverse Confetti card I made for a special little guy, my nephew, Conor! He turned one and I had to make him a special birthday card to celebrate the big day! I knew I wanted to colour up this adorable elephant from the Reverse Confetti Coffee and You Stamp. I substituted the coffee cup that the elephant juggles on the end of his trunk for a stack of birthday cupcakes from the Reverse Confetti Lift Me Up Stamp set.

I'm also entering it in the Retro Sketches Challenge # 234 - This is a fun challenge to use any previous RS sketch....

....So this is my take on Retro Sketches # 197

I subbed out the fancy frame on the Retro Sketches # 197 for the Reverse Confetti Gift Card Holder Tag that I cut from Kraft Cardstock and stenciled with the NEW RC Lotsa Dots Stencil with Tim Hotlz Twisted Citron Distress ink. I used the Reverse Confetti Circle Sentiments, Scalloped Circle Confetti Cuts, Detailed Circle Confetti Cuts and layered it over a stitched fishtail banner cut from Primitive White Heavyweight Cardstock.

I absolutely love the All Framed Up Confetti Cuts and couldn't resist adding the large stitched frame to this card cut from Primitive White Heavyweight Cardstock...I popped it up with foam tape, layered over the fun green polka dot paper from the NEW Reverse Confetti Fright Night 6X6 paper pad. I coloured the sweet little elephant from the Coffee and You Stamp set and coloured up the cupcakes from the You Lift Me Up Stamp set, fussy cut them and popped him up on the tag. I finished off the card with a sprinkling of Navy Blue YNS Gumdrops and tied the Tag with some Blue AC Hemp Cord.

Thanks SO much for stoppin' by and havin' a wee peek at my Reverse Confetti birthday card for the Simon Says Stamp - Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes and Retro Sketches #234!

Happy Labour Day, Krafty Friends! Just popping by quickly to share a card that I made today with some super cute NEW Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps....I could not resist these adorable little Halloween Owls!

I am playing along with the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge # 347 - Clean and Simple (yes, this is my take on clean and simple) and I also used the KKS September Sketch. The colour combo is from The Colour Q E 357!

I used MFT Hevyweight Cardstock in Black Licorice, Razzle Berry, Orange Fizz and Sweet Tooth

LOVE the KKS September Sketch!

I had to ink up this sweet little Owl-witch from the KKS Happy Owl-oween Stamp set and I used the adorable little bats and sentiment from the KKS Harvest Blessings Stamp set. I stamped the images on Strathmore Bristol with Archival Brilliance Black Graphite Ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. I coloured up the image with my Zig True Color Real Brush markers and cut them image out with my Pierced Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I put the image back in the die and inked with Carved Pumpkin Distress ink.

I also used Tim Holtz Distress ink in Picked Raspberry and Ripe Persimmon to make my background paper with the "Smooshing Technique".

I stamped the sentiment from the Harvest Blessings Stamp set on the tag and tied it with some hemp cord and added a Sparkly White YNS Gumdrop! I also added some black splatters with Heidi Swapp Colour Shine Spray in Black Velvet.

I finished the inside of the card too, as I often do....I stamped a shadow image of the sweet owl and her bat friends in Razzle Berry Premium Dye Ink and stamped another sweet sentiment from the Happy Owl-oween Stamp Stamp set

Thanks SO much for stopping by and havin' a little look-see at my Batty For You card for the KKS Challenge # 347, September KKS Sketch Challenge and The CQ357!
