WOJ Sneak Peek...Wedding Congratulations!

I used three of the new WoJ Women's Delight stamps on this card, that will be released on June 14, in the Whiff of Joy online shop! Don't miss out on theses beautiful stamps will be flying of the shelves, I'm sure!!!

So, as promised this is my happy accident card, smile. I thought the WoJ swing was a trellis/walkway, as I mentioned yesterday. I guess Willow is having a garden wedding, how beautiful! I rather like how this turned out and I think this just makes the stamps that much more versatile when you can use them in different ways!!!!!

I stamped Willow on Bee Artist Marker paper and then made a mask out of a post-it-note and then stamped the swing upside down to make a trellis! I only wish I had read Rach's fabulous tutorial on masking before I made this card!!!! She gives a fabulous tip...because the vail is transparent it's important to cut the vail off from the mask so the flowers in the background can show through it. That didn't even occur to me and you can see I didn't do that for this card but definitely will for my other cards.
I coloured Willow with my Copics and I used the "Copic water-Colouring technique" on the flowers...I have a mini-tutorial for this technique here on how to achieve a softer affect with your Copics by filling a tank brush with colourless blender fluid!

I also visited the Copic Creations Challenge blog this week and they have several fabulous links to tutorials on colouring transparent objects. Many of the links are to Marianne Walker's blog I like Markers. These tutorials were extremely helpful to me!!!!
For this card I used this beautiful Heidi Grace patterned paper, Bazzill cardstock and Worldwind cardstock. It was hard to capture in a pic but I used my gold Metallic Rub-Ons to add a hint of gold to the edges of the flowers, leaves and around the oval image, the scalloped mat, the sentiment etc. It looks great IRL! I used Stix 2 glue and dabbed it with a tooth pick on the little dots in the image and then rubbed on the Stix 2 gold foil to add some gold accents to Willow's bouquet and the flowers around the trellis. The sentiment is from the Women's Delight Collection too and I stamped it in VersaMark and used Gold embossing power.
Thanks for stopping by and having a wee sneak peek at the gorgeous new WoJ Women's Delight stamps and remember June 14th is the big day!!!!
Hugs,
