My Favorite Things Stamps...July MFT Teasers Day 5...A La Modes - You Anchor Me and On Safari!

Well, we are getting to the home stretch. Not long now and the all the new stamps and Die-namics will be available. Here are the details about the upcoming release on July 3 at 10 PM EST:

I used both of the super fun and cute NEW A La Modes stamp sets, You Anchor Me and On Safari! I just adore both fo these ALM girlies to bits. First up is A La Modes, You Anchor Me. I paired her with this pretty My Minds Eye, Indie Chic Nutmeg 6x6 papers, I thought they had a nautical feel to them.  I coloured the You Anchor Me ALM girl with my Copics and paper pieced her cute out-fit. I cut the image out with my Rectangle STAX Die-namics and drew in some decking with my Prismacolour Pencils and inked with Old Paper Distress ink. 

I used the NEW Solid Skyline Die-namics, the NEW Jumbo Squiggle Border Die-namics and the New Sea Charms too. I cut the the ship's wheel and the anchor from DCWV metallic cardstock and tied the charms to the bow with more twine. I stamped one of the cute sentiments that comes in the the stamp set on pattern paper cut with the NEW Sentiments Strips.

Here is the inside of the card...I stamped the You Anchor Me ALM girl again and added a sentiment from the Big Greetings Sentiment set.

Up next is the super cute NEW A La Modes, On Safari. I made this card for my daughter, Hannah! Tuesday, July 3rd, is her 13th Birthday and to celebrate as a family we are going to the Toronto Zoo today to check out the wildlife, lol!

 So for my card, I coloured the ALM, On Safari girlie with my Copics and added in ground and some shading with my Primsacolor pencils. I cut the image out with my OVAL STAX Die-namics and inked with Scattered Straw Distress ink. I used Simple Stories Happy Day 6x6 paper pad for this card. One of the patterned papers had this little calendar for the Month of July, so, I cut it out, marked Hannah's B'day on it and stamped in the word "ZOO" with the alphabet stamps from the Let's Toast Stamped and Die-namics set.  To embellish, I added some American Crafts Ribbon from my stash and a sprinkling of brown half-pearls. I stamped this fun sentiment from the On Safari Stamp set on kraft card cut with the ribbon die, from the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics.

Here is the inside of the card...I stamped the ALM girl from the NEW On Safari Stamp set again and used another one of the cute sentiments from this set on kraft card cut with the NEW Sentiment Strips Die-namics.
