I adore this sweet Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Tweetie Pies Stamp set...I just had to ink this girl for the Things with Wings KKS Challenge # 373. I coloured her and her feathered friend up with my copics, cut the image out with the MFT Pierced Traditional Tags and Traditional Tags STAX Die-namics, left the image in the die and inked with Tumbled Glass and Shabby Shutters Distress inks. I added in some grass and ground with my Prismcolor Pencils. I also stamped the adorable little clouds from the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Darling Dragons stamp set, coloured them with my Copics, fussy cut them out and popped them up on the tag.

I did more "Smooshing"...I'm a little obsessed with this easy technique...this time I used my Peerless Watercolors instead of using inks. I then used the pretty blue "smooshed" watercolored paper for the background panel and cut the Reverse Confetti Wreaths Confetti Cuts from the "smooshed" paper too. I stamped a sentiment from the Tweetie Pies stamp set with Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink and heat embossed it with American Craft Zing White Embossing powder. I tied some blue American Craft Twine on the tag and embellished sprinkling of sparkly blue Gumdrops from Your Next Stamp.

Thanks SO much for stopping by and havin' a wee peek at my card for the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge # 373 - Things with Wings.

In addition to the great Krafty Challenges and Wonderful Wednesday, each month we will post a Sketch. The sketch will last all month long and if you use it in ANY of our Challenges or WW's during that month you will get an additional chance to win a store gift card! You do NOT have to use the sketch, it's just a little extra boost for your mojo if ya need it!

Now create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp or any other stamp and be sure to use our THEME as a starting point for your creation!!! You will have until March 24th at 11:55 pm EST to get your entries in! Pull out those fabby stamps and play along! Have some krafty fun and join us this week!!

For my Krafty Hop card I did a little "smooshing" again...(sorry but I can't get enough of this fun and easy technique) with Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet.  I inked up the Darling Dragons again and coloured up this little dragon...she's my fave...with my Copics!
I wanted to make a special birthday card so I whipped up an easy shaker tag with the Reverse Confetti Thanks Confetti Cuts and Shakers 'N Frames Confetti Cuts. I did a little masking with this Darling Dragon so she is holding the cloud balloon and then popped her up on the shaker tag. I tied the tag with AC Purple Hemp twine and embellished with a smattering of purple YNS Gumdrops.

I stamped a sentiment from the Darling Dragons Stamp set with Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink and then heat embossed with Zing White Embossing powder. There are so many cute accessory stamps in this set...I added a few little clouds and a bow to the balloon string.  In this detail shot you can see the Shaker tag has pink and lilac micro-beads and I used the Reverse Confetti Shaker 'N Frames Confetti Cuts to cut the tiny shapes from purple glitter paper.
Thanks SO much for stopping by and havin' a wee peek at my Krafty Hop card with the NEW Darling Dragons Stamp set for the March Release Krafty Hop
Happy Hoppin' & Shoppin'!!

My Favorite Things...MFTWSC #312 - Happy Christmas

Happy Christmas stampin' friends! Wishing you all a wonderful day spent with family and friends! I'm just stopping by to share a Christmas card that I made for the MFTWSC # 312 Sketch Challenge with one of my all time favourite Pure Innocence stamps - Season's Tweetings

I used MFT Heavyweight Card Stock in Kraft, Black Licorice, Electric Red and Jellybean Green
and I used Authentique Joyous 6X6 patterned papers

 photo MFTWSC312_edited-RS1_zpsa8bdavxg.jpg
Blueprints 1 and 13 are go-to Die-namics for the main panels of my cards and then I used the Die-namics Rectangle STAX 1 and 2. I also used the largest vertical strip from the Vertical Strips  Die-namics and re-cut it to fit the span of the card. I coloured the cute PI Season's Tweetings girl and birds with my Copics and paper pieced her outfit.
 photo MFTWSC312C_edited-RS3_zps1nuqcljs.jpg
I used the Open Scallop Doily Duo Die-namics cut from corrugated Kraft cardstock and layered it over the fishtail banner cut from Black Licorice and Jellybean Green Heavyweight cardstock. I stamped the  sentiment from the Happy Christmas Pure Innocence Stamp set with Sweet Tooth Premium Pigment Ink and embossed with AC Zing White Embossing powder. I embellished with some Hemp cord and red YNS Gumdrops
 photo MFTWSC312D_edited-RS4_zpsj47qknwg.jpg
I finished off the inside of my card too....I stamped a a shadow image of the PI Season's Tweetings girl and stamped and embossed another sentiment from the retired PI Christmas Caroler Stamp set
Thanks SO much to all my stampin' friends for visiting and havin' a little look at my card for the MFTWSC Sketch Challenge # 312!
Happy Christmas and wishing you much happiness, good health and a very prosperous 2017!

Reverse Confetti...The Color Throwdown # 315 & DS # 173...With A Grateful Heart!

Hello stampin' friends! WOW! I can't believe it is time for another Color Throwdown! Time just flew by for me as we had the Thanksgiving week off and were working on the kitchen reno...the new floor is down and the back-splash tiling has commenced ;)

I really LOVE this week's Color Throwdown # 315 by Jodi and the inspirational photo was just what I needed to get the creative ideas flowing. I made my card this week with my fave Reverse Confetti Stamps and Confetti Cuts!

I used MFT Heavyweight Card Stock in Tangy Orange, Primitive Cream, Lemon Drop and Olive

I thought I would play along with this week's Deconstructed Sketch - DS173

 photo TCD315F_edited-2RS9_zps55503300.jpg

I just love the Reverse Confetti Give Thanks Stamp set and the coordinating Reverse Confetti Give Thanks Label Confetti Cuts...I've got so much use out of this great set! I stamped another sentiment from Give Thanks in Olive Premium Dye ink on Primitive Cream Heavyweight Card Stock

I wanted to make white pumpkins just like in this week's CTD315 inspirational photo...I had a happy accident when I stamped the pumpkins from the RC Spooky Cuties and the Forever Fall Stamp sets. I stamped them with Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink and then I quickly grabbed, what I thought was my Zing White Embossing Powder, but it was actually clear embossing powder...in the end I actually liked the subtle effect that I got with the clear embossing powder over the white pigment ink on the coloured card stock!

 photo TCD315C_edited-1RS3_zps5d0a7ab0.jpg

For the scalloped edge that the sketch calls for I used the NEW Reverse Confetti Envie Wrap Confetti Cuts and I also stamped the fabulous wood-grain border from Reverse Confetti Forever Fall in Tangy Orange Premium Dye Ink

 photo TCD315E_edited-1RS6_zps9a7dd60a.jpg

Here is a detail shot of the clear embossed pumpkins stamped with MFT Sweet Tooth Pigment ink. I embellished with some AC Natural Twine and Lemon YNS Gumdrops.

 photo TCD315D_edited-1RS4_zps45e80500.jpg

I finished off the inside of my card too....I basically followed the same sketch, added in a few more embossed pumpkins and stamped another sentiment from the Give Thanks Stamp Set in Olive Premium Dye Ink.

Thanks SO much for popping by and having a little look at my Reverse Confetti card for this week's Color Throwdown # 315 and the DS # 173! Hope you can join us for CTD315!!!
