Good Morning crafty friends! I am happy to be back blogging this week! Not sure if you noticed I was MIA! Last week I was on holidays with my hubby, Chris! We went on our 3rd Caribbean Cruise! This time, on Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas. Have you heard about this ship?! It is the largest Cruise ship in the world and it was absolutely fabulous!!! We ate soooooo much delicious food that I thought I would explode (gotta get back on my diet now, lol) We really had a fabulous time! So much to see and do! I did quite a bit of shopping in St. Thomas and St. Maarten and I am really excited about my new Philip Stein watch...it's sooo pretty and I'm very thankful for my hubby for letting me splurge...it was rather indulgent! I am not a big jewelry person but I always wear a watch so it is nice to have a good quality one now!
Sooo on to the card.....It is Wednesday and that means it is Whiff of Joy challenge day! Jane has designed a beautiful sketch for us to use and the WOJ DT has beautiful creations to inspire you. I hope you can join us this week!

I made this card Sunday after just getting back from the cruise late Saturday....so I am afraid I wasn't all the creative with it! I used this yummy MME Quite Contrary paper and I just love it! I picked it up at Crop Circles in Peterborough and I will have to get some more, smile! I thought it would be nice for a baby card so I used Willow with toddler...one of my fave WOJ images. I coloured her with my Copics, of course and cut her out and pop-dotted her on the MME paper cut with my oval Nestie.
The gem flourish is just a cheap and cheerful one from Micheals and I added a few dollar store pearls! I also added some American Crafts ribbon, dollar store cotton trim and dollar store roses.
Here is the inside....both the front and inside sentiments are Melissa Frances rub-ons!

Well, I thought I would share some cruise pics...unfortunately these aren't the best ones as many of the pic files on my card got corrupted and I think I have lost them for good, pout!!! I am going to see if I can retrieve them though...fingers crossed!!! I do have a lot of video though so I am happy about that!
This is Chris holding a female Stingray in Nassau! Look at how crystal clear the water is...I was too chicken to touch them and I screamed when they brushed against my ankles!

This is me in St. Thomas!!!! We went on a panoramic bus tour and then shopping downtown!
This is the Aqua Theatre and the view to the left from our balcony. At night they had a high diving aqua show here. The blue stage lowers and it becomes a pool! Very cool!!!!
This is the view to the right from our cabin balcony. We looked over the open air Boardwalk!
This is me at our first port of call, Nassau and then St. Thomas and St. Maarten
This gives you a good idea just how big the Oasis is....here we are docked in Nassau beside Carnival Dream. Dream is the newest and biggest ship in the Carnival fleet. Oasis is just massive in comparison!
Well, thanks so much for stopping by...sorry the post is so long but I wanted to share some pics!
I hope you have a stampin' great day!

ReplyDeleteWow, love seeing all your holiday pics! Seems like you had a great time. What a huge ship! I always think of a cruise as something really romantic... maybe because of "loveboat" on tv, lol.
