Your Next Stamp...February Feature Day and Colour Throwdown # 330...Sprinkles

Hello stampin' friends! Today I'm joining the Your Next Stamp Design Team for their February Feature Day - Think Spring. I'm SO ready for Spring!!! I've had enough of the snow, the bitter cold and being SICK :( Spring couldn't come soon enough.

Not only is it the February Feature Day but I'm previewing the NEW Sprinkles Stamp set and NEW coordinating Sprinkles Die Set because we are having a YNS Mini-Release of 3 fabulous and fun NEW stamp set available TODAY!!!

This adorable little bunny, Sprinkles, brought a little ray of sunshine into my life! I LOVE this set SO much that I couldn't stop at just one card and so I have two spring themed cards to share today!

Make sure to comment on the YNS blog for a chance to win a YNS stamp set of YOUR choice!!!

They have the perfect Spring-themed colour combo over at the Colour Throwdown # 330! I used Primitive White, Primitive Cream, Orange Fizz, Spearmint, Jellybean Green, Sour Apple and Steel Grey Heavyweight Cardstock.

First up, is a little scene card...this is for some-bunny celebrating a spring birthday! Okay, how stinkin' CUTE is Sprinkles in his carrot-mobile?! I coloured Sprinkles from the Sprinkles Stamp Set with my Copics and die-cut him out with the fabulous Sprinkles Die set. I created some rolling hills and the road with the Spring/Summer Scene Die Set. The grass was cut with the Spring Grass Die Set and I made the sun with the stitched circle die from the Open Scallop Die Set and tucked it behind the cute clouds cut with the Spring/Summer Scene Die Set.

The Sprinkles Stamp set includes super cute accessory stamps and lots of sentiments. I stamped part of this sentiments from the set and carried it over into the inside of the card. Of course, I had to use my beloved YNS Gumdrops...I sprinkled the pretty Sparkly Teal Gumdrops around my card and added one Pumpkin Gumdrop to the sun.

I finished off the inside of my card....I stamped a shadow image of Sprinkles and made a sentiment panel with the Open Scallop Die Set and the Circle Die Set. The cute die cut carrots are from the Easter Goodies Die Set

I was on a roll and made a second card with the Sprinkles Stamp set. I coloured up the second image in the set with my Copics, cut him out with the coordinating Sprinkles Die set and popped him up on the circle panel. I cut the stitched circles with the Circle Die Set and the Stitching Marks Die Set - Circles. I also stamped, coloured and cut out the cute painted Easter eggs and I added some more Spring Grass with some cute die-cut flowers cut with the Sprinkles Die Set. Finally I stamped a sentiment from the Sprinkles Set and added some Sparkly Lime Green Gumdrops.

Your Next Stamp...YNS Colour Challenge # 7 & DS # 187...Luck and Love...

Hello Stampin' friends! I'm totally smitten with the Irish lad in the NEW Your Next Stamp Irish Hello Stamp set. He is SO much fun to colour and this set is chock-full of other cute stamps and the perfect sentiments for St. Patrick's day cards or for a Good Luck greeting! I made this card following the Your Next Stamp Color Challenge # 7...such a pretty green palette. Don't forget to join us for the Your Next Stamp Sketch or Colour Challenge # 7 you just might be the lucky winner of a YNS gift certificate....Good Luck ;)

I made my card with Jelly Bean Green, Sour Apple, Gumdrop Green, Steel Blue and Primitive Cream Heavyweight Cardstock

and I followed the fab sketch over at the Deconstructed Sketch # 187!

I coloured the cute Irish lad from the YNS Irish Hello Stamp set with my Copics, I fussy cut him out and popped him up on the circle panel with dimensional adhesive squares.  I've hit that magical age and need reading-glasses now :(...fussy cutting out my images has become quite the arduous task... NOTE TO SELF - add the co-ordinating YNS Irish Hello Die set  to my shopping cart. I LOVE being able to effortlessly and precisely cut out my stamped image with a coordinating die...and my eyes LOVE it too.

I stamped one of the cute sentiments from the Irish Hello Stamp set with Timber Green Premium Dye Ink. I embellished with these pretty Pine Green Gumdrops and added some pretty green AC Hemp cord.

I finished the inside of my card too....I stamped a shadow image of the Irish lad in Steel Grey Premium Dye Ink and stamped another sentiment from the Irish Hello Stamp set. I used the YNS Open Scallop Die Set to make the sentiment panel.

Thanks SO much for popping by and havin' a wee peek at my card with the Your Next Stamp Colour Challenge # 7 featuring the Irish Hello Stamp set.  We would love for you to join the Your Next Stamp Sketch or Colour Challenge and you may be the lucky winner of a YNS gift certificate!

Your Next Stamp...Design Team Dare Challenge...Sweet and Cool!

Hello stampin' friends! I'm having a blast as the Guest Designer for Your Next Stamp this month. Thanks for popping by today for the Your Next Stamp - Design Team Dare! Make sure to head on over to the Your Next Stamp blog to see all the gorgeous creations by the YNS DT and leave a comment on the YNS blog post for a chance to WIN!

The YNS DT Dare is 3-2-1...Use 3 Gumdrops (not sure I can keep it down to just 3 but I'll try) 2 Your Next Stamp dies and 1 Your Next Stamp set.

 photo YNSDTDare_edited-2RS1_zpsc07602a3.jpg

For my card I used the super cute Sweet and Cool Stamp set (I might have cheated a bit because I used the YNS Fun Faces stamp set too). I coloured up the cool Popsicle with Copics, cut the image out and layered it over the YNS Open Scallop Die set. I stamped the sentiment "Hello" from the NEW Irish Hello Stamp set

 photo YNSDTDareC_edited-1RS3_zpsf1628c09.jpg

I think the Your Next Stamp Tear Away Die adds SO much fun to a card. I used the Large Tear Away Die, when you tear it away, it reveals a sentiment from the Sweet and Cool Stamp set.  I used 3 Sparkly Teal Gumdrops...yes, just 3 as per the DT Dare.

I finished off the inside of my card too...I stamped another sentiment from the Sweet and Cool Stamp set and I used the Open Scallop Die again for the sentiment panel!

Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a little peek at my card for the Your Next Stamp Design Team Dare
