Reverse Confetti - Color Throwdown # 507 - Thank You Beary Much

Hello stampin' friends! I'm quickly poppin' by to share a card that I made today! It has been quite a while since I've made a card so I was happy to get crafty again! I was inspired by the beautiful colour combo that they have over at The Color Throwdown - CTD507 and some new Reverse Confetti goodies. I made my card with the Reverse Confetti Honey Bear Stamp set, Honey Bear Confetti Cuts and the Leaf Lattice Cover Panel Confetti Cuts

I used Reverse Confetti Cardstock in Grape Soda, Iced Aqua and Lime Green and MFT Heavyweight Cardstock in Whip Cream and Jellybean Green

I created the background panel by inlaying the Grape Soda, Iced Aqua, Lime Green and Jellybean Green leaves into the negative panel cut from Whip Cream Heavyweight Cardstock with the Leaf Lattice Cover Panel. I also cut a frame from Whip Cream Heavyweight Cardstock with the All Framed Up Confetti.

I stamped all the the various images for my scene from various RC sets Honey Bear, Rain or Shine and Coffee and You with Archival Brilliance Black Graphite Pigment Ink on Bristol card and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I then watercoloured the images with  ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I created the little scene with the Honey Bear layered on the Dashed Line Tag Confetti Cuts. The Sentiment is from the Reverse Confetti Bear Hugs Stamp set.  I embellished with some grape Twine and Grape sparkly YNS Gumdrops

I finished off the inside of my card too! Thanks SO much for stopping by and havin' a little look at my card for the CTD 507 with the Reverse Confetti Stamps and Confetti Cuts

Reverse Confetti - SFYTT # 54 - I'm Glad We're Friends

Hello Stampin' friends! I'm popping by with a card that I made for the Reverse Confetti SFYTT # 54 I also used Confetti Camera - Confetti Colors. I wanted to finally ink up this exclusive set that was released last year for the Simon Says Stamptember event for Reverse Confetti.

I used Reverse Confetti Brick and Avocado Cardstock and MFT Heavyweight Cardstock in Kraft and Natural

I stamped the images from the Forest Friends set on Bristol paper with Archival Brilliance Black Pigment Ink and then heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. Then I coloured them up with my ZIG Clean Color Real Brush pens. I used the Woodgrain Panel Confetti Cuts and coordinating Documented Confetti Cuts for the main panel. I cut the scalloped panel from the Love Note Confetti Cuts from Brick Cardstock and tucked it under the Woodgrain panel. I also tucked the Avocado fishtail banners cut from the Hang Ups Confetti Cuts

I used Mowed Lawn and Evergreen Bough Distress ink to make the "smooshed" background cut with Circle STAX Die-namics and layered over the Natural Cardstock cut with the Reverse Confetti Lacy Scallop Circles Confetti Cuts.  I stamped a sentiment from the Forest Friends Stamp set on the tag, tied it with green Hemp twine and embellished with a few red sparkly Gumdrops from YNS Holly Jolly Gumdrops

I finished up the inside of my Forest Friends card too...I used the Love Note and Class Act, Lacy Scallop Circles and Hang Ups Confetti Cuts again for the sentiment panel. I stamped another sentiment from the Forest Friends Stamp set
Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a little look at my Forest Friends card for the Reverse Confetti Sketch For You to Try # 54.

I don't make a lot of "boy" cards. I find it a wee bit challenging but I knew if I used some "boy" colours and these spooky sweet Owls for a owl-vampire birthday card this challenge would be a breeze! I started out by making my background paper with the Smooshing Technique with Chipped Sapphire Distress ink. I used Heavyweight Cardstock in Nightshift Blue, Jelllybean Green and Kraft!

 photo KKSC371D_edited-RS4_zpsnedq6r9s.jpg
I stamped the images of the Owl from the Happy Owl-een Stamp set and the little bats from the Harvest Blessings Stamp set in Archival Brilliance Black pigment ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I find that it is SO much easier to colour with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens when I clear emboss as the raised embossed lines keep the colours from bleeding together...it is totally a stress-free approach to using these pens/markers. I then coloured my images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers/Pens. I cut them image with Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics and left the image in the die and inked with Chipped Sapphire and Forest Moss.

I finished the inside of the card too....I stamped a shadow image of the cute little Happy Owl-een vampire Owl and the sweet sentiment.
