Hello Stampin' friends!!! It has been a very long time since I have made a card and posted here on my blog but I have been staying home and self-isolating/social distancing, like everyone one else, during the COVID19 pandemic. We finally got around to giving my craftroom a refresh with a coat of paint. We had this mini-reno in the works for a while but hadn't got around to it. So, we finally did it! Chris painted and hung up the pegboard that my Dad made for me and my Mum painted it. I love it!!! Everyone did a great job! Scroll down to see some craftroom pics.
So, I made this card with this adorable MFT Somebunny Sweet Pure Innocence stamp. I think she is retired now but this is my first time inking her up. I made this card with the pretty color pallet for the MFT Color Challenge 138. I am also entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. They have a beautiful spring mood board for inspiration.
I made my card with MFT Heavyweight Cardstock in Primitive White, Razzle Berry, Blu Raspberry and Reverse Confetti Sunshine Cardstock.
I coloured the Somebunny Sweet Pure Innocence with my Copic markers and I created a little scene with the flower accessories stamp from the Mud Buddies Pure Innocence Stamp set. I cut the image with my MFT Rectangle STAX Die-namics and did some inking with Distress ink in Tumbled Glass and Mowed Lawn.
I made the scalloped frames cut from Primitive White Heavyweight Cardstock with the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge Frames Die-namics. I stamped the background with Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink on Primitive White Cardstock with Crosshatch Background Stamp.
I stamped a sentiment from the Somebunny Sweet Pure Innocence Stamp set and embellished with some stamped and copic-colored eggs from the same set, cut with the coordinating Somebunny Sweet Die-namics. I wrapped the stitched sentiment strip with some hemp twine and added a sprinkling of Your Next Stamp sparkly Gumdrops.
My room is very small but it works for me and I love having a dedicated space and everything close by and I love being able to close the door on a crafty mess!
The baskets are from Michaels and I just punched a hole with my Crop-A-Dile and hung them on the pegboard hooks. I plan on hanging stamps and dies that I want to use on a specific project or that are NEW so that I remember what I have and use them.
My Dad made these shelves a long time ago but they weren't painted...so when Chris took them down to paint the walls and painted them white. They look great white!
Thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my my spring/easter card with the adorable Pure Innocence Somebunny Sweet Stamp set for the MFT Color Challenge # 138!
