Reverse Confetti Big Bear - Beary Christmas 2021

Hello Stampin' friends...just popping by to share a Reverse Confetti Stamps Christmas card and to wish everyone a "beary" Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

I pulled out some old Basic Grey Evergreen and Aspen Frost 6X6 patterned paper from my stash for this cards and used MFT Heavyweight Cardstock in Natural, Pink Lemonade, Red Hot, Jellybean Green and Fuse Green

I didn't buy new Christmas stamps this year but decided to use what I had in my stash. I inked up this sweet big bear from the Reverse Confetti Big Bear Stamp set and Big Bear Confetti Cuts I used the knitting accessory stamp as I made this card for a friend who makes beautiful crocheted blankets. I embellished with some YNS sparkly Gumdrops and hemp twine.

I coloured the Big Bear with my Copics and gave her a toque with a stamp from another RC Stamp set called S'more Love to match her scarf. I made layered flowers cut with MFT Blueprints 5 flowers, Flowers and Leaf Trio and  Upsy Daisy flower Die-namics and used the RC Lacy Scallop Circles Confetti Cuts. I stamped the sentiment from the RC Bearing Gifts Stamp Set

I stamped this sentiment from the Big Bear Stamp set and added a shadow stamp image of the Big Bear. I also embellished with a few more flowers and sparkly YNS Gumdrops.

Thank you SO much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my Big Bear Christmas card!

Merry Christmas and happy new year!

Reverse Confetti & Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Birthday - You're Fintastic

Hello stampin' friends! I am SO happy that I was able to get crafty again! I made this FUN birthday card with the NEW Reverse Confetti, Oceans of Love Stamp set and Oceans of Love Confetti Cuts. I ordered this sweet stamp set from, Simon Says Stamp, along with some other Reverse Confetti Stamps from the new release. I am entering my card, You're Fintastic, in the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Birthday Celebration!

I used my "Reverse" water-colouring technique on this card....I just love doing this and find it much less time consuming than water-colouring each image. I used the "smooshing" technique with my Distress inks to create sheets of water-coloured paper and then strategically stamped the images on the paper to get the desired watercolour effect. I did go in with my ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Watercolour pens and add some extra definition/contrast to the adorable little sea-turtle...I've been calling him Squirt, lol and some of his friends!  I also stamped some images from the Reverse Confetti Mermaid Kisses Stamp set from my stash.

I embellished with some hemp twine tied to the sentiment strip where I stamped the sentiment from the Oceans of Love Stamp set and I added a sprinkling of sparkly blue YNS Gumdrops

I created the water-coloured background for the scene again using the "Smooshing" technique with my Tim Holtz Distress inks and then strategically cut out several different colours with the NEW Circle of Waves Confetti Cuts. I also created a frame using my MFT Circle STAX Die-namics cut from MFT Whip Cream Heavyweight Card Stock and popped it up with foam adhesive.

It doesn't show in the photos but I added some sparkle with my ZIG Wink of Stella Clear glitter pen.

I finished the inside of the card too. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from an old Reverse Confetti Stamp set - Monkey Business. I don't know if you are like this but I really like all the fonts on a card, inside and out, to match.  I also used a sentiment from the NEW Oceans of Love Stamp set that is super cute.

Thank you SO much for stopping by and having a little look at my card for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Birthday Celebration using the NEW Reverse Confetti Oceans of Love Stamp set and Confetti Cuts

Funko Pop! Quidditch Harry & Spider-Man

Hello Stampin' friends! It has been a very long time since I've made a card and posted it here on my blog but I thought I would share two cards that I made recently for a friend at work. She recently shared with me her obsession with collecting Funko Pop! figurines (I can see why...they are SO cute) and her LOVE of Harry Potter Funko Pop!

This got my crafty senses working and and I wondered if I could find a Funko Pop! digital stamp or image so I could make my friend a Funko Pop! Harry Potter card. I did a quick google search and discovered these super cute Funko Pop! colouring pages HERE. Quidditch Harry and Spider-Man were exactly what I was looking for!

I resized the image to fit my card, printed Quidditch Harry on Neenah Solar White Cardstock and coloured him up with my Copics. I cut him out with MFT Stamps Rectangle STAX and left the image in the die and inked with Mustard Seed Distress ink. I also did the "Ink Smooshing" technique with various Tim Holtz Distress inks to create the background paper. I used my Reverse Confetti All Framed Up Confetti Cuts cut from RC Salsa Cardstock. I embellished with some grey Hemp cord and Your Next Stamp gold sparkly Gumdrops!  I printed the sentiment with the free Harry P font from DaFont.com and cut it out with the the Reverse Confetti Bitty Banners Confetti Cuts and inked with Mustard Seed Distress ink

I finished the inside of the card too. I resized Quidditch Harry and printed him out on Neenah Solar White Cardstock to create a shadow image and then cut the card panel from MFT Blueprints #11. I used the Harry P font to create the sentiment with a Harry Potter movie quote that I found on Pinterest. I cut out the printed sentiment with MFT Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics and inked it with Mustard Seed Distress ink and layered it with the MFT Layered Treat Bag Die-namics

I had so much fun making the Funko Pop! Quidditch Harry card that I made another card with Funko Pop! Spider-Man. This card is for her great-grandson's upcoming 2nd birthday!

Again, I resized Spider-man, printed him on Neenah Solar White Cardstock and coloured him with my Copics. I fussy cut around the image and popped it up on the Reverse Confetti Web Tag Layer Confetti Cuts cut from silver glitter cardstock. I created some background paper using the "Ink Smooshing" technique with Tim Holtz Distress inks and used the Reverse Confetti All Framed up Confetti Cuts for the stitched border cut from RC Brick Cardstock

I tied the tag with grey Hemp Twine and embellished with some YNS Red Gumdrops. I stamped a sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Tie-rific Stamp set with Stephanie Barnard ColorBox Premium Dye ink in Blueberry and cut the sentiment out with the MFT Stitched Sentiment Strips

I tried to recreate the texture/dimension on the eyes of the actual Funko Pop! Spider-man figurine and used my Gelly Roll Glitter Pen in Clear Star to get the desired effect.

I finished the inside of this card with another printed shadow image. I was able to personalize it using an old QuicKutz 2X2 Olivia Unicase Alphabet Die Set and stamped a sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Whole Lotta Happy Sentiment Stamp Set

Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a little look at the cards I made with the Funko Pop! Colouring page images.
