For my card today, I inked up the super sweet NEW Pure Innocence, Around The World - Netherlands, the first in the new Pure Innocence - Around the World stamp sets. I adore this new set and it is extra special to me as Canada and the Netherlands have a very special relationship. Canada offered assistance to the Dutch and the Dutch Royal family during WWII.  As a show of gratitude to Canada the Dutch Royal family sent 100,000 tulips to Canada and promised to send 10,000 every year after. These beautiful tulips bloom at our Nations Capital, Ottawa, every spring in the Canadian Tulip Festival, celebrating international friendship.

I used the pretty Teressa Collins Every Day Moments 6x6 papers. I coloured the PI Netherlands girl with my copics and paper pieced her hat and dress. I popped her up on a panel made with the NEW Hearts STAX Die-namics. I also added just the opened hearts border of the NEW Layered Heart Border Die-namics. I loved that the set comes with Dutch sentiments...this set is going to be perfect for cards for my Dutch friends. Many Dutch people have immigrated and settled in the region where I live. I stamped one of the sentiments from this set on Sweet Tooth Heavyweight Card Stock on one of the tags cut from the NEW Accent It - Labels and Tags. To embellish I add some pretty Sweet Tooth Grosgrain Ribbon with a Tangy Orange Button tied with Hemp Cord.

Here is the inside...I stamped the NEW PI Around the World - Netherlands girl again and used the NEW Heart STAX Die-namics for the sentiment panel and added another border using just the open hearts from the NEW Layered Heart Border Die-namics

Thanks SO much stopping by and having a wee peek at my card with the NEW PI Around the World - Netherlands. Please take a moment to visit Kim's blog for links to all the MFT Designers with cards and creations to share. Also, be sure to leave comments as you go for the chance to win one of 2, $10 gift certificates given away daily.  The winners will be posted on January 8 just before the release party, on the MFT blog.

Happy Stampin'!
