Good Morning Krafty Friends! So glad you could make the Krafty Hop! Today Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps is releasing their new June images! As you’ve seen over the last few day in our Krafty Peeks, Annie Rodrigue has created the MOST MARVELOUS MERMAIDS! They are part of our Summer Mermaid Kit which includes SIX stunning Mermaid images, SIX matching accessory stamps (plus a few bonuses) and a coordinating Mermaid Sentiment set with over 20 perfect phrases!! This kit is only available as a set and only at the Krafin’ Kimmie Shop for a limited time!
We are also THRILLED to bits to introduce our newest artist, Steven Leary!! He has brought us some super cute images featuring Miles the Mouse!! He’s having lots of fun at the beach this month and we know you’ll love him!! And you’ll get to check them all out in today’s June release day KRAFTY HOP!! Steven just so happens to be the next stop on the blog hop! So hop on over there (after you have a peek here, of course) and see what he has created!
If you want to start from the beginning, just head over to the Kraftin’ Kimmie Challenge Blog! As you hop from blog to blog, be sure to leave a comment at each and every stop because some lucky stampers will win packages of stamps from the new release!! And when you’re done hoppin’, be sure to head over to the Kraftin’ Kimmie store, because ALL the new images are NOW available! OH and did I mention? Each and every order placed this week, will receive a little goodie bag of random bonus accessory stamps in your package! How about that???
So for our blog hop cards Hannah and I decided to use the sweet Mirina! I love the humour in this image. The look on the wee fishy's face is just too funny! So, I used one of the funny sentiments that comes in the Mermaid kit because there just seems to be "something fishy" going on here, smile! I made an Easel card from AC Cardstock and used K&Co. Citronella paper. The ribbon is by AC too and I added some bright, citrus coloured Prima flowers with green half pearls.
I also added some rain dots for bubbles and a few of them are even heart shaped...ahhhh! I cut Mirina out with my circle Nesties using the "Out of the Box" technique, inked with Mustard Seed Distress ink and matted with the Big Scalloped circle Nestie.
-----Jr. Krafty Girl, Hannah----
Hannah made her 6x6 card from AC Cardstock too and used papers from the MME Totally Girl stack. She coloured Mirina with Mommy's Copics ( and she is really getting good at it too) and I helped her cut out the image with the Lable Ten Nestie that she picked because she thought it looked like an open clam shell...(good thinking)! She inked the image while it was still in the die with Tumbled Glass Distress inks.
Hannah added a few Prima Flowers and some bling. Then stamped one of the 20 coordinating sentiments that comes in the Mermaid Kit with Rose Bud Memento ink. She added a few bubbles and a lot of Strawberry Ice Stickels to Mirina amd her "fishfriend".
Well, Thanks for stopping by and having a wee peek at our cards! Now, hop on over and pay Steven, our New Krafty Artist, a little visit! Don't forget to leave a comment!
Hugs and Happy Hopping!
