Curtain Call - Dec. 15 - Pines and Reverse Confetti SFYTT # 55 - Happy Holidays

Hello stampin' friends! It is time for another Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge but we are sad to announce that this will be our last Curtain Call Challenge. It has been an amazing and fun opportunity for me to be part of The Curtain Call Crew! I would like to thank Stacey and the talented Curtain Call Crew for the amazing time! We have a beautifully festive inspirational photo for the  Curtain Call - December 15 - Pines. We hope you can make find time to play along with us for our last challenge. Remember take inspiration from the photo or anything goes!

I also followed the Reverse Confetti SFYTT # 55 for this card

When I saw the inspirational photo I knew I wanted to use this BasicGrey Juniper Berry patterned paper that I had in my stash. I cut the main circle panel with the RC Lacey Scallop Circles Confetti Cuts and stamped the sentiment from the Sentimental RC Christmas Stamp Set.

I also used the Reverse Confetti Holly Confetti Cuts and the Leafy Confetti Cuts to embellish the sentiment panel. I tied with some hemp twine and some white sparkly Your Next Stamp Gumdrops.

Thanks SO much for stopping by and havin' a little look at my card for the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge Dec. 15 - Pines and the Reverse Confetti SFYTT # 55! We hope you can join us!

Curtain Call - Nov. 15 - Acorns - Your Next Stamp Sketch Challenge # 77...Thankful for You

Hello stampin' friends! It is time for another FUN challenge over at Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge for Nov. 15 - Acorns. We have another fabulous inspirational photo for you to use if you choose or anything goes! When I saw this photo I knew this Your Next Stamp Autumn Animals Stamp set would be perfect and I'm playing along with the Your Next Stamp Sketch Challenge # 77 too.

I used the YNS Sketch # 77 but swapped out the circle element with the largest Cool Tag Die Set from Your Next Stamp.

I wanted to colour up the SWEET squirrel for my card. I just adore the wee acorn he's holding with a smiley face! Too cute! I stamped the images with  Your Next Stamp Black Olive Premium Dye Ink and coloured them with my Copics. The YNS Black Olive ink is specially formulated to be compatible with Copic Markers. I then cut out the images with the coordinating Autumn Animals Die Set and created a little scene on the tag with the YNS Spring/Summer Create a Scene Die Set.

The sweet sentiment is from the Autumn Animals Stamp set, stamped on Grout Grey Heavyweight Card Stock with MFT Paver Red Premium Dye. I embellished with American Crafts Brown Hemp Cord and Your Next Stamp Gumdrops.

I finished the inside of the card too and stamped a shadow image of the sweet Autumn Animals squirrel in Olive Green Premium Dye Ink and another sentiment from the Autumn Animals set Kraft cut with the small Cool Tag Die Set

Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a little look at my card for the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Nov. 15 - Acorns and for the Your Next Stamp Sketch Challenge # 77! I hope you can find some time to play along with us!

La La Land Crafts - Curtain Call Challenge - Nov. 1 - Cider & Sunday Stamps Challenge # 164

Hello stampin' friends! We have a yummy inspirational challenge over at the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Nov.1 - Cider. I hope you can join us! Remember you can take inspiration from the festive photo that we have for you or anything goes! I used Hot Cocoa Marci Digi from La La Land Crafts for this card.

I used MFT Heavyweight Card Stock in Hot Fudge, Kraft, Paver Red, Orange Fizz and Primitive Cream

And I used this GREAT sketch that they have over at Sunday Stamps # 164 but flipped around the sketch to work with my image.
I took inspiration from the photo for the autumnal colour combo and coloured up the darling Hot Cocoa Marci digi from La La Land Crafts. I started off by stencilling with the Reverse Confetti Lotsa Dots Stencil with Rusty Hinge and Festive Berries Distress ink on Kraft Cardstock. I used my all time favourite MFT Horizontal Stitched Strips Die-nmaics to cut out a scrap of Orange Fizz Cardstock stamped with the MFT Wood Plank Background Stamp. I also used the MFT Vertical Stitched Strips and my MFT Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics for all the different layered strips.
I coloured Hot Cocoa Marci with my Copics, fussy cut her out and then popped her up on the card front. I stamped a sentiment from the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Harvest Blessings Stamp set on Primitive Heavyweight Cardstock with Paver Red Premium Dye Ink. I embellished with Orange Hemp cord and a sprinkling of sparkly Red YNS Gumdrops

I finished up the inside of my card too....a shadow image of Hot Cocoa Marci and the sentiment is from the MFT DC Trick or Sweet Stamp set and Layered Treat Tag Die-namics.

Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a little look at my Hot Cocoa Marci card for the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge Nov. 1 - Cider and the Sunday Stamps Challenge #164. I hope you can find some time to get crafty and join us!

Curtain Call Challenge - Sept. 1 Dreamcatcher- La-La Land Stamps & Chameleon - Hello

Hello stampin' friends! We have a beautiful inspirational photo for the Sept. 1 Curtain Call Challenge - Dreamcatcher. I hope you can join us for as we LOVE to seeing you beautiful creations. Remember you can take inspiration from the gorgeous Dreamcatcher photo that we have or anything goes!

I used MFT Heavyweight Cardstock in Kraft, Natural, Sno Cone, Pink Lemonade and Steel Grey

I made my card with several colours found in the pretty feathers and fabric flowers on the dreamcatcher. I didn't have any of the fun and trendy dreamcatcher stamp sets that are out on the market right now but thought I would colour up this sweet La-La Land Crafts Digi image of Marci with a Quill.

 photo CCIC0917F_edited-RS6_edited-1_zps81cwmxkc.jpg

I decided to pull out my Chameleon Color Tones and NEW Chameleon Color Tops to colour up this sweet girl. This was my first time colouring skin (NU00, NU1, NU2) and hair (BR2 with BR5 Color Top) with my Chameleons. It definitely gives a different effect than what I have typically been able to achieve with my Copics but I still like the look. With a little more practice I think I can achieve a more dimensional look like I get with my Copics. I used BG1 for her jeans and PK2 for her T-shift. For the hairband I used PK2 with PK4 Color Tops.
 photo CCIC0917B_edited-RS2_zpsk5duxgyr.jpg
I cut the image out with my Circle STAX Die-namics, left the image in the die and inked with Broken China Distress ink. I then cut Steel Grey Heavyweight Cardstock with my Spellbinder Nestabilites Lacey Circle Die and popped the image panel on it. I cut several flowers from MFT felt to mimic the pretty fabric flowers on the dreamcatcher. I embellished with some Hemp twine and pink sequins.

I stamped the sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Bitty Banners Stamp Set in Grout Grey Premium Dye Ink and cut it with the Bitty Banner Confetti Cuts
 photo CCIC0917E_edited-RS5_zpsghy9ice7.jpg
I finished up the inside of my card too...I printed a shadow image of Marci with a Quill and coloured in the hearts on her T-shirt with a pink Stardust Sakura Gelly Roll Pen. I added another cluster of felt flowers and stamped a sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Stamp set A Friend Like You Stamp set in Grout Grey Premium Dye Ink
Thanks SO much for stopping by and havin' a little look at my card for the - September 1st Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Dreamcatcher!

Curtain Call Challenge March 15 - Fluffy & Reverse Confetti - Whole Lotta Happy

Hello Stampin' friends! Welcome to the March 15th Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Fluffy. When I started making my card for this challenge I was taking inspiration from the pillow in the bottom lefthand side of the photo but this card ended up going in a different direction than planned. That's okay...I'm still happy with how my St. Patrick's Day card turned out and you have the flexibility to use the inspirational photo or Anything Goes.

I used MFT Heavyweight Cardstock in Spearmint and Whip Cream

I made more paper with the "Smooshing Technique" with Evergreen Bough Distress Ink and cut it Big Stripes Cover Panel Confetti Cuts. I layered it over the Spearmint Heavyweight Cardstock. I stamped the word "Happy" from the Whole Lotta Happy Stamp set on Whip Cream Heavyweight Carstock cut with the Lacey Scallop Circle panel and popped it up in the circle opening in the Big Stripes Cover panel.  I stamped the second part of the sentiment from the Whole Lotta Happy Stamp set on Whip Cream Heavyweight Cardstock and cut with a Stitched Fishtail Sentiment Strip.

I made my own little shamrock with the small heart die from the Stamped Note Confetti Cuts. I just used the outline and adhered them together.  I embellished with some green glittery YNS Gumdrops and Hemp Twine.
Thanks SO much for stopping by and havin' a little look at my card for the March 15th Curtain Call Challenge - Fluffy!
