I cut her out and popped her up on the panel that I made using the Open scalloped Doily Die-namics cut from corrugated card. I also used the NEW Die-namics Circle STAX 1 and 2 to layer the cardstock and patterned paper on the Doily. The Circle STAXs nest perfectly and make such a nice thin border when you layer both STAX 1 and STAX 2 together. They also co-ordinate perfectly with the various MFT Doily Circle Die-namics too. So, do you love the new Fishtail Flags STAX as much as me???? it's SO on trend right now....I'm seeing the Fishtail everywhere!!! Personally, I've always found it a bit tricky to cut the perfect fishtail "by hand" but that problem is SOLVED with the NEW Fishtail Flag STAX.
So, I'm a little obsessed with my Keurig Coffee maker at the mo and my daughter tells me her teacher, Ms. George, is too! Apparently they even have one in the teacher's lounge at her school. So, I picked up a few Spiced Apple and Caramel Apple Cider K-cups and wrapped them in a cellophane bag. I used the new Let's Toast Die-namics to create the packaging for my little K-cup gift tag. The Let's Toast Die is intended to decorate a bottle of wine but I love how versatile the MFT Die-namics and stamp sets are. So, I used the Circle STAX 1 and STAX 2 Die-namics to make a little disk so the opening of the bottle tag is smaller to fit around the cellophane packaging and so it won't slide off. I also used the NEW By The Letters Upercase Die-namics to spell out the word "BEST" and stamped the word teacher from the NEW, ALM, An Apple for Teacher set and layered it over one of the mini Doilies from the, New Mini Doily Circles Die-namics, to co-ordinate with the card.
Here is the inside...I stamped the ALM girl again and the rest of the "Thank you" sentiment from the ALM, An Apple for Teacher Set.
Well, thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card and K-Cup teacher gift set! Please pop by Kim's blog to see more samples featuring the new MFT A La Mode sets for the April release by the fabulously crafty MFT Designers!
Happy Stampin'!
